Infektolog pedijatar Goran Tešović, iz Klinike za infektivne bolesti "Dr. Fran Mihaljević"progovorio je o ponovnom širenju hripavca, bolesti koja se smatrala "nestalom".

Najviše slučajeva zabilježeno je u Splitu, ali brojne infekcije primijećene su i u Zagrebu te u još 15 županija.

“Hripavac se uvijek širio i to mi nije ništa neobično. Brojevi su dosta veliki, udvostručili su se u tjedan dana. Prijavljeno ih je oko 600, ali to bi trebalo pomnožiti s brojem tri. Ne bih nikoga htio razjariti tom tvrdnjom, ali broj je vjerojatno veći i od “puta tri”. Ljudi mi se javljaju danonoćno”, kazao je Tešović.

Dodao je da je sinoć bio dežuran pa je imao priliku gledati dvoje blizanaca koji nisu docijepljeni s pet godina života.

"Kašljali su prilično jasno i nisu bili jedini. Majka ih je dovela u kasnovečernje doba. Takvih ima koliko god hoćete i stvaraju dodatnu gužvu. Bez obzira što govorim da je bolest neugodna i ništa se neće dogoditi u toj dobi, niti će biti posljedica", ispričao je.

Ostao je dojam da hripavca više nema, ali tu je i postavlja se za koga je opasan.

“On nikad nije nestao, ali se smanjio kroz posljednjih tridesetak godina. Još je stigla i pandemija koronavirusa, koja je imala specifičan učinak jer je jedan virus dominirao i jer smo se pridržavali, više ili manje, striktnih mjera. Međutim, hripavac nikad nije nestao iz populacije. No, ovoliko slučajeva u prošlosti nije bilo”, objasnio je infektolog, naglasivši da se očekivao dolazak epidemije.

Kaže da je pomoglo i što se nisu svi cijepili.

“To se uklopilo u sve skupa. Činjenica da dobar dio populacije nije bio prokužen prirodnom infekcijom koja je cirkulirala protekle dvije do tri godine dovela je do ove epidemije, koju nisam nikad u 32 godine iskustva doživjela. Sad imate hripavac u predškolske i školske djece. Među oboljelima je samo šest posto dojenčadi. Sad imamo epidemiološku sliku kao kad nismo imalo cjepivo, odnosno, kad je cjepivo tek stiglo”, istaknuo je.

Napomenio je kako se djetetu izvan dojenačke dobi ništa neće dogoditi, kao ni dojenčetu ako je dobilo barem jednu dozu cjepiva.

"Najranjiviji su oni mlađi od dva mjeseca, bez da su primili jednu dozu cjepiva, kao i oni koji su je primili, ali nisu stigli razviti imunost. Znači, dijete koje je primilo jednu dozu cjepiva nije u opasnosti, ne bi trebalo umrijeti. Ona djeca koja su umrla, nisu cijepljena. Neovisno radi li se o novom ili starijem cjepivu. Ne postoje razlozi za ne cijepiti dijete protiv hripavca", objasnio je.

Zaključio je uputama da se hripavac liječi antibioticima, najbolje Sumamedom.

Infektolog pedijatar Goran Tešović, iz Klinike za infektivne bolesti "Dr. Fran Mihaljević"progovorio je o ponovnom širenju hripavca, bolesti koja se smatrala "nestalom".

Najviše slučajeva zabilježeno je u Splitu, ali brojne infekcije primijećene su i u Zagrebu te u još 15 županija.

“Hripavac se uvijek širio i to mi nije ništa neobično. Brojevi su dosta veliki, udvostručili su se u tjedan dana. Prijavljeno ih je oko 600, ali to bi trebalo pomnožiti s brojem tri. Ne bih nikoga htio razjariti tom tvrdnjom, ali broj je vjerojatno veći i od “puta tri”. Ljudi mi se javljaju danonoćno”, kazao je Tešović.

Dodao je da je sinoć bio dežuran pa je imao priliku gledati dvoje blizanaca koji nisu docijepljeni s pet godina života.

"Kašljali su prilično jasno i nisu bili jedini. Majka ih je dovela u kasnovečernje doba. Takvih ima koliko god hoćete i stvaraju dodatnu gužvu. Bez obzira što govorim da je bolest neugodna i ništa se neće dogoditi u toj dobi, niti će biti posljedica", ispričao je.

Ostao je dojam da hripavca više nema, ali tu je i postavlja se za koga je opasan.

“On nikad nije nestao, ali se smanjio kroz posljednjih tridesetak godina. Još je stigla i pandemija koronavirusa, koja je imala specifičan učinak jer je jedan virus dominirao i jer smo se pridržavali, više ili manje, striktnih mjera. Međutim, hripavac nikad nije nestao iz populacije. No, ovoliko slučajeva u prošlosti nije bilo”, objasnio je infektolog, naglasivši da se očekivao dolazak epidemije.

Kaže da je pomoglo i što se nisu svi cijepili.

“To se uklopilo u sve skupa. Činjenica da dobar dio populacije nije bio prokužen prirodnom infekcijom koja je cirkulirala protekle dvije do tri godine dovela je do ove epidemije, koju nisam nikad u 32 godine iskustva doživjela. Sad imate hripavac u predškolske i školske djece. Među oboljelima je samo šest posto dojenčadi. Sad imamo epidemiološku sliku kao kad nismo imalo cjepivo, odnosno, kad je cjepivo tek stiglo”, istaknuo je.

Napomenio je kako se djetetu izvan dojenačke dobi ništa neće dogoditi, kao ni dojenčetu ako je dobilo barem jednu dozu cjepiva.

"Najranjiviji su oni mlađi od dva mjeseca, bez da su primili jednu dozu cjepiva, kao i oni koji su je primili, ali nisu stigli razviti imunost. Znači, dijete koje je primilo jednu dozu cjepiva nije u opasnosti, ne bi trebalo umrijeti. Ona djeca koja su umrla, nisu cijepljena. Neovisno radi li se o novom ili starijem cjepivu. Ne postoje razlozi za ne cijepiti dijete protiv hripavca", objasnio je.

Zaključio je uputama da se hripavac liječi antibioticima, najbolje Sumamedom.

Infektolog pedijatar Goran Tešović, iz Klinike za infektivne bolesti "Dr. Fran Mihaljević"progovorio je o ponovnom širenju hripavca, bolesti koja se smatrala "nestalom".

Najviše slučajeva zabilježeno je u Splitu, ali brojne infekcije primijećene su i u Zagrebu te u još 15 županija.
