Sve veći broj zaraženih koronavirusom izvan Kine potvrđuje zabrinutost Svjetske zdravstvene organizacije (WHO) zbog opasnosti širenja epidemije, ocijenili su u nedjelju stručnjaci, pozivajući na pojačan oprez.

"Epidemija Covida-19 doživjela je zaokret u zadnjih 48 sati. WHO i njegove zemlje članice moraju sada razmisliti o tome da sa strategije suzbijanja prijeđu na strategiju smanjivanja štete, to jest ograničavanja negativnih posljedica daljnjeg prenošenja" virusa, misli profesor Devi Sridhar, voditelj programa Upravljanje u zdravstvu na medicijskom fakultetu u Edinburghu, u Velikoj Britaniji.

U petak je ravnatelj WHO-a Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus zazvonio na uzbunu: "U trenutku dok razgovaramo još možemo zaustaviti epidemiju". Ali "manevarski prostor se sužava".

Problem je napose porast broja zaraženih izvan središta epidemije u Kini "koji nisu jasno epidemiološki povezani, nisu bili na putu ni u doticaju s osobama kojima je dijagnosticirana bolest".

Tako su se zadnjih dana pojavila i razvila žarišta u Južnoj Koreji, Iranu i Italiji, gdje je u nekoliko dana zabilježeno gotovo 150 slučajeva i jedanaest gradova je u svojevrsnoj izolaciji. 

Slučajevi prijavljeni u Libanonu i Kanadi dolaze najvjerojatnije iz Irana.

Što se tiče autohtonog žarišta u Italiji, znanstvenicima je teško utvrditi tijek zaraze "prvog pacijenta" s kojeg se virus proširio.

"Ono što se događa u Italiji i u Južnoj Koreji moglo se dogoditi bilo gdje u svijetu", upozorava profesor Sridhar.

"Mislim da je ovo nova faza" u širenju Covida-19, rekao je Eric D'Ortenzio, epidemiolog u francuskom Državnom institutu za zdravlje i za medicinsko istraživanje.

Taj stručnjak upozorava da se u novim zemljama u kojima je otkriven virus događa "lančano prenošenje počevši od nepotvrđenih slučajeva", iako u očekivanju točnijih podataka umanjuje ulogu prenositelja epidemije kod asimptomatskih slučajeva.

No misli da se jasno nameće zaključak: "Nužan je pojačan oprez i vlasti moraju pooštriti nadzor", bilo da je riječ o samoniklim slučajevima ili o mogućem uvoženju virusa iz žarišta epidemije.

Novi koronavirus službenog naziva Covid-19 koji se u prosincu pojavio u kineskom gradu Wuhanu u pokrajini Hubei proširio se iz Kine na više od dvadeset zemalja i teritorija na gotovo svim kontinentima.

Prema najnovijim službenim podacima, Kina trenutno broji 76.936 oboljelih, s 2442 umrlih do subote. Većina smrtnih slučajeva je zabilježena u spomenutoj pokrajini Hubei.

Izvan Kine je zabilježeno 1500 zaraženih, većinom u Južnoj Koreji i na kruzeru "Diamond Princess" u Japanu.

Austrija ukinula blokadu željezničkog prometa prema Italiji


Austrija je u nedjelju navečer ukinula blokadu željezničkog prometa prema Italiji nakon što se pokazalo da dva putnika sa simptomima gripe nisu zaražena novim koronavirusom.

Planinski prijevoj Brenner koji povezuje dvije zemlje bio je satima zatvoren kako bi se spriječilo da zaraženi putnici uđu u Austriju.

Oko 500 putnika bilo je blokirano u vlakovima dok su se provodila testiranja dvoje putnika za koje se sumnjalo da su zaraženi koronavirusom.

Kina: Novih 150 mrtvih u epidemiji koronavirusa


Kina je u ponedjeljak izvijestila o 150 novih smrtnih slučajeva u epidemiji koronavirusa, što je novi dnevni rekord otkad se u prosincu prošle godine virus pojavio, a istodobno su kineske vlasti objavile da je 409 ljudi novozaraženo.

Od tog je broja 149 umrlih i 398 zaraženih zabilježeno u pokrajini Hubei, žarištu epidemije, navele su kineske vlasti, čime je ukupan broj zaraženih porastao na 77,152, a ukupan broj smrti na 2,592.

Unatoč velikom broju mrtvih i širenju epidemije diljem svijeta, službene statistike pokazuju trend usporavanja širenja virusa unutar Kine.

Južna Koreja je objavila da je u ponedjeljak umrla sedma zaražena osoba, dok je broj zaraženih porastao za 161 na ukupno 763. Mnogi od njih povezani su s bolnicom u gradu Cheongdou nedaleko od Daegua i vjerskom skupinom Isusovom crkvom Shincheonji, objavile su južnokorejske vlasti.

Pet ljudi umrlo je u bolnici koja je u međuvremenu izolirana kako bi se zaustavilo širenje virusa. Cheongdo i Daegu proglašeni su 'zonom posebnog opreza'.

Sve veći broj zaraženih koronavirusom izvan Kine potvrđuje zabrinutost Svjetske zdravstvene organizacije (WHO) zbog opasnosti širenja epidemije, ocijenili su u nedjelju stručnjaci, pozivajući na pojačan oprez.

"Epidemija Covida-19 doživjela je zaokret u zadnjih 48 sati. WHO i njegove zemlje članice moraju sada razmisliti o tome da sa strategije suzbijanja prijeđu na strategiju smanjivanja štete, to jest ograničavanja negativnih posljedica daljnjeg prenošenja" virusa, misli profesor Devi Sridhar, voditelj programa Upravljanje u zdravstvu na medicijskom fakultetu u Edinburghu, u Velikoj Britaniji.

U petak je ravnatelj WHO-a Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus zazvonio na uzbunu: "U trenutku dok razgovaramo još možemo zaustaviti epidemiju". Ali "manevarski prostor se sužava".

Problem je napose porast broja zaraženih izvan središta epidemije u Kini "koji nisu jasno epidemiološki povezani, nisu bili na putu ni u doticaju s osobama kojima je dijagnosticirana bolest".

Tako su se zadnjih dana pojavila i razvila žarišta u Južnoj Koreji, Iranu i Italiji, gdje je u nekoliko dana zabilježeno gotovo 150 slučajeva i jedanaest gradova je u svojevrsnoj izolaciji. 

Slučajevi prijavljeni u Libanonu i Kanadi dolaze najvjerojatnije iz Irana.

Što se tiče autohtonog žarišta u Italiji, znanstvenicima je teško utvrditi tijek zaraze "prvog pacijenta" s kojeg se virus proširio.

"Ono što se događa u Italiji i u Južnoj Koreji moglo se dogoditi bilo gdje u svijetu", upozorava profesor Sridhar.

"Mislim da je ovo nova faza" u širenju Covida-19, rekao je Eric D'Ortenzio, epidemiolog u francuskom Državnom institutu za zdravlje i za medicinsko istraživanje.

Taj stručnjak upozorava da se u novim zemljama u kojima je otkriven virus događa "lančano prenošenje počevši od nepotvrđenih slučajeva", iako u očekivanju točnijih podataka umanjuje ulogu prenositelja epidemije kod asimptomatskih slučajeva.

No misli da se jasno nameće zaključak: "Nužan je pojačan oprez i vlasti moraju pooštriti nadzor", bilo da je riječ o samoniklim slučajevima ili o mogućem uvoženju virusa iz žarišta epidemije.

Novi koronavirus službenog naziva Covid-19 koji se u prosincu pojavio u kineskom gradu Wuhanu u pokrajini Hubei proširio se iz Kine na više od dvadeset zemalja i teritorija na gotovo svim kontinentima.

Prema najnovijim službenim podacima, Kina trenutno broji 76.936 oboljelih, s 2442 umrlih do subote. Većina smrtnih slučajeva je zabilježena u spomenutoj pokrajini Hubei.

Izvan Kine je zabilježeno 1500 zaraženih, većinom u Južnoj Koreji i na kruzeru "Diamond Princess" u Japanu.

Austrija ukinula blokadu željezničkog prometa prema Italiji


Austrija je u nedjelju navečer ukinula blokadu željezničkog prometa prema Italiji nakon što se pokazalo da dva putnika sa simptomima gripe nisu zaražena novim koronavirusom.

Planinski prijevoj Brenner koji povezuje dvije zemlje bio je satima zatvoren kako bi se spriječilo da zaraženi putnici uđu u Austriju.

Oko 500 putnika bilo je blokirano u vlakovima dok su se provodila testiranja dvoje putnika za koje se sumnjalo da su zaraženi koronavirusom.

Kina: Novih 150 mrtvih u epidemiji koronavirusa


Kina je u ponedjeljak izvijestila o 150 novih smrtnih slučajeva u epidemiji koronavirusa, što je novi dnevni rekord otkad se u prosincu prošle godine virus pojavio, a istodobno su kineske vlasti objavile da je 409 ljudi novozaraženo.

Od tog je broja 149 umrlih i 398 zaraženih zabilježeno u pokrajini Hubei, žarištu epidemije, navele su kineske vlasti, čime je ukupan broj zaraženih porastao na 77,152, a ukupan broj smrti na 2,592.

Unatoč velikom broju mrtvih i širenju epidemije diljem svijeta, službene statistike pokazuju trend usporavanja širenja virusa unutar Kine.

Južna Koreja je objavila da je u ponedjeljak umrla sedma zaražena osoba, dok je broj zaraženih porastao za 161 na ukupno 763. Mnogi od njih povezani su s bolnicom u gradu Cheongdou nedaleko od Daegua i vjerskom skupinom Isusovom crkvom Shincheonji, objavile su južnokorejske vlasti.

Pet ljudi umrlo je u bolnici koja je u međuvremenu izolirana kako bi se zaustavilo širenje virusa. Cheongdo i Daegu proglašeni su 'zonom posebnog opreza'.

Sve veći broj zaraženih koronavirusom izvan Kine potvrđuje zabrinutost Svjetske zdravstvene organizacije (WHO) zbog opasnosti širenja epidemije, ocijenili su u nedjelju stručnjaci, pozivajući na pojačan oprez.

"Epidemija Covida-19 doživjela je zaokret u zadnjih 48 sati. WHO i njegove zemlje članice moraju sada razmisliti o tome da sa strategije suzbijanja prijeđu na strategiju smanjivanja štete, to jest ograničavanja negativnih posljedica daljnjeg prenošenja" virusa, misli profesor Devi Sridhar, voditelj programa Upravljanje u zdravstvu na medicijskom fakultetu u Edinburghu, u Velikoj Britaniji.

U petak je ravnatelj WHO-a Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus zazvonio na uzbunu: "U trenutku dok razgovaramo još možemo zaustaviti epidemiju". Ali "manevarski prostor se sužava".
