Od raka jajnika godišnje oboli oko 314.000 žena, a umre njih 207.000. Prema podacima Registra za rak Hrvatskog zavoda za javno zdravstvo, od raka jajnika u Hrvatskoj godišnje obolijeva između 400 i 450 žena, dok svake godine umire oko 300 žena. Danas, 8 svibnja, na Svjetski dan borbe protiv raka jajnika, to su brojke koje opominju da treba voditi brigu o zdravlju i ne zanemarivati simptome bolesti.

Kako objavljuje Hrvatski zavod za javno zdravstvo, rizični čimbenici koji povećavaju rizik od nastanka raka jajnika su određene genske mutacije (mutacije u genima BRCA1 i BRCA2, Lynch sindrom), neplodnost, endometrioza i pušenje, dok su neki od zaštitnih čimbenika uzimanje oralne kontracepcije, dojenje, trudnoća, podvezivanje jajnika i uklanjanje jajovoda.

„Iako je svjesnost o raku jajnika u porastu, a incidencija na svjetskoj razini u padu, nema značajnih poboljšanja u uspješnosti liječenja i preživljenju. Simptomi raka jajnika često dugo ostaju neprepoznati jer se lako mogu zamijeniti sa simptomima manje ozbiljnih bolesti poput probavnih smetnji, iako se javljaju već i u ranom stadiju bolesti. Zbog toga se velik broj slučajeva, njih čak 70 posto, otkrije kad se rak već proširio”, upozoravaju iz HZJZ-a.

Kako navode, simptomi na koje treba obratiti pažnju su: napuhnutost i osjećaj težine u želucu, gubitak teka, čest poriv za mokrenjem i nenamjerni gubitak težine.

Mnoge žene, upozoravaju iz HZJZ-a, žive u zabludi misleći da će PAPA test otkriti rak jajnika. Posljednji objavljeni podaci Zavoda za javno zdravstvo govore da je rak jajnika na šestom mjestu po učestalosti gledajući sva sijela raka kod žena u Dubrovačko-neretvanskoj županiji (3,8 posto).

Od raka jajnika godišnje oboli oko 314.000 žena, a umre njih 207.000. Prema podacima Registra za rak Hrvatskog zavoda za javno zdravstvo, od raka jajnika u Hrvatskoj godišnje obolijeva između 400 i 450 žena, dok svake godine umire oko 300 žena. Danas, 8 svibnja, na Svjetski dan borbe protiv raka jajnika, to su brojke koje opominju da treba voditi brigu o zdravlju i ne zanemarivati simptome bolesti.

Kako objavljuje Hrvatski zavod za javno zdravstvo, rizični čimbenici koji povećavaju rizik od nastanka raka jajnika su određene genske mutacije (mutacije u genima BRCA1 i BRCA2, Lynch sindrom), neplodnost, endometrioza i pušenje, dok su neki od zaštitnih čimbenika uzimanje oralne kontracepcije, dojenje, trudnoća, podvezivanje jajnika i uklanjanje jajovoda.

„Iako je svjesnost o raku jajnika u porastu, a incidencija na svjetskoj razini u padu, nema značajnih poboljšanja u uspješnosti liječenja i preživljenju. Simptomi raka jajnika često dugo ostaju neprepoznati jer se lako mogu zamijeniti sa simptomima manje ozbiljnih bolesti poput probavnih smetnji, iako se javljaju već i u ranom stadiju bolesti. Zbog toga se velik broj slučajeva, njih čak 70 posto, otkrije kad se rak već proširio”, upozoravaju iz HZJZ-a.

Kako navode, simptomi na koje treba obratiti pažnju su: napuhnutost i osjećaj težine u želucu, gubitak teka, čest poriv za mokrenjem i nenamjerni gubitak težine.

Žene često misle da je riječ o probavnim smetnjama, 70 posto pacijentica dijagnozu dobije kad se bolest proširi

Od raka jajnika godišnje oboli oko 314.000 žena, a umre njih 207.000. Prema podacima Registra za rak Hrvatskog zavoda za javno zdravstvo, od raka jajnika u Hrvatskoj godišnje obolijeva između 400 i 450 žena, dok svake godine umire oko 300 žena. Danas, 8 svibnja, na Svjetski dan borbe protiv raka jajnika, to su brojke koje opominju da treba voditi brigu o zdravlju i ne zanemarivati simptome bolesti.

Kako objavljuje Hrvatski zavod za javno zdravstvo, rizični čimbenici koji povećavaju rizik od nastanka raka jajnika su određene genske mutacije (mutacije u genima BRCA1 i BRCA2, Lynch sindrom), neplodnost, endometrioza i pušenje, dok su neki od zaštitnih čimbenika uzimanje oralne kontracepcije, dojenje, trudnoća, podvezivanje jajnika i uklanjanje jajovoda.

„Iako je svjesnost o raku jajnika u porastu, a incidencija na svjetskoj razini u padu, nema značajnih poboljšanja u uspješnosti liječenja i preživljenju. Simptomi raka jajnika često dugo ostaju neprepoznati jer se lako mogu zamijeniti sa simptomima manje ozbiljnih bolesti poput probavnih smetnji, iako se javljaju već i u ranom stadiju bolesti. Zbog toga se velik broj slučajeva, njih čak 70 posto, otkrije kad se rak već proširio”, upozoravaju iz HZJZ-a.

Kako navode, simptomi na koje treba obratiti pažnju su: napuhnutost i osjećaj težine u želucu, gubitak teka, čest poriv za mokrenjem i nenamjerni gubitak težine.
