Američki astronauti Bob Behnken i Doug Hurley, koji su pristigli na Međunarodnu svemirsku postaju (ISS) pomoću nove kapsule Crew Dragon Endeavour, privatne tvrtke SpaceX Elona Muska, spustili su se u nedjelju uspješno u Meksički zaljev.

Behnken i Hurley napustili su ISS kasno u subotu, a spustili su se, nakon putovanja od 21 sata, na obali Pensacole (Florida), kako je i predviđeno, u 14:48 po lokalnom vremenu, odnosno u 20: 48 po srednjoeuropskom vremenu.

"U ime timova SpaceX-a i NASA-e, dobrodošli na planet Zemlju. Hvala Vam što ste letjeli SpaceX-om", kazao je kontrolni tim SpaceX-a po spuštanju kapsule.

Kontrolni timovi NASA-e i SpaceX-a u Houstonu i sjedište SpaceX-a u Hawthorneu (Kalifornija) dali su posadi kapsule znak za deorbitiranje otprilike sat vremena prije slijetanja na obalu Pensacole (Florida). 

Prilikom povratka u atmosferu kapsuli je bila usporena brzina s više od 28 tisuća kilometara na sat, na oko 560 kilometara na sat, dok je prilikom spuštanja kapsula letjela 24 kilometra na sat.

Oklop kapsule izgrađen je tako da po povratku u atmosferu može izdržati temperaturu do više od 1900 stupnjeva, dok su Behnken i Hurley, noseći bijelo odijelo SpaceX-a, unutar kabine iskusili temperaturu od 29,4 stupnjeva Celzija.

Posada će provesti do sat vremena plutajući unutar kapsule prije no što ih zajednički timovi za spašavanje SpaceX-a i NASA-e izbave iz kapsule i smjeste u helikopter.

Nakon toga će proći medicinske pretrage uoči povratka u NASA-in Johnson Space Center u Houstonu.

Prva je to NASA-ina misija s posadom, koja je krenula na put iz SAD-a, u posljednjih devet godina.

U nedjelju ujutro astronaute je probudio poziv njihovih sinova.

"Dobro jutro, Dragon Endeavoru", kazao je Hurleyjev sin u snimljenoj poruci poslanoj kapsuli. "Sretan sam što si otišao u svemir, ali sam još sretniji što se vraćaš kući", dodao je sin.

Nakon završetka programa svemirskih letova 2011. Amerikanci su na ISS letjeli ruskim raketama.

Privatna kompanija SpaceX Elona Muska postala je prva privatna kompanija koja je lansirala čovjeka u orbitu.

NASA je tvrtki SpaceX povjerila razvoj novog svemirskog taksija i ako se ta misija završi uspješno, Amerikanci više neće ovisiti o Rusima kako bi letjeli u svemir.

NASA, s ciljem pokretanja komercijalnog tržišta za putovanja u svemir, dodijelila je ukupno gotovo 8 milijardi dolara SpaceX-u i Boeingu u 2014. kako bi razvili svemirske kapsule.

Hurley (53) i Behnken (49) su zaposlenici NASA-e pod ugovorom sa SpaceX-om.

Behnken i Hurley prvi su astronauti koji su sletili u američkoj kapsuli u posljednjih 45 podina.

Završetak misije u samoj završnici pratila je zabrinutost oko uspješnog spuštanja zbog tropske oluje Isaias koja već par dana ugrožava regiju. No dužnosnici SpaceX-a kazali su u nedjelju da je vrijeme na području spuštanja bilo "vrlo mirno".

Američki astronauti Bob Behnken i Doug Hurley, koji su pristigli na Međunarodnu svemirsku postaju (ISS) pomoću nove kapsule Crew Dragon Endeavour, privatne tvrtke SpaceX Elona Muska, spustili su se u nedjelju uspješno u Meksički zaljev.

Behnken i Hurley napustili su ISS kasno u subotu, a spustili su se, nakon putovanja od 21 sata, na obali Pensacole (Florida), kako je i predviđeno, u 14:48 po lokalnom vremenu, odnosno u 20: 48 po srednjoeuropskom vremenu.

"U ime timova SpaceX-a i NASA-e, dobrodošli na planet Zemlju. Hvala Vam što ste letjeli SpaceX-om", kazao je kontrolni tim SpaceX-a po spuštanju kapsule.

Kontrolni timovi NASA-e i SpaceX-a u Houstonu i sjedište SpaceX-a u Hawthorneu (Kalifornija) dali su posadi kapsule znak za deorbitiranje otprilike sat vremena prije slijetanja na obalu Pensacole (Florida). 

Prilikom povratka u atmosferu kapsuli je bila usporena brzina s više od 28 tisuća kilometara na sat, na oko 560 kilometara na sat, dok je prilikom spuštanja kapsula letjela 24 kilometra na sat.

Oklop kapsule izgrađen je tako da po povratku u atmosferu može izdržati temperaturu do više od 1900 stupnjeva, dok su Behnken i Hurley, noseći bijelo odijelo SpaceX-a, unutar kabine iskusili temperaturu od 29,4 stupnjeva Celzija.

Posada će provesti do sat vremena plutajući unutar kapsule prije no što ih zajednički timovi za spašavanje SpaceX-a i NASA-e izbave iz kapsule i smjeste u helikopter.

Nakon toga će proći medicinske pretrage uoči povratka u NASA-in Johnson Space Center u Houstonu.

Prva je to NASA-ina misija s posadom, koja je krenula na put iz SAD-a, u posljednjih devet godina.

U nedjelju ujutro astronaute je probudio poziv njihovih sinova.

"Dobro jutro, Dragon Endeavoru", kazao je Hurleyjev sin u snimljenoj poruci poslanoj kapsuli. "Sretan sam što si otišao u svemir, ali sam još sretniji što se vraćaš kući", dodao je sin.

Nakon završetka programa svemirskih letova 2011. Amerikanci su na ISS letjeli ruskim raketama.

Privatna kompanija SpaceX Elona Muska postala je prva privatna kompanija koja je lansirala čovjeka u orbitu.

NASA je tvrtki SpaceX povjerila razvoj novog svemirskog taksija i ako se ta misija završi uspješno, Amerikanci više neće ovisiti o Rusima kako bi letjeli u svemir.

NASA, s ciljem pokretanja komercijalnog tržišta za putovanja u svemir, dodijelila je ukupno gotovo 8 milijardi dolara SpaceX-u i Boeingu u 2014. kako bi razvili svemirske kapsule.

Hurley (53) i Behnken (49) su zaposlenici NASA-e pod ugovorom sa SpaceX-om.

Behnken i Hurley prvi su astronauti koji su sletili u američkoj kapsuli u posljednjih 45 podina.

Završetak misije u samoj završnici pratila je zabrinutost oko uspješnog spuštanja zbog tropske oluje Isaias koja već par dana ugrožava regiju. No dužnosnici SpaceX-a kazali su u nedjelju da je vrijeme na području spuštanja bilo "vrlo mirno".

Veliki uspjeh SpaceX-a: dvojica NASA-inih astronauta spustila se na Zemlju

Američki astronauti Bob Behnken i Doug Hurley, koji su pristigli na Međunarodnu svemirsku postaju (ISS) pomoću nove kapsule Crew Dragon Endeavour, privatne tvrtke SpaceX Elona Muska, spustili su se u nedjelju uspješno u Meksički zaljev.

Behnken i Hurley napustili su ISS kasno u subotu, a spustili su se, nakon putovanja od 21 sata, na obali Pensacole (Florida), kako je i predviđeno, u 14:48 po lokalnom vremenu, odnosno u 20: 48 po srednjoeuropskom vremenu.

"U ime timova SpaceX-a i NASA-e, dobrodošli na planet Zemlju. Hvala Vam što ste letjeli SpaceX-om", kazao je kontrolni tim SpaceX-a po spuštanju kapsule.

Kontrolni timovi NASA-e i SpaceX-a u Houstonu i sjedište SpaceX-a u Hawthorneu (Kalifornija) dali su posadi kapsule znak za deorbitiranje otprilike sat vremena prije slijetanja na obalu Pensacole (Florida). 

Prilikom povratka u atmosferu kapsuli je bila usporena brzina s više od 28 tisuća kilometara na sat, na oko 560 kilometara na sat, dok je prilikom spuštanja kapsula letjela 24 kilometra na sat.

Oklop kapsule izgrađen je tako da po povratku u atmosferu može izdržati temperaturu do više od 1900 stupnjeva, dok su Behnken i Hurley, noseći bijelo odijelo SpaceX-a, unutar kabine iskusili temperaturu od 29,4 stupnjeva Celzija.

Posada će provesti do sat vremena plutajući unutar kapsule prije no što ih zajednički timovi za spašavanje SpaceX-a i NASA-e izbave iz kapsule i smjeste u helikopter.

Nakon toga će proći medicinske pretrage uoči povratka u NASA-in Johnson Space Center u Houstonu.

Prva je to NASA-ina misija s posadom, koja je krenula na put iz SAD-a, u posljednjih devet godina.

U nedjelju ujutro astronaute je probudio poziv njihovih sinova.

"Dobro jutro, Dragon Endeavoru", kazao je Hurleyjev sin u snimljenoj poruci poslanoj kapsuli. "Sretan sam što si otišao u svemir, ali sam još sretniji što se vraćaš kući", dodao je sin.

Nakon završetka programa svemirskih letova 2011. Amerikanci su na ISS letjeli ruskim raketama.

Privatna kompanija SpaceX Elona Muska postala je prva privatna kompanija koja je lansirala čovjeka u orbitu.

NASA je tvrtki SpaceX povjerila razvoj novog svemirskog taksija i ako se ta misija završi uspješno, Amerikanci više neće ovisiti o Rusima kako bi letjeli u svemir.

NASA, s ciljem pokretanja komercijalnog tržišta za putovanja u svemir, dodijelila je ukupno gotovo 8 milijardi dolara SpaceX-u i Boeingu u 2014. kako bi razvili svemirske kapsule.

Hurley (53) i Behnken (49) su zaposlenici NASA-e pod ugovorom sa SpaceX-om.

Behnken i Hurley prvi su astronauti koji su sletili u američkoj kapsuli u posljednjih 45 podina.
