Četvero ljudi je poginulo u nedjelju ujutro kada se američkoj saveznoj državi srušio balon na vrući zrak, priopćila je policija. Balon se srušio oko 7:50 ujutro po lokalnom vremenu u pustinjsko područje istočno od Sunshine Boulevarda i Hanna Roada, rekli su dužnosnici u Eloyu. Eloy se nalazi oko 104 kilometra jugoistočno od Phoenixa, piše Jutarnji list.

U nesreći je jedna osoba teško ozlijeđena. U trenutku nesreće u avionu je bilo pet osoba, priopćila je Federalna uprava za zrakoplovstvo (FAA).

Balon je u nedjelju rano ujutro poletio s osam padobranaca i još pet osoba, rekao je šef policije Eloya Byron Gwaltney za KPHO, podružnicu CBS-a. Rekao je da se čini da su padobranci planirali skočiti do gradske zračne luke Eloy, koja je veliki centar za padobranstvo. Padobranci su se uspjeli spasiti iz balona prije pada.

- Nedugo nakon toga, dogodilo se nešto katastrofalno s balonom zbog čega se srušio na tlo, rekao je Gwaltney.

Policija istražuje incident zajedno s Nacionalnim odborom za sigurnost prometa (NTSB) i Federalnom upravom za avijaciju kako bi utvrdili uzrok smrtonosne nesreće. Istražitelji su u nedjelju bili na licu mjesta i pregledavali srušeni balon (Cameron Balloons A160).

- Preliminarne informacije govore da je balon udario u pustinjsko tlo nakon zasad neutvrđenog problema s omotačem, rekao je glasnogovornik NTSB-a.

Prema riječima očevidaca, zadnjih 10 sekundi rušenja balon je bio bez oblika, ispuhan i padao je ravno prema tlu, otkriva gradonačelnik Eloya,

Među poginulima je Katie Bartroom (28), medicinska sestra iz Indiane, koja se iz hobija bavila padobranstvom.

Prije nekoliko mjeseci, dvije su osobe poginule, a jedna je djevojka ozlijeđena nakon što se balon u kojem su se vozili zapalio u blizini Mexico Cityja.

Četvero ljudi je poginulo u nedjelju ujutro kada se američkoj saveznoj državi srušio balon na vrući zrak, priopćila je policija. Balon se srušio oko 7:50 ujutro po lokalnom vremenu u pustinjsko područje istočno od Sunshine Boulevarda i Hanna Roada, rekli su dužnosnici u Eloyu. Eloy se nalazi oko 104 kilometra jugoistočno od Phoenixa, piše Jutarnji list.

U nesreći je jedna osoba teško ozlijeđena. U trenutku nesreće u avionu je bilo pet osoba, priopćila je Federalna uprava za zrakoplovstvo (FAA).

Balon je u nedjelju rano ujutro poletio s osam padobranaca i još pet osoba, rekao je šef policije Eloya Byron Gwaltney za KPHO, podružnicu CBS-a. Rekao je da se čini da su padobranci planirali skočiti do gradske zračne luke Eloy, koja je veliki centar za padobranstvo. Padobranci su se uspjeli spasiti iz balona prije pada.

- Nedugo nakon toga, dogodilo se nešto katastrofalno s balonom zbog čega se srušio na tlo, rekao je Gwaltney.

Policija istražuje incident zajedno s Nacionalnim odborom za sigurnost prometa (NTSB) i Federalnom upravom za avijaciju kako bi utvrdili uzrok smrtonosne nesreće. Istražitelji su u nedjelju bili na licu mjesta i pregledavali srušeni balon (Cameron Balloons A160).

- Preliminarne informacije govore da je balon udario u pustinjsko tlo nakon zasad neutvrđenog problema s omotačem, rekao je glasnogovornik NTSB-a.

Prema riječima očevidaca, zadnjih 10 sekundi rušenja balon je bio bez oblika, ispuhan i padao je ravno prema tlu, otkriva gradonačelnik Eloya,

Među poginulima je Katie Bartroom (28), medicinska sestra iz Indiane, koja se iz hobija bavila padobranstvom.

Tragedija u Arizoni: srušio se balon, poginule četiri osobe; ‘Vidio sam zadnjih 10 sekundi pada, pravi horor‘

Četvero ljudi je poginulo u nedjelju ujutro kada se američkoj saveznoj državi srušio balon na vrući zrak, priopćila je policija. Balon se srušio oko 7:50 ujutro po lokalnom vremenu u pustinjsko područje istočno od Sunshine Boulevarda i Hanna Roada, rekli su dužnosnici u Eloyu. Eloy se nalazi oko 104 kilometra jugoistočno od Phoenixa, piše Jutarnji list.

U nesreći je jedna osoba teško ozlijeđena. U trenutku nesreće u avionu je bilo pet osoba, priopćila je Federalna uprava za zrakoplovstvo (FAA).

Balon je u nedjelju rano ujutro poletio s osam padobranaca i još pet osoba, rekao je šef policije Eloya Byron Gwaltney za KPHO, podružnicu CBS-a. Rekao je da se čini da su padobranci planirali skočiti do gradske zračne luke Eloy, koja je veliki centar za padobranstvo. Padobranci su se uspjeli spasiti iz balona prije pada.

- Nedugo nakon toga, dogodilo se nešto katastrofalno s balonom zbog čega se srušio na tlo, rekao je Gwaltney.

Policija istražuje incident zajedno s Nacionalnim odborom za sigurnost prometa (NTSB) i Federalnom upravom za avijaciju kako bi utvrdili uzrok smrtonosne nesreće. Istražitelji su u nedjelju bili na licu mjesta i pregledavali srušeni balon (Cameron Balloons A160).

- Preliminarne informacije govore da je balon udario u pustinjsko tlo nakon zasad neutvrđenog problema s omotačem, rekao je glasnogovornik NTSB-a.

Prema riječima očevidaca, zadnjih 10 sekundi rušenja balon je bio bez oblika, ispuhan i padao je ravno prema tlu, otkriva gradonačelnik Eloya,

Među poginulima je Katie Bartroom (28), medicinska sestra iz Indiane, koja se iz hobija bavila padobranstvom.

Prije nekoliko mjeseci, dvije su osobe poginule, a jedna je djevojka ozlijeđena nakon što se balon u kojem su se vozili zapalio u blizini Mexico Cityja.
