Kapetan hrvatske reprezentacije Luka Modrić odbio je u nedjelju navečer reći hoće li nastaviti igrati za Hrvatsku čiji dres nosi od 2006. godine, izvijestile su španjolske novine Marca.

"Imam jasnu odluku, ali je neću priopćiti danas", rekao je Modrić izlazeći sa stadiona u Rotterdamu.

Hrvatska je ondje izgubila od Španjolske u finalu Lige nacija na jedanaesterce, nakon što u 120 minuta nije bilo pogodaka.

Modrić, koji će za tri mjeseca napuniti 38 godina, razočaran je napustio stadion.

Hrvatska je pred oko 35.000 svojih navijača bila nadomak osvajanju svog prvog trofeja. No porazom od 4-5 tijekom raspucavanja s bijele točke opet je ostala bez zlatne medalje, kao i na Svjetskom prvenstvu 2018. Prije šest mjeseci je osvojila je brončanu medalju na Svjetskom prvenstvu u Katru.

Hrvatski navijači su unatoč porazu pljeskom i skandiranjem ispratili reprezentativce s Feyenoordova stadiona.

Modrić, vezni igrač Real Madrida, zabio je gol iz jedanaesterca te je i dalje važan reprezentaciji koju iduće ljeto čeka Europsko prvenstvo ako ga izbori kroz kvalifikacije.

"Što se tiče Luke, on će sam donijeti svoju odluku, to je najpoštenije", rekao je izbornik Dalić na konferenciji za medije. "Treba mu dati vremena da se odmori da se sve slegne. U ovom trenutku nije lako donositi odluke. Volio bih da ostane, svi bi voljeli da ostane", dodao je.

Novinari Marce nagađaju da "desetka" više neće igrati za Hrvatsku nego samo za Real Madrid.

"Njegovo lice nakon utakmice i to što čuva trenutak za priopćiti odluku, upućuje da je u Rotterdamu možda zaključio igranje za reprezentaciju Hrvatske nakon 17 godina", piše Marca.

Španjolski izbornik Luis de la Fuente, upitan na konferenciji za medije o Modriću, odgovorio je da on osobno obožava tog hrvatskog igrača i da bi volio da on općenito nastavi igrati što duže.

Modrić je za Hrvatsku odigrao 166 utakmica i postigao 24 pogotka. Trofej s Hrvatskom je jedino što mu nedostaje u karijeri.

Kapetan hrvatske reprezentacije Luka Modrić odbio je u nedjelju navečer reći hoće li nastaviti igrati za Hrvatsku čiji dres nosi od 2006. godine, izvijestile su španjolske novine Marca.

"Imam jasnu odluku, ali je neću priopćiti danas", rekao je Modrić izlazeći sa stadiona u Rotterdamu.

Hrvatska je ondje izgubila od Španjolske u finalu Lige nacija na jedanaesterce, nakon što u 120 minuta nije bilo pogodaka.

Modrić, koji će za tri mjeseca napuniti 38 godina, razočaran je napustio stadion.

Hrvatska je pred oko 35.000 svojih navijača bila nadomak osvajanju svog prvog trofeja. No porazom od 4-5 tijekom raspucavanja s bijele točke opet je ostala bez zlatne medalje, kao i na Svjetskom prvenstvu 2018. Prije šest mjeseci je osvojila je brončanu medalju na Svjetskom prvenstvu u Katru.

Hrvatski navijači su unatoč porazu pljeskom i skandiranjem ispratili reprezentativce s Feyenoordova stadiona.

"Što se tiče Luke, on će sam donijeti svoju odluku, to je najpoštenije", rekao je izbornik Dalić na konferenciji za medije. "Treba mu dati vremena da se odmori da se sve slegne. U ovom trenutku nije lako donositi odluke. Volio bih da ostane, svi bi voljeli da ostane", dodao je.

Novinari Marce nagađaju da "desetka" više neće igrati za Hrvatsku nego samo za Real Madrid.

Modrić je za Hrvatsku odigrao 166 utakmica i postigao 24 pogotka. Trofej s Hrvatskom je jedino što mu nedostaje u karijeri.

Kapetan hrvatske reprezentacije Luka Modrić odbio je u nedjelju navečer reći hoće li nastaviti igrati za Hrvatsku čiji dres nosi od 2006. godine, izvijestile su španjolske novine Marca.

"Imam jasnu odluku, ali je neću priopćiti danas", rekao je Modrić izlazeći sa stadiona u Rotterdamu.

Hrvatska je ondje izgubila od Španjolske u finalu Lige nacija na jedanaesterce, nakon što u 120 minuta nije bilo pogodaka.

Modrić, koji će za tri mjeseca napuniti 38 godina, razočaran je napustio stadion.

Hrvatska je pred oko 35.000 svojih navijača bila nadomak osvajanju svog prvog trofeja. No porazom od 4-5 tijekom raspucavanja s bijele točke opet je ostala bez zlatne medalje, kao i na Svjetskom prvenstvu 2018. Prije šest mjeseci je osvojila je brončanu medalju na Svjetskom prvenstvu u Katru.

Hrvatski navijači su unatoč porazu pljeskom i skandiranjem ispratili reprezentativce s Feyenoordova stadiona.
