U trenutku kada rat u Ukrajini dovodi do porasta već visokih cijena energenata, Albanija je krenula s planiranjem "nove Hooverove brane" koja bi joj omogućila da postane energetski neovisnija, piše The Telegraph, a prenosi Jutarnji list.

Brana Skavica na rijeci Drim trebala bi koštati oko 500 milijuna eura, a njezina izgradnja trebala bi trajati pet godina. Projekt bi albanski sustav hidroelektrana trebao učiniti manje ovisnim o vremenu. Porast troškova života u Albaniji do kojeg je došlo zbog rata u Ukrajini i sankcija koje je Zapad nametnuo Rusiji natjerao je brojne Albance da izađu na ulice i prosvjeduju protiv aktualne vlasti. Albanija se trenutno suočava s velikom nestašicom hrane te sve češćim nestancima struje, a država je najavila da će pokušati uštedjeti tako što će planski gasiti struju diljem zemlje, što uključuje i gašenje javne rasvjete.

Albanija se u pripremanje najvećeg građevinskog projekta od 1991. godine dala u trenutku kada Zapad, Europa i Zapadni Balkan pokušavaju smanjiti ovisnost o ruskom prirodnom plinu.

Brana bi proizvodnju energije u Albaniji trebala povećati za 20 posto, a postoji nada da će joj ona omogućiti i da postane izvoznik tzv. čiste energije.

"Skavica je najizazovniji i najdivniji projekt koji moramo realizirati kako bismo manje ovisili o uvozu", rekla je ministrica energije i infrastrukture Belinda Balluku. "Želimo stvoriti energetsku sigurnost i smanjiti ovisnost o ruskom plinu i drugim izvorima. Cilj nam je Albaniju iz zemlje uvoznice pretvoriti u zemlju izvoznicu."

Albanske vlasti predvođene premijerom Edijem Ramom i Socijalističkom strankom poslove provođenja studija i stvaranja prijedloga za izgradnju brane povjerile su Bechtelu, najvećoj američkoj građevinskoj i inženjerskoj tvrtki koja je 1930-ih bila dio konzorcija koji je izgradio Hooverovu branu, prenosi Jutarnji. 

"Hooverova je brana tada bila transformativna. Skavica je projekt slične veličine", rekla je Entela Ruci, upraviteljica za razvoj poslovanja na Balkanu u Bechtelu.

Sva struja koju Albanija trenutno proizvodi obnovljiva je i većina se stvara pomoću hidroelektrana. Ostatak se proizvodi pomoći vjetroelektrana i solarnih elektrana.

Albanija tijekom kišnih godina može namiriti 70 posto svojih energetskih potreba. Ta brojka pada na 60 posto kada se radi o suhim godinama. Zemlja je iskusila tri uzastopne suhe godine, što je dovelo do pada proizvodnje struje i povećanog uvoza iste u vrijeme rekordno visokih cijena. Cijena megavatsata u Albaniji trenutno iznosi oko 66 tisuća leka (nešto više od 4100 kuna), a albanska kućanstva i tvrtke gotovo u potpunosti ovise o struji. Usporedbe radi, prošle je godine megavatsat struje koštao oko 6200 leka (390 kuna). Albanski premijer Rama ranije je u ožujku rekao da će država kućanstvima i malim tvrtkama nastaviti plaćati 80 posto računa za struju.

Skavica će moći proizvesti 210 megavata, a pomoći će pri optimizaciji drugih brana koje trenutno mogu proizvoditi 1350 megavata. Skavica će omogućiti pohranu i kontrolu dotoka vode drugim branama, što znači da će one moći proizvoditi struju i nakon suhih sezona, a i pružat će zaštitu od poplava. "Skavica će pohranjivati vodu kako bismo tijekom ljeta imali energije", rekla je Balluku.

Točna veličina brane bit će poznata nakon što se obave istraživanja, no zna se da će biti izgrađena od betona. Brana će se nalaziti u planinama, a Drim će se morati preusmjeravati dok se bude gradila.

Predviđa se da će projekt izgradnje brane pozitivno utjecati na stvaranje novih poslova, turizam i poljoprivredu.

Britanski premijer Boris Johnson ovog je tjedna rekao da se Zapad treba okrenuti obnovljivim izvorima energije kako bi se odviknuo od ruskih nafte i plina. Britanski ambasador u Albaniji Alastair King-Smith pozvao je da Albanija i Ujedinjeno Kraljevstvo prodube svoje poslovne veze. King-Smith drži da albansko tržište "velika prilika" za britanske tvrtke, prenosi Jutarnji list.

U trenutku kada rat u Ukrajini dovodi do porasta već visokih cijena energenata, Albanija je krenula s planiranjem "nove Hooverove brane" koja bi joj omogućila da postane energetski neovisnija, piše The Telegraph, a prenosi Jutarnji list.

Brana Skavica na rijeci Drim trebala bi koštati oko 500 milijuna eura, a njezina izgradnja trebala bi trajati pet godina. Projekt bi albanski sustav hidroelektrana trebao učiniti manje ovisnim o vremenu. Porast troškova života u Albaniji do kojeg je došlo zbog rata u Ukrajini i sankcija koje je Zapad nametnuo Rusiji natjerao je brojne Albance da izađu na ulice i prosvjeduju protiv aktualne vlasti. Albanija se trenutno suočava s velikom nestašicom hrane te sve češćim nestancima struje, a država je najavila da će pokušati uštedjeti tako što će planski gasiti struju diljem zemlje, što uključuje i gašenje javne rasvjete.

Albanija se u pripremanje najvećeg građevinskog projekta od 1991. godine dala u trenutku kada Zapad, Europa i Zapadni Balkan pokušavaju smanjiti ovisnost o ruskom prirodnom plinu.

Brana bi proizvodnju energije u Albaniji trebala povećati za 20 posto, a postoji nada da će joj ona omogućiti i da postane izvoznik tzv. čiste energije.

"Skavica je najizazovniji i najdivniji projekt koji moramo realizirati kako bismo manje ovisili o uvozu", rekla je ministrica energije i infrastrukture Belinda Balluku. "Želimo stvoriti energetsku sigurnost i smanjiti ovisnost o ruskom plinu i drugim izvorima. Cilj nam je Albaniju iz zemlje uvoznice pretvoriti u zemlju izvoznicu."

Albanske vlasti predvođene premijerom Edijem Ramom i Socijalističkom strankom poslove provođenja studija i stvaranja prijedloga za izgradnju brane povjerile su Bechtelu, najvećoj američkoj građevinskoj i inženjerskoj tvrtki koja je 1930-ih bila dio konzorcija koji je izgradio Hooverovu branu, prenosi Jutarnji. 

"Hooverova je brana tada bila transformativna. Skavica je projekt slične veličine", rekla je Entela Ruci, upraviteljica za razvoj poslovanja na Balkanu u Bechtelu.

Sva struja koju Albanija trenutno proizvodi obnovljiva je i većina se stvara pomoću hidroelektrana. Ostatak se proizvodi pomoći vjetroelektrana i solarnih elektrana.

Albanija tijekom kišnih godina može namiriti 70 posto svojih energetskih potreba. Ta brojka pada na 60 posto kada se radi o suhim godinama. Zemlja je iskusila tri uzastopne suhe godine, što je dovelo do pada proizvodnje struje i povećanog uvoza iste u vrijeme rekordno visokih cijena. Cijena megavatsata u Albaniji trenutno iznosi oko 66 tisuća leka (nešto više od 4100 kuna), a albanska kućanstva i tvrtke gotovo u potpunosti ovise o struji. Usporedbe radi, prošle je godine megavatsat struje koštao oko 6200 leka (390 kuna). Albanski premijer Rama ranije je u ožujku rekao da će država kućanstvima i malim tvrtkama nastaviti plaćati 80 posto računa za struju.

Skavica će moći proizvesti 210 megavata, a pomoći će pri optimizaciji drugih brana koje trenutno mogu proizvoditi 1350 megavata. Skavica će omogućiti pohranu i kontrolu dotoka vode drugim branama, što znači da će one moći proizvoditi struju i nakon suhih sezona, a i pružat će zaštitu od poplava. "Skavica će pohranjivati vodu kako bismo tijekom ljeta imali energije", rekla je Balluku.

Točna veličina brane bit će poznata nakon što se obave istraživanja, no zna se da će biti izgrađena od betona. Brana će se nalaziti u planinama, a Drim će se morati preusmjeravati dok se bude gradila.

Predviđa se da će projekt izgradnje brane pozitivno utjecati na stvaranje novih poslova, turizam i poljoprivredu.

Britanski premijer Boris Johnson ovog je tjedna rekao da se Zapad treba okrenuti obnovljivim izvorima energije kako bi se odviknuo od ruskih nafte i plina. Britanski ambasador u Albaniji Alastair King-Smith pozvao je da Albanija i Ujedinjeno Kraljevstvo prodube svoje poslovne veze. King-Smith drži da albansko tržište "velika prilika" za britanske tvrtke, prenosi Jutarnji list.

Infrastrukturni div u siromašnoj državi na Balkanu: ‘Gradimo novu Hooverovu branu i Rusima poručujemo - zbogom!‘

U trenutku kada rat u Ukrajini dovodi do porasta već visokih cijena energenata, Albanija je krenula s planiranjem "nove Hooverove brane" koja bi joj omogućila da postane energetski neovisnija, piše The Telegraph, a prenosi Jutarnji list.

Brana Skavica na rijeci Drim trebala bi koštati oko 500 milijuna eura, a njezina izgradnja trebala bi trajati pet godina. Projekt bi albanski sustav hidroelektrana trebao učiniti manje ovisnim o vremenu. Porast troškova života u Albaniji do kojeg je došlo zbog rata u Ukrajini i sankcija koje je Zapad nametnuo Rusiji natjerao je brojne Albance da izađu na ulice i prosvjeduju protiv aktualne vlasti. Albanija se trenutno suočava s velikom nestašicom hrane te sve češćim nestancima struje, a država je najavila da će pokušati uštedjeti tako...
