Potomak Clinta Eastwooda, prirodno karizmatični Scott, svakim nastupom više podsjeća na slavnog oca kojeg sve više slijedi i u odabiru akcijskih "macho" uloga. U filmu "Borbeni položaj", novitetu na hrvatskom "online" videotržištu, Scott igra vojnika po imenu Clint i doziva u sjećanje očeve izvedbe u ratnim akcijama, od "Orlova gijezda" i "Zlata za odvažne" do "Vojničine".

Moglo bi vam se tu i tamo dogoditi da pomislite kako gledate ili barem slušate (mladog) Clinta koliko je sin naslijedio očeve tjelesne i verbalne manire. Međutim, postoji, pritom, bitna razlika u filmovima. "Where Eagles Dare" i "Kelly's Heroes" koristili su okvir Drugog svjetskog rata za nešto lepršaviju, "avanturističkiju" akciju, a "Heartbreak Ridge" od invazije na Grenadu zamalo napravio "Full Metal Jacket".

"The Outpost" djeluje ozbiljnije i životnije, baveći se istinitom pričom iz nedavnog "rata protiv terora" koji još uvijek odjekuje u kolektivnoj svijesti svijeta, napose američke nacije.

Povratnički film redatelja Roda Lurieja ("U obranu časti", "Posljednja bitka", "Predsjednička igra") ne koristi rat kao filmski "entertainment", što bi se moglo reći za "Zlato za odvažne".

Opet, stvar je i perspektive, odnosno protoka vremena. "Borbeni položaj" je fokusiran na krvavu bitku za Kamdeš (Afganistan), okončanu 2009. godine fatalnim napadom talibana na američku predstražu. Rane su još svježe i film je morao biti visceralno ratno iskustvo bez "uljepšavanja".

Ekranizirajući bestselersku knjigu Jakea Tappera "The Outpost: An Untold Story of American Valor", koju su u scenarij adaptirali Eric Johnson i Paul Tamasy ("Boksač"), Lurie je odabrao direktno-urgentni akcijsko-ratni pristup Ridleyja Scotta i Petera Berga iz superirornih filmova "Pad crnog jastreba" i "Jedini preživjeli".

Najprije predstavljanje ljudi, geografije i situacije s mačo poziranjem tipa "još jedan prokleti dan u Afganistanu", a onda ratna akcija, točnije rečeno preživljavanje koje je netko odlično sveo riječima "Nije važno kakav si vojnik, ako ostanemo živi pobijedili smo". Najviše se izdvajaju Clint Romesha (Eastwood), Ty Michael Carter (Caleb Landry Jones), Benjamin D. Keating (Orlando Bloom) i Robert Yllescas (Milo Gibson, Melov sin).

Lurie je prošetao kamerom i kroz predstražu ne bi li uputio kritiku, odnosno jasno naglasio kako je misija bila predodređena na neuspjeh već samom lokacijom nedaleko pakistanske granice. Predstraža se nalazila u dnu doline, okružena brdima/planinama odakle su po Amerikancima pucali talibani, skriveni iza stijena.

Tko je američke vojnike poslao tu, osudio ih je unaprijed na smrt, takoreći. Ispočetka talibani tek povremeno otvaraju vatru s uzvisine, prekidajući razgovore Amerikanaca i njihovu ratnu svakodnevicu, tijekom čega ekonomično upoznajemo likove u tijelu glumaca u dosad ponajboljim izvedbama karijere (Eastwood, Jones, Bloom) i doznajemo da "i Ameri imaju sjebane živote" u njihovu razgovoru s običnim ljudima među lokalcima.

No, vatra ne prestaje u drugoj polovici dobrog i uvjerljivog ratnog filma, rezerviranoj za bitku za Kamdeš u trajanju od oko sat vremena, kad je stotinjak talibana nasrnulo na američke vojnike. Raketni bacači, minobacači, ukratko teška paljba sijeva po predstraži.

"Naša misija je sada ono što je oduvijek bila... da preživimo", kaže jedan vojnik i tako doista jest. Redatelj rat snima kao golo preživljavanje u akcijskim scenama ozvučenim mecima i uzvicima. Naizgled visoke produkcijske vrijednosti znaju ponekad biti upitne, tj. vidljivo je da je film projekt kompanije Millenium (serijal "Plaćenici") i da je Bugarska glumila Afganistan.

Ipak, režija je neupitna i Lurie zna što radi i kako dočarati ratni kaos i pritom ne izgubiti iz vida sve bitno, mašineriju i čovjeka, akciju i dramu. Akcija i drama odvijaju se ponekad i istovremeno, usred bitke. S dramom film i završava, ostavljajući preživjelima podsjetnik na rat u vidu PTSP-a, a gledatelju materijala za razmišljanje jednom kad meci minu i nastupi dramska tišina.

Clint Romesha i Ty Michael Carter su obojica nagrađeni Medaljom časti, što je prvi put da se to odličje dalo dvojici vojnika iz iste bitke.

Potomak Clinta Eastwooda, prirodno karizmatični Scott, svakim nastupom više podsjeća na slavnog oca kojeg sve više slijedi i u odabiru akcijskih "macho" uloga. U filmu "Borbeni položaj", novitetu na hrvatskom "online" videotržištu, Scott igra vojnika po imenu Clint i doziva u sjećanje očeve izvedbe u ratnim akcijama, od "Orlova gijezda" i "Zlata za odvažne" do "Vojničine".

Moglo bi vam se tu i tamo dogoditi da pomislite kako gledate ili barem slušate (mladog) Clinta koliko je sin naslijedio očeve tjelesne i verbalne manire. Međutim, postoji, pritom, bitna razlika u filmovima. "Where Eagles Dare" i "Kelly's Heroes" koristili su okvir Drugog svjetskog rata za nešto lepršaviju, "avanturističkiju" akciju, a "Heartbreak Ridge" od invazije na Grenadu zamalo napravio "Full Metal Jacket".

"The Outpost" djeluje ozbiljnije i životnije, baveći se istinitom pričom iz nedavnog "rata protiv terora" koji još uvijek odjekuje u kolektivnoj svijesti svijeta, napose američke nacije.

Povratnički film redatelja Roda Lurieja ("U obranu časti", "Posljednja bitka", "Predsjednička igra") ne koristi rat kao filmski "entertainment", što bi se moglo reći za "Zlato za odvažne".

Opet, stvar je i perspektive, odnosno protoka vremena. "Borbeni položaj" je fokusiran na krvavu bitku za Kamdeš (Afganistan), okončanu 2009. godine fatalnim napadom talibana na američku predstražu. Rane su još svježe i film je morao biti visceralno ratno iskustvo bez "uljepšavanja".

Ekranizirajući bestselersku knjigu Jakea Tappera "The Outpost: An Untold Story of American Valor", koju su u scenarij adaptirali Eric Johnson i Paul Tamasy ("Boksač"), Lurie je odabrao direktno-urgentni akcijsko-ratni pristup Ridleyja Scotta i Petera Berga iz superirornih filmova "Pad crnog jastreba" i "Jedini preživjeli".

Najprije predstavljanje ljudi, geografije i situacije s mačo poziranjem tipa "još jedan prokleti dan u Afganistanu", a onda ratna akcija, točnije rečeno preživljavanje koje je netko odlično sveo riječima "Nije važno kakav si vojnik, ako ostanemo živi pobijedili smo". Najviše se izdvajaju Clint Romesha (Eastwood), Ty Michael Carter (Caleb Landry Jones), Benjamin D. Keating (Orlando Bloom) i Robert Yllescas (Milo Gibson, Melov sin).

Lurie je prošetao kamerom i kroz predstražu ne bi li uputio kritiku, odnosno jasno naglasio kako je misija bila predodređena na neuspjeh već samom lokacijom nedaleko pakistanske granice. Predstraža se nalazila u dnu doline, okružena brdima/planinama odakle su po Amerikancima pucali talibani, skriveni iza stijena.

Tko je američke vojnike poslao tu, osudio ih je unaprijed na smrt, takoreći. Ispočetka talibani tek povremeno otvaraju vatru s uzvisine, prekidajući razgovore Amerikanaca i njihovu ratnu svakodnevicu, tijekom čega ekonomično upoznajemo likove u tijelu glumaca u dosad ponajboljim izvedbama karijere (Eastwood, Jones, Bloom) i doznajemo da "i Ameri imaju sjebane živote" u njihovu razgovoru s običnim ljudima među lokalcima.

No, vatra ne prestaje u drugoj polovici dobrog i uvjerljivog ratnog filma, rezerviranoj za bitku za Kamdeš u trajanju od oko sat vremena, kad je stotinjak talibana nasrnulo na američke vojnike. Raketni bacači, minobacači, ukratko teška paljba sijeva po predstraži.

"Naša misija je sada ono što je oduvijek bila... da preživimo", kaže jedan vojnik i tako doista jest. Redatelj rat snima kao golo preživljavanje u akcijskim scenama ozvučenim mecima i uzvicima. Naizgled visoke produkcijske vrijednosti znaju ponekad biti upitne, tj. vidljivo je da je film projekt kompanije Millenium (serijal "Plaćenici") i da je Bugarska glumila Afganistan.

Ipak, režija je neupitna i Lurie zna što radi i kako dočarati ratni kaos i pritom ne izgubiti iz vida sve bitno, mašineriju i čovjeka, akciju i dramu. Akcija i drama odvijaju se ponekad i istovremeno, usred bitke. S dramom film i završava, ostavljajući preživjelima podsjetnik na rat u vidu PTSP-a, a gledatelju materijala za razmišljanje jednom kad meci minu i nastupi dramska tišina.

Clint Romesha i Ty Michael Carter su obojica nagrađeni Medaljom časti, što je prvi put da se to odličje dalo dvojici vojnika iz iste bitke.
