Iako je lijepo posjedovati vlastiti dom, s time dolazi i određena odgovornost. Stanodavci koji iznajmljuju stanove obično su zaduženi za sve popravke unutar stana, od onih najmanjih pa do mijenjanja cijevi. To sve, naravno, ima svoju cijenu koja obično nije mala, a da ne govorimo o sve težem i mukotrpnijem zadatku pronalaska pravih majstora koje nećete morati čekati tjednima, piše Dom i Dizajn.

Vlastiti dom zahtjeva redovno održavanje, od kuhinje do kupaonice, uvijek postoje neki dijelovi o kojima morate voditi brigu kako bi što dulje ostali funkcionalni i kako biste se poštedjeli velikih računa.

Jedna čitateljica je s portalom Apartment Therapy nedavno podijelila svoju muku kao novi vlasnik doma. Kako sama kaže nakon što se uselila u novi dom, nije uopće vodila posebnu brigu o nekim detaljima poput slavina, cijevi ili ventila jer jednostavno nije mislila da to treba, sve do trenutka kada je krenula s preuređenjem svoje u kupaonice.

S obzirom da je u njezinoj kupaonici bila stara slavina s niskim grlom, čitateljica je odlučila zamijeniti ju s jednom modernijom i elegantnijom. - Internet me uvjeravao da u potpunosti mogu napraviti tu zamjenu. Skupila sam svoje alate, pripremila YouTube videozapise i spustila se ispod umivaonika kako bih se bacila na posao – prepričava čitateljica.

Iako je bila željna i voljna da sve obavi sama, ipak nije daleko stigla. Tko god je ikada mijenjao bilo koju slavinu u domu vrlo dobro zna da je prvi korak lokalno isključivanje vode. To je značilo posegnuti ispod umivaonika i okrenuti dva ventila za zatvaranje - jedan za vruće, jedan za hladno - tako da budu potpuno blokirani i da nikakva voda ne može doći od glavnog vodovoda do umivaonika. Čitateljica je pustila vodu u umovaoniku tako da u stvarnom vremenu ima povratnu informaciju o svom napretku. Okrenula je ručicu koja je kontrolirala lijevi ventil, koji se isključio bez problema. Zatim je okrenula ručicu za desni ventil sve dok više nije mogla, ali voda je i dalje tekla.

Prepričava kako je više od dva sata petljala oko dvije ručke, koristeći svoje ruke, gumene trake za držanje, kliješta, prskajući WD-40 da pokuša zatvoriti ventil, ali neuspješno. Na kraju je odustala i pozvala vodoinstalatera. Srećom, on je brzo stigao, a još brže riješio problem. Ispostavilo se da su zaporni ventili u 65 godina staroj kući s vremenom postali ljepljivi, što je čest problem kod starijih domova. Račun je iznosio negdje oko 1000 kuna da bi vodoinstalater zamijenio stare ventile novima koji bi se učinkovito otvarali i zatvarali kad ih okrenete.

Dok je radio, vodoinstalater je čitateljici otkrio tajnu: ovaj skupi posjet mogao se izbjeći tako da se ventili za zatvaranje ispod umivaonika s vremena na vrijeme potpuno otvore i zatvore - posao koji traje doslovno nekoliko sekundi. Malo rastezanje tih ventila pomaže u sprječavanju nakupljanja minerala koji dovode do stvrdnjavanja u budućnosti.

Funkcionalni zaporni ventili nisu važni samo kada je u pitanju obnova doma, kao kod čitateljice, u slučaju nužde – pokvaren vodokotlić, puknuće cijevi, začepljen umivaonik - zaporni ventili vam pomažu da prekinete dovod vode do oštećenog uređaja.

Stoga, kad se slučajno sjetite svojih ventila dajte ima malo pozornosti. Ovaj postupak bi vam mogao uštedjeti stotine kuna za posjet vodoinstalatera — ili čak tisuće za popravak štete od vode, piše Dom i Dizajn.

Iako je lijepo posjedovati vlastiti dom, s time dolazi i određena odgovornost. Stanodavci koji iznajmljuju stanove obično su zaduženi za sve popravke unutar stana, od onih najmanjih pa do mijenjanja cijevi. To sve, naravno, ima svoju cijenu koja obično nije mala, a da ne govorimo o sve težem i mukotrpnijem zadatku pronalaska pravih majstora koje nećete morati čekati tjednima, piše Dom i Dizajn.

Vlastiti dom zahtjeva redovno održavanje, od kuhinje do kupaonice, uvijek postoje neki dijelovi o kojima morate voditi brigu kako bi što dulje ostali funkcionalni i kako biste se poštedjeli velikih računa.

Jedna čitateljica je s portalom Apartment Therapy nedavno podijelila svoju muku kao novi vlasnik doma. Kako sama kaže nakon što se uselila u novi dom, nije uopće vodila posebnu brigu o nekim detaljima poput slavina, cijevi ili ventila jer jednostavno nije mislila da to treba, sve do trenutka kada je krenula s preuređenjem svoje u kupaonice.

S obzirom da je u njezinoj kupaonici bila stara slavina s niskim grlom, čitateljica je odlučila zamijeniti ju s jednom modernijom i elegantnijom. - Internet me uvjeravao da u potpunosti mogu napraviti tu zamjenu. Skupila sam svoje alate, pripremila YouTube videozapise i spustila se ispod umivaonika kako bih se bacila na posao – prepričava čitateljica.

Iako je bila željna i voljna da sve obavi sama, ipak nije daleko stigla. Tko god je ikada mijenjao bilo koju slavinu u domu vrlo dobro zna da je prvi korak lokalno isključivanje vode. To je značilo posegnuti ispod umivaonika i okrenuti dva ventila za zatvaranje - jedan za vruće, jedan za hladno - tako da budu potpuno blokirani i da nikakva voda ne može doći od glavnog vodovoda do umivaonika. Čitateljica je pustila vodu u umovaoniku tako da u stvarnom vremenu ima povratnu informaciju o svom napretku. Okrenula je ručicu koja je kontrolirala lijevi ventil, koji se isključio bez problema. Zatim je okrenula ručicu za desni ventil sve dok više nije mogla, ali voda je i dalje tekla.

Prepričava kako je više od dva sata petljala oko dvije ručke, koristeći svoje ruke, gumene trake za držanje, kliješta, prskajući WD-40 da pokuša zatvoriti ventil, ali neuspješno. Na kraju je odustala i pozvala vodoinstalatera. Srećom, on je brzo stigao, a još brže riješio problem. Ispostavilo se da su zaporni ventili u 65 godina staroj kući s vremenom postali ljepljivi, što je čest problem kod starijih domova. Račun je iznosio negdje oko 1000 kuna da bi vodoinstalater zamijenio stare ventile novima koji bi se učinkovito otvarali i zatvarali kad ih okrenete.

Dok je radio, vodoinstalater je čitateljici otkrio tajnu: ovaj skupi posjet mogao se izbjeći tako da se ventili za zatvaranje ispod umivaonika s vremena na vrijeme potpuno otvore i zatvore - posao koji traje doslovno nekoliko sekundi. Malo rastezanje tih ventila pomaže u sprječavanju nakupljanja minerala koji dovode do stvrdnjavanja u budućnosti.

Funkcionalni zaporni ventili nisu važni samo kada je u pitanju obnova doma, kao kod čitateljice, u slučaju nužde – pokvaren vodokotlić, puknuće cijevi, začepljen umivaonik - zaporni ventili vam pomažu da prekinete dovod vode do oštećenog uređaja.

Stoga, kad se slučajno sjetite svojih ventila dajte ima malo pozornosti. Ovaj postupak bi vam mogao uštedjeti stotine kuna za posjet vodoinstalatera — ili čak tisuće za popravak štete od vode, piše Dom i Dizajn.
