Da je BiH država s najmanje tri istine, odavno se zna. No, da se činjenice ponekad uporno izbjegavaju čak i u odgovorima na pitanje na kojoj strani svijeta izlazi sunce, je li Papa katolik, i ima li zmija rep - previše je čak i za takvu trojednu državu, kronično umornu od povijesti.

‘Na današnji dan urušio se Stari most u Mostaru‘ – kočio se jučer (komemorativni) naslov na nekim, nimalo istinoljubivim, BiH portalima.

Ako se nešto ‘urušilo‘, to podrazumijeva da je palo samo od sebe. I to nakon što je kroz duge godine bivalo nagrizano zubom vremena ili djelovanjem kakve prirodne ili elementarne nepogode. ‘Urušavanje‘ je obično djelovanje bez subjekta i ikakve objektivne krivnje. Naslov s takvim glagolom ne sugerira nikakvu moralnu katarzu i pokajništvo, niti potiče na razmišljanje da je sve, možda, moglo ispasti drugačije. Što je najgore, punih 30 godina nakon događaja, takva poruka uporno pokušava sakriti općepoznatu istinu.

Nakon što su ih sami čitatelji upozorili da takvim naslovom pokušavaju poreći bjelodanu činjenicu da je Stari most u Mostaru srušen ratnim djelovanjem snaga HVO-a, neki od BiH portala su zabašurujuće naslove ipak naposljetku promijenili u "Stari most je srušen na današnji dan…"

Mnogi maliciozni reinterpretatori ratnih zbivanja često se pozivaju na Haašku presudu Prliću i ostalima pri tvrdnji da hrvatske snage nisu srušile mostarski Stari most. Ova haaška presuda, međutim, to nigdje ni jednim slovom ne tvrdi: njome je samo odbačena krivnja za ratni zločin uništenja kulturnog spomenika, jer je mostarski most majstora Hajrudina u ratnim okolnostima, premda je bio itekako star i vrijedan, u Haagu protumačen legitimnim vojnim ciljem.

No, valjda je i najtvrđim zagovornicima tekovina ‘HZ Herceg-Bosne‘ puno referentniji povijesni izvor hrvatski vrhovnik dr. Franjo Tuđman, nego sud u Haagu. Samo dan po rušenju mostarskog mosta, 10. studenoga 1993., utemeljitelj HDZ-a i moderne Hrvatske razgovarao je s hercegovačkom delegacijom o tom nemilom događaju i o tome razgovoru su sačuvani originalni transkripti.

Mate Boban (predsjednik HZ Herceg-Bosne), Perica Jukić (tadašnji ministar obrane), Mate Granić (ministar vanjskih poslova) i Jadranko Prlić (predsjednik Vlade HZ HB) razmatrali su s vrhovnikom hitno saniranje moguće diplomatske štete.

Tuđman: Dobro, usput, taj mostarski most, tko ga je porušio?

Mate Boban: On je - bile su strašne kiše - toliko pucan prije, tako da je sam pao.

Tuđman: Hoćemo li opet mi biti optuženi?

Boban: Jutros se govori da se ne zna.

Tuđman: Inače, među nama, rušenje u vojnom pogledu, kome ide više u korist?

Mate Boban: Nama.

Za rušenje Starog mosta naknadno se i javno i u Haagu izravno teretilo tadašnjeg zapovjednika HVO-a Slobodana Praljka. Praljak je o rušenju mosta napisao i knjigu "Kako je srušen Stari most: činjenice" u kojoj je s trojicom stručnjaka napravio i ekspertnu analizu rušenja mosta, te uporno pokušavao zanijekati vlastitu krivnju.

Zbog optužbi da je srušio Stari most pisao je više puta i tadašnjem predsjedniku Franji Tuđmanu, te ga preklinjao da ga primi kako bi mu iz prve ruke objasnio svoju ulogu u svemu, no Tuđman ga je hladno odbio. Štoviše, prvi hrvatski predsjednik je u dva navrata u razgovorima o zbivanjima u BiH iznio tvrdnju da je Slobodan Praljak kao zapovjednik HVO-a odgovoran za rušenje Staroga mosta u Mostaru.

Da je BiH država s najmanje tri istine, odavno se zna. No, da se činjenice ponekad uporno izbjegavaju čak i u odgovorima na pitanje na kojoj strani svijeta izlazi sunce, je li Papa katolik, i ima li zmija rep - previše je čak i za takvu trojednu državu, kronično umornu od povijesti.

‘Na današnji dan urušio se Stari most u Mostaru‘ – kočio se jučer (komemorativni) naslov na nekim, nimalo istinoljubivim, BiH portalima.

Ako se nešto ‘urušilo‘, to podrazumijeva da je palo samo od sebe. I to nakon što je kroz duge godine bivalo nagrizano zubom vremena ili djelovanjem kakve prirodne ili elementarne nepogode. ‘Urušavanje‘ je obično djelovanje bez subjekta i ikakve objektivne krivnje. Naslov s takvim glagolom ne sugerira nikakvu moralnu katarzu i pokajništvo, niti potiče na razmišljanje da je sve, možda, moglo ispasti drugačije. Što je najgore, punih 30 godina nakon događaja, takva poruka uporno pokušava sakriti općepoznatu istinu.

Nakon što su ih sami čitatelji upozorili da takvim naslovom pokušavaju poreći bjelodanu činjenicu da je Stari most u Mostaru srušen ratnim djelovanjem snaga HVO-a, neki od BiH portala su zabašurujuće naslove ipak naposljetku promijenili u "Stari most je srušen na današnji dan…"

Mnogi maliciozni reinterpretatori ratnih zbivanja često se pozivaju na Haašku presudu Prliću i ostalima pri tvrdnji da hrvatske snage nisu srušile mostarski Stari most. Ova haaška presuda, međutim, to nigdje ni jednim slovom ne tvrdi: njome je samo odbačena krivnja za ratni zločin uništenja kulturnog spomenika, jer je mostarski most majstora Hajrudina u ratnim okolnostima, premda je bio itekako star i vrijedan, u Haagu protumačen legitimnim vojnim ciljem.

No, valjda je i najtvrđim zagovornicima tekovina ‘HZ Herceg-Bosne‘ puno referentniji povijesni izvor hrvatski vrhovnik dr. Franjo Tuđman, nego sud u Haagu. Samo dan po rušenju mostarskog mosta, 10. studenoga 1993., utemeljitelj HDZ-a i moderne Hrvatske razgovarao je s hercegovačkom delegacijom o tom nemilom događaju i o tome razgovoru su sačuvani originalni transkripti.

Mate Boban (predsjednik HZ Herceg-Bosne), Perica Jukić (tadašnji ministar obrane), Mate Granić (ministar vanjskih poslova) i Jadranko Prlić (predsjednik Vlade HZ HB) razmatrali su s vrhovnikom hitno saniranje moguće diplomatske štete.

Tuđman: Dobro, usput, taj mostarski most, tko ga je porušio?

Mate Boban: On je - bile su strašne kiše - toliko pucan prije, tako da je sam pao.

Tuđman: Hoćemo li opet mi biti optuženi?

Boban: Jutros se govori da se ne zna.

Tuđman: Inače, među nama, rušenje u vojnom pogledu, kome ide više u korist?

Mate Boban: Nama.

Za rušenje Starog mosta naknadno se i javno i u Haagu izravno teretilo tadašnjeg zapovjednika HVO-a Slobodana Praljka. Praljak je o rušenju mosta napisao i knjigu "Kako je srušen Stari most: činjenice" u kojoj je s trojicom stručnjaka napravio i ekspertnu analizu rušenja mosta, te uporno pokušavao zanijekati vlastitu krivnju.

Zbog optužbi da je srušio Stari most pisao je više puta i tadašnjem predsjedniku Franji Tuđmanu, te ga preklinjao da ga primi kako bi mu iz prve ruke objasnio svoju ulogu u svemu, no Tuđman ga je hladno odbio. Štoviše, prvi hrvatski predsjednik je u dva navrata u razgovorima o zbivanjima u BiH iznio tvrdnju da je Slobodan Praljak kao zapovjednik HVO-a odgovoran za rušenje Staroga mosta u Mostaru.
