Bilo je to u ljeto 2021. kad je Netflixova serija "Seks i život" ili "Sex/Life" dodatno podigla vrućinu. Svijet je još bio dobrim dijelom pod koronom i "Seks i život" je uletio kao naručen da erotikom odgana svakodnevne probleme i povisi visoke ljetne temperature.

Serija je stavljala veći naglasak na "seks" nego "život" i postala popularna najviše zbog golotinje (uključujući i "full frontal" prizor muškog ponosa), što su isticali statusi na drutvenim mrežama, ali djelovala je trenutačno kao puka eskapistička konfekcija i zaboravljala se takoreći nakon završetka svake epizode.

"Do idućeg će ljeta Billie, Brad i Cooper vjerojatno biti zaboravljeni i samo ih potencijalna ‘sezona 2‘ može izvući iz zaborava", zapisali smo na kraju recenzije naslovljene "Plesali su (i seksali se) jedno ljeto". I doista, "Sex/Life" se u međuvremenu nije posebno spominjao na društvenim mrežama, sve dok Netflix nije ovog proljeća pustio drugu sezonu u optjecaj, ne želeći čekati ljeto. "Seks i život 2" pokušava napraviti isto što i prva sezona.

Dakle, pružiti publici nekakav nadomjestak za "Seks i grad" i biti više "Sex and the City" od "And Just Like That...", kao i nadovezati se na Netflixove erotsko-sapuničaste uspješnice "365 dana" i "Bridgerton", uz neizbježan dodatak kinohita "Pedeset nijansi sive".

"Seks i grad" je dobio neposrednu referenciju u "Sex/Life 2" kad netko spomene "dvojnicu Kim Cattrall", ali ni nova sezona Netflixove serije nije na razini slavnog prethodnika, premda treba reći da je barem još uvijek iznad "365 Days" onoliko koliko je Sarah Shahi bolja glumica od Anna Marije Sieklucke.

Nedavno viđena u superherojskom blockbusteru "Black Adam", Shahi je nanovo solidna kao udana žena-majka-nimfomanska partijanerica Billie koja u uvodu govori da je odluka s kime ćete provesti život "jedna od najvažnijih", ali i izgovara ključne riječi serije "A sad me ševi".

Ipak, situacije iz prve sezone s bivšim dečkom Bradom Simonom (Adam Devos) i suprugom Cooperom (Mike Vogel) dovele su do toga da Billie u jednoj sceni "Seksa i života 2" sama sebe opiše slijedećim riječima: "Imam dvoje male djece, usred gorkog razvoda sam, patim za ljubavi života koja je sad s nekom drugom".

"Neka druga" je Gigi (Wallis Day) koja je, povrh toga, trudna s Bradom, što je povod da "Sex/Life 2" hvalevrijedno razbije tabue i prikaže seks u visokoj trudnoći. No, to je rijetka intrigantnija stvar u vezi nastavka Netflixove serije uz to što nanovo u podjednakoj mjeri prikazuje i mušku golotinju kao žensku.

Likova je ovaj put previše i gledatelju dođe da gotovo požali za ljubavnim trokutom Billie-Brad-Cooper iz prve sezone. Veću minutažu u "Seksu i životu 2" ima Billieina prijateljica Sasha Snow (Margaret Odette), a tu su i Francesca (Li Jun Li), Trina (Amber Goldfarb)... kao i novi likovi Kam (Cleo Anthony), Majid (Darius Homayoun), Mick (Craig Bierko; "Pakleni poljubac")...

Među svim tim likovima Billie se pomalo izgubila unatoč naznakama da je sazrela i postala kompleksnija u balansiranju majčinstva sa starom-novom potragom za ljubavi i požudom. Nakon "Sex/Life 2" nije veliko iznenađenje da je Netflix otkazao seriju i da od treće sezone na kraju neće biti ništa. Plesali su (i seksali se) jedno ljeto i jedno proljeće.

Bilo je to u ljeto 2021. kad je Netflixova serija "Seks i život" ili "Sex/Life" dodatno podigla vrućinu. Svijet je još bio dobrim dijelom pod koronom i "Seks i život" je uletio kao naručen da erotikom odgana svakodnevne probleme i povisi visoke ljetne temperature.

Serija je stavljala veći naglasak na "seks" nego "život" i postala popularna najviše zbog golotinje (uključujući i "full frontal" prizor muškog ponosa), što su isticali statusi na drutvenim mrežama, ali djelovala je trenutačno kao puka eskapistička konfekcija i zaboravljala se takoreći nakon završetka svake epizode.

"Do idućeg će ljeta Billie, Brad i Cooper vjerojatno biti zaboravljeni i samo ih potencijalna ‘sezona 2‘ može izvući iz zaborava", zapisali smo na kraju recenzije naslovljene "Plesali su (i seksali se) jedno ljeto". I doista, "Sex/Life" se u međuvremenu nije posebno spominjao na društvenim mrežama, sve dok Netflix nije ovog proljeća pustio drugu sezonu u optjecaj, ne želeći čekati ljeto. "Seks i život 2" pokušava napraviti isto što i prva sezona.

Dakle, pružiti publici nekakav nadomjestak za "Seks i grad" i biti više "Sex and the City" od "And Just Like That...", kao i nadovezati se na Netflixove erotsko-sapuničaste uspješnice "365 dana" i "Bridgerton", uz neizbježan dodatak kinohita "Pedeset nijansi sive".

"Seks i grad" je dobio neposrednu referenciju u "Sex/Life 2" kad netko spomene "dvojnicu Kim Cattrall", ali ni nova sezona Netflixove serije nije na razini slavnog prethodnika, premda treba reći da je barem još uvijek iznad "365 Days" onoliko koliko je Sarah Shahi bolja glumica od Anna Marije Sieklucke.

Nedavno viđena u superherojskom blockbusteru "Black Adam", Shahi je nanovo solidna kao udana žena-majka-nimfomanska partijanerica Billie koja u uvodu govori da je odluka s kime ćete provesti život "jedna od najvažnijih", ali i izgovara ključne riječi serije "A sad me ševi".

Ipak, situacije iz prve sezone s bivšim dečkom Bradom Simonom (Adam Devos) i suprugom Cooperom (Mike Vogel) dovele su do toga da Billie u jednoj sceni "Seksa i života 2" sama sebe opiše slijedećim riječima: "Imam dvoje male djece, usred gorkog razvoda sam, patim za ljubavi života koja je sad s nekom drugom".

"Neka druga" je Gigi (Wallis Day) koja je, povrh toga, trudna s Bradom, što je povod da "Sex/Life 2" hvalevrijedno razbije tabue i prikaže seks u visokoj trudnoći. No, to je rijetka intrigantnija stvar u vezi nastavka Netflixove serije uz to što nanovo u podjednakoj mjeri prikazuje i mušku golotinju kao žensku.

Likova je ovaj put previše i gledatelju dođe da gotovo požali za ljubavnim trokutom Billie-Brad-Cooper iz prve sezone. Veću minutažu u "Seksu i životu 2" ima Billieina prijateljica Sasha Snow (Margaret Odette), a tu su i Francesca (Li Jun Li), Trina (Amber Goldfarb)... kao i novi likovi Kam (Cleo Anthony), Majid (Darius Homayoun), Mick (Craig Bierko; "Pakleni poljubac")...

Među svim tim likovima Billie se pomalo izgubila unatoč naznakama da je sazrela i postala kompleksnija u balansiranju majčinstva sa starom-novom potragom za ljubavi i požudom. Nakon "Sex/Life 2" nije veliko iznenađenje da je Netflix otkazao seriju i da od treće sezone na kraju neće biti ništa. Plesali su (i seksali se) jedno ljeto i jedno proljeće.
