Novo priznanje za Darija Gjergju (42), uspješnog zadarskog trenera u Belgiji. Prije početka prvenstvene utakmice između Oostendea i Aalstar klupska koordinatorica Marijke Schaepelinck uručila je Dariju Gjergji veliki buket cvijeća povodom 250. utakmice za kormilom Oostendea u belgijskoj košarkaškoj ligi, uključujući i utakmice play-offa. U tih 250 nastupa Gjergja je ostvario 204 pobjede, što je fenomenalni prosjek od 81,27 posto. U istom razdoblju Gjergja je čak šest godina zaredom osvojio titulu nacionalnog pravaka.

Hrvatski trener na klupi Oostendea debitirao je 3. prosinca 2011. s porazom protiv Ghenta 56-64. Prva pobjeda Oostenda pod Gjergjom dogodila se tjedan dana kasnije u Bergenu (70-82). U sezoni 2016.-2017. Gjergja je vodio ekipu u 45 utakmica (36 tijekom regularnog dijela prvenstva i devet u play-offu), u kojima je imao čak 38 pobjeda (30 u regulanom dijelu i 8 u play-offu). U prosjeku je to 84,44 posto uspješnosti, što ga svrstava u sam vrh najuspješnijih košarkaških trenera u Europi. U aktualnoj sezoni Gjergja je već postigao 17 pobjeda u 17 odigranih utakmica, što mu daje savršen učinak od 100 posto pobjeda.

Navijači Oostendea čestitku zadarskom treneru uputili su ovacijama prepune dvorane. Uzbuđeni Gjergja navijačima je uzvratio simboličnim poljupcima.

Od 2011. do danas Dario Gjergja je osvojio šest naslova državnog prvaka i to zaredom, u pet posljednjih sezona podigao je i trofej pobjednika belgijskog Kupa i tri puta je uzeo naslov Superkupa. Dva puta je bio proglašen trenerom godine u Belgiji, a bio je i pomoćnik Velimiru Perasoviću u reprezentaciji Hrvatske na Europskom prvenstvu 2015. godine.

Novo priznanje za Darija Gjergju (42), uspješnog zadarskog trenera u Belgiji. Prije početka prvenstvene utakmice između Oostendea i Aalstar klupska koordinatorica Marijke Schaepelinck uručila je Dariju Gjergji veliki buket cvijeća povodom 250. utakmice za kormilom Oostendea u belgijskoj košarkaškoj ligi, uključujući i utakmice play-offa. U tih 250 nastupa Gjergja je ostvario 204 pobjede, što je fenomenalni prosjek od 81,27 posto. U istom razdoblju Gjergja je čak šest godina zaredom osvojio titulu nacionalnog pravaka.

Hrvatski trener na klupi Oostendea debitirao je 3. prosinca 2011. s porazom protiv Ghenta 56-64. Prva pobjeda Oostenda pod Gjergjom dogodila se tjedan dana kasnije u Bergenu (70-82). U sezoni 2016.-2017. Gjergja je vodio ekipu u 45 utakmica (36 tijekom regularnog dijela prvenstva i devet u play-offu), u kojima je imao čak 38 pobjeda (30 u regulanom dijelu i 8 u play-offu). U prosjeku je to 84,44 posto uspješnosti, što ga svrstava u sam vrh najuspješnijih košarkaških trenera u Europi. U aktualnoj sezoni Gjergja je već postigao 17 pobjeda u 17 odigranih utakmica, što mu daje savršen učinak od 100 posto pobjeda.

Navijači Oostendea čestitku zadarskom treneru uputili su ovacijama prepune dvorane. Uzbuđeni Gjergja navijačima je uzvratio simboličnim poljupcima.

Od 2011. do danas Dario Gjergja je osvojio šest naslova državnog prvaka i to zaredom, u pet posljednjih sezona podigao je i trofej pobjednika belgijskog Kupa i tri puta je uzeo naslov Superkupa. Dva puta je bio proglašen trenerom godine u Belgiji, a bio je i pomoćnik Velimiru Perasoviću u reprezentaciji Hrvatske na Europskom prvenstvu 2015. godine.
