Filip Jurišić će jedriti u „medal raceu“ na Svjetskom prvenstvu u klasi ILCA 7 u Adelaideu, ali do medalje s 10. mjesta ne može doći, niti može nešto značajnije popraviti plasman, dok je Tonči Stipanović završio na 17. mjestu. To je epilog petog dana prvenstva, drugog u Zlatnoj skupini, a uoči plova za medalje. Inače, medalje su već podijeljene, znaju se trojica osvajača – Matt Wearn, Hermann Tomasgaard i Mickey Beckett, a treba vidjeti tko će koju uzeti. - Ponavljam to od početka, presudit će posljednji dan u Hyeresu – na tu se temu referirao njihov trener Jozo Jakelić.

Drugo Svjetsko prvenstvo u nizu bez medalje za jedriličare Mornara (uključujući Pavlosa Kontidesa, koji je na 7. mjestu) jest – neobično.

- Nisam u depresiji zbog toga, ali je činjenica da smo „popušili“ – slikovit je Jakelić. – Opet, u olimpijskoj godini nismo bili spremni na neke kompromise zbog Svjetskog prvenstva.

Reći će i sljedeće:

- Nismo bili toliko loši, koliko su rezultati loši – nakon čega se nasmijao sam sebi i onome što je izgovorio.

Nema problema, pojasnit će:

- Danas je, na primjer, bio poseban dan. Od neobičnog vala, preko hrpe trave do vjetra blizu 30 čvorova. Zapravo, što se vjetra tiče, takav je bio skoro svaki dan. Danas, tko god je uletio u travu, prevrtao se. Filip dvaput u prvoj regati, Tonči dvaput u drugoj regati. Zato je i završio na 51. mjestu. Filip je imao sudar u drugoj regati.

Što se tiče spomenutih „kompromisa“ oni se odnose na kilograme jedriličara, mornarevci su ostali na svojih 83, 84 kilograma za razliku od drugih koji su se „bildali“ do 90 i više upravo zbog specifičnosti regatnog polja u Adelaideu.

- Druga stvar koju mi nismo imali, a konkurenti jesu, jest vrijeme provedeno u Adelaideu. Mi jesmo odradili vrhunske pripreme u studenom i prosincu na Gran Canariji, to je najbolje mjesto u Europi, no svi ostali su od sredine prosinca bili ovdje. Mi nemamo novaca doći u Adelaide više od mjesec dana ranije. Tu su oni stekli stratešku prednost, upoznali su regatno polje bolje od nas. Kako to obično biva, uvjeti pod kojima smo trenirali od dolaska, promijenili su se kad je počela regata.

I nije to sada opravdavanje. Jakeliću je ionako u glavi samo olimpijska regata.

- Svjetsko prvenstvo će biti i sljedeće godine, Olimpijske igre tek za četiri godine. Prioriteti se znaju.

Po povratku u Split odmora nema. Barem za njega i Stipanovića. Oni će sigurno u Atenu na Europsko prvenstvo (od 18. do 23. veljače), za ostale se još ne zna.

- Tonči želi u Ateni i želi šesti put postati europski prvak, za sada on i Paul Goodison imaju po pet titula. Ja ga u tome podržavam, makar sam svjestan da nije pametno ići tamo u to vrijeme. Mislim da puno jedriličara neće ići tamo, ali on ima poseban cilj.

Filip Jurišić će jedriti u „medal raceu“ na Svjetskom prvenstvu u klasi ILCA 7 u Adelaideu, ali do medalje s 10. mjesta ne može doći, niti može nešto značajnije popraviti plasman, dok je Tonči Stipanović završio na 17. mjestu. Pritom, prilično je izvjesno da će aktualni olimpijski pobjednik i aktualni svjetski prvak Wearn znati zadržati prvu poziciju u koju ulazi s 8 bodova prednosti u odnosu na Tomasgaarda i devet u odnosu na Becketta.

Posljednjeg dana je Jurišić ostvario rezultate 15 i 26, a Stipanović 9 i 51 (posljednje mjesto uslijed dva prevrtanja). Dakle, Jurišić ne može biti slabiji od 10. mjesta i to znači da je već sada stvorio prednost u odnosu na Stipanovića od najmanje 6 bodova nakon druge kriterijske regate u njihovoj internoj borbi za predstavljanje Hrvatske na Olimpijskim igrama ovoga ljeta. Jurišić ima 32 boda, Stipanović 38, a treća kriterijska regata bit će u Hyeresu krajem travnja. Računat će im se dva najbolja rezultata, vrlo jednostavno.

- Ponavljam to od početka, presudit će posljednji dan u Hyeresu – na tu se temu referirao njihov trener Jozo Jakelić.

Drugo Svjetsko prvenstvo u nizu bez medalje za jedriličare Mornara (uključujući Pavlosa Kontidesa, koji je na 7. mjestu) jest – neobično.

- Nisam u depresiji zbog toga, ali je činjenica da smo „popušili“ – slikovit je Jakelić. – Opet, u olimpijskoj godini nismo bili spremni na neke kompromise zbog Svjetskog prvenstva.

Reći će i sljedeće:

- Nismo bili toliko loši, koliko su rezultati loši – nakon čega se nasmijao sam sebi i onome što je izgovorio.

Nema problema, pojasnit će:

- Danas je, na primjer, bio poseban dan. Od neobičnog vala, preko hrpe trave do vjetra blizu 30 čvorova. Zapravo, što se vjetra tiče, takav je bio skoro svaki dan. Danas, tko god je uletio u travu, prevrtao se. Filip dvaput u prvoj regati, Tonči dvaput u drugoj regati. Zato je i završio na 51. mjestu. Filip je imao sudar u drugoj regati.

Što se tiče spomenutih „kompromisa“ oni se odnose na kilograme jedriličara, mornarevci su ostali na svojih 83, 84 kilograma za razliku od drugih koji su se „bildali“ do 90 i više upravo zbog specifičnosti regatnog polja u Adelaideu.

- Druga stvar koju mi nismo imali, a konkurenti jesu, jest vrijeme provedeno u Adelaideu. Mi jesmo odradili vrhunske pripreme u studenom i prosincu na Gran Canariji, to je najbolje mjesto u Europi, no svi ostali su od sredine prosinca bili ovdje. Mi nemamo novaca doći u Adelaide više od mjesec dana ranije. Tu su oni stekli stratešku prednost, upoznali su regatno polje bolje od nas. Kako to obično biva, uvjeti pod kojima smo trenirali od dolaska, promijenili su se kad je počela regata.

I nije to sada opravdavanje. Jakeliću je ionako u glavi samo olimpijska regata.

- Svjetsko prvenstvo će biti i sljedeće godine, Olimpijske igre tek za četiri godine. Prioriteti se znaju.

Po povratku u Split odmora nema. Barem za njega i Stipanovića. Oni će sigurno u Atenu na Europsko prvenstvo (od 18. do 23. veljače), za ostale se još ne zna.

- Tonči želi u Ateni i želi šesti put postati europski prvak, za sada on i Paul Goodison imaju po pet titula. Ja ga u tome podržavam, makar sam svjestan da nije pametno ići tamo u to vrijeme. Mislim da puno jedriličara neće ići tamo, ali on ima poseban cilj.

Filip Jurišić će jedriti u „medal raceu“ na Svjetskom prvenstvu u klasi ILCA 7 u Adelaideu, ali do medalje s 10. mjesta ne može doći, niti može nešto značajnije popraviti plasman, dok je Tonči Stipanović završio na 17. mjestu. To je epilog petog dana prvenstva, drugog u Zlatnoj skupini, a uoči plova za medalje. Inače, medalje su već podijeljene, znaju se trojica osvajača – Matt Wearn, Hermann Tomasgaard i Mickey Beckett, a treba vidjeti tko će koju uzeti.
