Kanarski otok La Palmu, gdje je prije 40 dana proključao vulkan, u subotu ujutro je zatresao potres snage 5,1 stupnja po Richteru no znatiželjni turisti nastavljaju pristizati ondje tijekom produženog vikenda.
Potres s epicentrom u Starom vrhu (Cumbre vieja), od kuda danima šiklja lava, osjetio se u 7.24 sata po lokalnom vremenu, izvijestio je Nacionalni geografski institut (IGN). Svaki dan se osjeti desetak potresa no dosad je najsnažniji iznosio 4,9 stupnjeva po Richteru.

Tijekom produženog vikenda, povodom dana Svih svetih, na La Palmi se očekuje oko 10.000 posjetitelja koji žele uživo gledati prizor izbijanja lave. Karte za brodove i avione za ovaj vikend su rasprodane, izvijestio je lokalni turistički ured.
Turizam sudjeluje s 20 posto u BDP-u ovog otoka ali od kada je 19. rujna erumpirao vulkan popunjenost hotela je pala sa 70 posto na 40 posto. U subotu je, međutim, popunjenost skočila na 90 posto.

I dok jedni pristižu kako bi se divili fenomenu, drugi su napustili domove u podnožju kratera. Oko 7.000 stanovnika moralo se iseliti iz ugroženog područja. Krajem idućeg tjedna bi se prve obitelji, privremeno smještene u hotelima, trebale useliti u 18 nastambi namijenjenih stradalnicima. Do kraja godine ili početkom 2022. svi evakuirani stanovnici trebali bi dobiti nove domove.
Lava je prekrila područje od 941,5 hektara no nitko nije poginuo niti je ozlijeđen.

Tijekom produženog vikenda, povodom dana Svih svetih, na La Palmi se očekuje oko 10.000 posjetitelja koji žele uživo gledati prizor izbijanja lave. Karte za brodove i avione za ovaj vikend su rasprodane, izvijestio je lokalni turistički ured.
Turizam sudjeluje s 20 posto u BDP-u ovog otoka ali od kada je 19. rujna erumpirao vulkan popunjenost hotela je pala sa 70 posto na 40 posto. U subotu je, međutim, popunjenost skočila na 90 posto.

I dok jedni pristižu kako bi se divili fenomenu, drugi su napustili domove u podnožju kratera. Oko 7.000 stanovnika moralo se iseliti iz ugroženog područja. Krajem idućeg tjedna bi se prve obitelji, privremeno smještene u hotelima, trebale useliti u 18 nastambi namijenjenih stradalnicima. Do kraja godine ili početkom 2022. svi evakuirani stanovnici trebali bi dobiti nove domove.
Lava je prekrila područje od 941,5 hektara no nitko nije poginuo niti je ozlijeđen.

Kanarski otok La Palmu, gdje je prije 40 dana proključao vulkan, u subotu ujutro je zatresao potres snage 5,1 stupnja po Richteru no znatiželjni turisti nastavljaju pristizati ondje tijekom produženog vikenda.
Potres s epicentrom u Starom vrhu (Cumbre vieja), od kuda danima šiklja lava, osjetio se u 7.24 sata po lokalnom vremenu, izvijestio je Nacionalni geografski institut (IGN). Svaki dan se osjeti desetak potresa no dosad je najsnažniji iznosio 4,9 stupnjeva po Richteru.
Tijekom produženog vikenda, povodom dana Svih svetih, na La Palmi se očekuje oko 10.000 posjetitelja koji žele uživo gledati prizor izbijanja lave. Karte za brodove i avione za ovaj vikend su rasprodane, izvijestio je lokalni turistički ured.
