Državno izborno povjerenstvo (DIP) zabranilo je mogućnost glasanja od kuće zaraženima od koronavirusa, dok je to istovremeno omogućilo osobama u samoizolaciji koje su također rizične. Gong upozorava kako se radi o uskraćivanju temeljnog političkog i ustavnog prava.

- Ova nedosljednost uz pitanje nužnosti otvara i pitanje sposobnosti mjere da ostvari svoj primarni cilj zaštite života i zdravlja. Naime, zarazu bi teoretski mogli proširiti i oni u samoizolaciji pa se postavlja pitanje jesu li se u ovom slučaju bezrazložno ograničila prava zaraženima, upozoravaju iz Gonga te poručuju:

- Javnost treba znati na temelju kojeg zakona je zaraženima od koronavirusa oduzeto biračko pravo, s obzirom na to da hrvatski propisi ne poznaju kategoriju oduzimanja biračkog prava pa tako nije ni definiran postupak kojim bi se to pravo nekome oduzelo.

Dodatno, budući da zakon ne predviđa glasanje u bolnicama, svi građani i građanke na bolničkom liječenju, ne samo oni oboljeli od koronavirusa, bit će zakinuti za svoje ustavno pravo glasanja.

Gong je zagovarao obvezna biračka mjesta u svim bolnicama i domovima umirovljenika, kao i uvođenje dopisnog, poštanskog glasanja kako bi se izbjegle ovakve diskriminacije.

Državno izborno povjerenstvo (DIP) zabranilo je mogućnost glasanja od kuće zaraženima od koronavirusa, dok je to istovremeno omogućilo osobama u samoizolaciji koje su također rizične. Gong upozorava kako se radi o uskraćivanju temeljnog političkog i ustavnog prava.

- Ova nedosljednost uz pitanje nužnosti otvara i pitanje sposobnosti mjere da ostvari svoj primarni cilj zaštite života i zdravlja. Naime, zarazu bi teoretski mogli proširiti i oni u samoizolaciji pa se postavlja pitanje jesu li se u ovom slučaju bezrazložno ograničila prava zaraženima, upozoravaju iz Gonga te poručuju:

- Javnost treba znati na temelju kojeg zakona je zaraženima od koronavirusa oduzeto biračko pravo, s obzirom na to da hrvatski propisi ne poznaju kategoriju oduzimanja biračkog prava pa tako nije ni definiran postupak kojim bi se to pravo nekome oduzelo.

Dodatno, budući da zakon ne predviđa glasanje u bolnicama, svi građani i građanke na bolničkom liječenju, ne samo oni oboljeli od koronavirusa, bit će zakinuti za svoje ustavno pravo glasanja.

Gong je zagovarao obvezna biračka mjesta u svim bolnicama i domovima umirovljenika, kao i uvođenje dopisnog, poštanskog glasanja kako bi se izbjegle ovakve diskriminacije.
