Dvojica glumaca koji su u blockbusterima o Batmanu glumili lik Harveyja Denta, odnosno negativca znanog po imenu Two-Face, dijele kadar u filmu "Lutalice" ("Wander"), premijernom naslovu na hrvatskom "online" videotržištu. To su oskarovac Tommy Lee Jones ("Batman zauvijek" Joela Schumachera) i Aaron Eckhart ("Vitez tame" Christophera Nolana), obojica standardno dobri u nesvakidašnjim ulogama.

Bivši tumači Two-Facea glume Jimmyja i Arthura, voditelje "podcasta" koji se bavi teorijama zavjere i one su predmet nepresušne diskusije. Da stvar bude intrigantnija od puke "trivije", "Lutalice" su film s dva žanrovska lica (paranoidni krimi-triler, karakterna drama). Film koji povezuje nepovezivo, a reklamira se krilaticom "Zavjera je stvarna".

Može se reći da je "Wander" svojevrsni "X-Files" sreće "Memento". Ili "Conspiracy Theory" sreće "They Live". Samo bez izvanzemaljaca ("Dosjei X") i sunčanih naočala ("Oni žive"). Zapravo, kad čovjek počne još više razmišljati o filmu, najpreciznije bi bilo zapisati da ovdje "Urota" sreće "Memento".

Sjećate se da je Mel Gibson dodijavao Juliji Roberts s teorijama zavjere u prvospomenutom trileru Richarda Donnera. Nešto slično sada radi Eckhart kao Arthur Bretnik svojoj Juliji – Heather Graham (nezaboravna Rollergirl iz "Kralja pornića") u ulozi njegove prijatljice Shelley.

Razlika je što je Eckhart privatni istražitelj, k tome ne samo paranoidan nego i mentalno nestabilan. "Ponovno si pretjerao s lijekovima", Arthuru govori Jimmy Cleats (Jones). Arhurova istraga ubojstva povezanog s "nečim većim" podsjeća na istragu Guya Pearcea u "Mementu".

Jasno, "Lutalice" nisu savršena trilerska konstrukcija poput "Mementa", ni blizu, ali definitivno je zanimljivo da je glavni lik, istražitelj, netko ovakvog mentalnog stanja. Naime, Arthur je bivši detektiv, traumatiziran pogibijom kćerke koja ga je ostavila u carstvu halucinacija i često zna mentalno odlutati, tako da hrvatski naslov filma ima smisla, premda se izvorni "Wander" odnosi na istoimeni usamljeni gradić u Novom Meksiku.

Stoga, Arthur idući slučaj shvaća osobno kad ga kontaktira Elena (Deborah Chavez) tvrdeći da je njezina kćerka Zoe (Elizabeth Selby) ubijena i da je ubojstvo zataškano, a čak i pronalazi poveznice sa slučajem na kojem je radio kao detektiv, pa i s tragedijom vlastite obitelji, sudarom koji mu je oduzeo kćerku, njegovu suprugu pretvorio u katatoničnu ženu, a njega s neurološkim poremećajem.

Kvaka je da smo mi vidjeli/čuli naizgledno ubojstvo Zoe u uvodu filma koji hvata pozornost gledatelja zahvaljujući tome kako redateljica April Mullen postavlja scenu. Kamera u totalu snima pustinjsku cestu bogu iza nogu i terenac prevnut na krov nasred nje. Mlada djevojka ispuže iz vozila i dade se u bijeg, ali kao da je metak stiže i nesretnica pada na tlo u beživotnom stanju.

Gledatelj, međutim, ne vidi odakle je stigao metak ni tko ga je ispalio, jedino što doznaje jest da je stradala "na obodu grada" i da ovo definitivno nije bila obična prometna nesreća, ali intrigira ga da policajci komentiraju "znala je što će se dogoditi". Doista, prilično impresivan misteriozni početak koji nagoni na daljnje gledanje.

Nešto tako nadahnuto Mullen neće režirati do kraja filma, no uvodna intriga ostaje, posebice kad se dozna da Zoe nije stradala od metka, već čipa koji je bio implantiran u njezina prsa i eksplodirao nakon što je htjela napustiti Wander. Osim što je Arthur takozvani nepouzdani narator, što potencira nepredvidljivost, dio naracije se, moguće, odvija samo u konfuznoj glavi protagonista u kojoj se miješaju paranoje, sjećanja i halucinacije.

Paranoja samo buja, naša kao i njegova, dok "polako otkrivamo istinu", tj. zajedno s njim propitujemo pravu i iluzornu prirodu stvarnosti vezanu za vladine eksperimente na imigrantima koji se vode kao nestali i nadzor putem čipova. "Vodi se rat između tame i svjetlosti", tvrdi Arthur u hektičkom filmu čije mračne ideje uznemirujuće koincidiraju sa svijetom današnjice i potenciraju "the-truth-is-out-there" teorije zavjere poput čipiranja. Istina je tamo negdje. U "Wanderu"?

‘Počast glasovima koji su bili utišani‘

"Lutalice" su, kako je stajalo u natpisu na uvodnoj špici, "posvećene svim domorocima, crncima i obojenim ljudima koji su bili razmješteni tijekom granične kontrole na ukradeno zemlji". "Izložimo nasilje vlade, borimo se za promjenu i odajmo počast glasovima koji su bili utišani. Film je snimljen u domovini Pueblo, navajo i Apache naroda".

Dvojica glumaca koji su u blockbusterima o Batmanu glumili lik Harveyja Denta, odnosno negativca znanog po imenu Two-Face, dijele kadar u filmu "Lutalice" ("Wander"), premijernom naslovu na hrvatskom "online" videotržištu. To su oskarovac Tommy Lee Jones ("Batman zauvijek" Joela Schumachera) i Aaron Eckhart ("Vitez tame" Christophera Nolana), obojica standardno dobri u nesvakidašnjim ulogama.

Bivši tumači Two-Facea glume Jimmyja i Arthura, voditelje "podcasta" koji se bavi teorijama zavjere i one su predmet nepresušne diskusije. Da stvar bude intrigantnija od puke "trivije", "Lutalice" su film s dva žanrovska lica (paranoidni krimi-triler, karakterna drama). Film koji povezuje nepovezivo, a reklamira se krilaticom "Zavjera je stvarna".

Može se reći da je "Wander" svojevrsni "X-Files" sreće "Memento". Ili "Conspiracy Theory" sreće "They Live". Samo bez izvanzemaljaca ("Dosjei X") i sunčanih naočala ("Oni žive"). Zapravo, kad čovjek počne još više razmišljati o filmu, najpreciznije bi bilo zapisati da ovdje "Urota" sreće "Memento".

Sjećate se da je Mel Gibson dodijavao Juliji Roberts s teorijama zavjere u prvospomenutom trileru Richarda Donnera. Nešto slično sada radi Eckhart kao Arthur Bretnik svojoj Juliji – Heather Graham (nezaboravna Rollergirl iz "Kralja pornića") u ulozi njegove prijatljice Shelley.

Razlika je što je Eckhart privatni istražitelj, k tome ne samo paranoidan nego i mentalno nestabilan. "Ponovno si pretjerao s lijekovima", Arthuru govori Jimmy Cleats (Jones). Arhurova istraga ubojstva povezanog s "nečim većim" podsjeća na istragu Guya Pearcea u "Mementu".

Jasno, "Lutalice" nisu savršena trilerska konstrukcija poput "Mementa", ni blizu, ali definitivno je zanimljivo da je glavni lik, istražitelj, netko ovakvog mentalnog stanja. Naime, Arthur je bivši detektiv, traumatiziran pogibijom kćerke koja ga je ostavila u carstvu halucinacija i često zna mentalno odlutati, tako da hrvatski naslov filma ima smisla, premda se izvorni "Wander" odnosi na istoimeni usamljeni gradić u Novom Meksiku.

Stoga, Arthur idući slučaj shvaća osobno kad ga kontaktira Elena (Deborah Chavez) tvrdeći da je njezina kćerka Zoe (Elizabeth Selby) ubijena i da je ubojstvo zataškano, a čak i pronalazi poveznice sa slučajem na kojem je radio kao detektiv, pa i s tragedijom vlastite obitelji, sudarom koji mu je oduzeo kćerku, njegovu suprugu pretvorio u katatoničnu ženu, a njega s neurološkim poremećajem.

Kvaka je da smo mi vidjeli/čuli naizgledno ubojstvo Zoe u uvodu filma koji hvata pozornost gledatelja zahvaljujući tome kako redateljica April Mullen postavlja scenu. Kamera u totalu snima pustinjsku cestu bogu iza nogu i terenac prevnut na krov nasred nje. Mlada djevojka ispuže iz vozila i dade se u bijeg, ali kao da je metak stiže i nesretnica pada na tlo u beživotnom stanju.

Gledatelj, međutim, ne vidi odakle je stigao metak ni tko ga je ispalio, jedino što doznaje jest da je stradala "na obodu grada" i da ovo definitivno nije bila obična prometna nesreća, ali intrigira ga da policajci komentiraju "znala je što će se dogoditi". Doista, prilično impresivan misteriozni početak koji nagoni na daljnje gledanje.

Nešto tako nadahnuto Mullen neće režirati do kraja filma, no uvodna intriga ostaje, posebice kad se dozna da Zoe nije stradala od metka, već čipa koji je bio implantiran u njezina prsa i eksplodirao nakon što je htjela napustiti Wander. Osim što je Arthur takozvani nepouzdani narator, što potencira nepredvidljivost, dio naracije se, moguće, odvija samo u konfuznoj glavi protagonista u kojoj se miješaju paranoje, sjećanja i halucinacije.

Paranoja samo buja, naša kao i njegova, dok "polako otkrivamo istinu", tj. zajedno s njim propitujemo pravu i iluzornu prirodu stvarnosti vezanu za vladine eksperimente na imigrantima koji se vode kao nestali i nadzor putem čipova. "Vodi se rat između tame i svjetlosti", tvrdi Arthur u hektičkom filmu čije mračne ideje uznemirujuće koincidiraju sa svijetom današnjice i potenciraju "the-truth-is-out-there" teorije zavjere poput čipiranja. Istina je tamo negdje. U "Wanderu"?

"Lutalice" su, kako je stajalo u natpisu na uvodnoj špici, "posvećene svim domorocima, crncima i obojenim ljudima koji su bili razmješteni tijekom granične kontrole na ukradeno zemlji". "Izložimo nasilje vlade, borimo se za promjenu i odajmo počast glasovima koji su bili utišani. Film je snimljen u domovini Pueblo, navajo i Apache naroda".
