- Zime nije bilo nimalo, a veljača i ožujak kao da je proljeće. Pčela je s mladim leglom krenula već u veljači. Trošila je zalihe hrane duplo više nego inače jer je hranila larve i sebe i trošila je grijanje. Imaju još nešto zaliha hrane, ali došle su na ‘rezervu‘ – kaže dubrovački pčelar Željko Butjer o utjecaju sve izraženijih klimatskih promjena na pčelinje zajednice i njihov životni ciklus.

- Cijelu zimu pčele nisu bile u klupku kao što bi morale biti, a one na osam stupnjeva i niže idu u klupko. Problem je i što su biljke rano procvjetale ali nije bilo dovoljno topline da bi ispuštale nektar. Pčele su išle, trošile ‘gorivo‘, ali nisu ništa donosile. Tek sada, od početka travnja kad je ugrijalo, biljke su počele ispuštat nektar – kaže iskusni pčelar potvrđujući kako vremenske prilike izrazito utječu na medonosne pčele. Puno toga ovisi o mikrolokaciji pa pčele primjerice u Dalmaciji počinju razvoj mladog legla ranije, a u Slavoniji kasnije. Ove godine se pak dogodilo da su, zbog visokih zimskih temperatura, na spomenutim lokacijama razvoj zajednica počele u isto vrijeme.

Budući da upućeniji najavljuju izostanak padalina u toplijim mjesecima u godini, koliko će se to odraziti na ‘medni urod‘, hoće li izostati proljetna berba, pitamo gospara Željka koji za sobom ima više od pola stoljeća iskustva u radu s pčelama.

- Trebalo bi u travnju i svibnju da svako osam dana padne kiša da bi bila dobra godina za pčelu, a tako i za poljoprivredu. Jesen je bila dosta dobra, imali smo vrijeska i što je rijetkost, planiku. A sada, ako bude suho vrijeme bit će slabo, bude li kiše bit će i nektara, a onda i meda, za nas i za pčelu. Pčele su se dobro razvile, razvijenije su 15 dana nego ranijih godina jer je sve ranije počelo. Promjene su velike, zato sve ide ubrzanije. To nije dobro! Prije se znalo kad je zima i kad one miruju i tada troše zalihe hrane minimalno.

Budu li travanj i svibanj suhi, biljke neće izlučivati nektar koji ovisi o vlažnosti zemlje. Ako nema nektara, nema ni uroda pa će ‘zlatne tekućine‘ biti na kapaljku. Naš pčelar spominje i sve učestalije nemile događaje, doduše izražene u unutrašnjosti RH, kada zbog korištenja pesticida u poljoprivredi dođe do pomora pčela medarica.

- Zaštitili su vuka, medvjeda i stavili kazne, a znaju li ako bi nestalo pčela, za dvije godine pomrlo bi pola svijeta!

Ivan Lopina, predsjednik Pčelarskog društva Dubrovačko primorje Majkovi koje okuplja pčelare s područja od Imotice do Brgata kaže kako su pčele, jer je zima bila blaga i pretopla, non-stop radile.

- Bilo bi pravilno da je bilo zime jer one tada miruju ali zajednice pčela ovu zimu nisu mirovale, međutim solidne su pa ćemo sad vidjeti kroz proljeće kako će se dalje razvijati.

Hoće li to imati pozitivnog učinka na urod meda?

- Sve zavisi, ako se zajednice sada dobro razviju i ako bude u prirodi nektara, bit će dobro. Do prirode je, zasad su pčele u dosta dobroj kondiciji bez obzira što su proteklu zimu radile a kad previše rade troše se pa nije ni to dobro. Slijede pregledi košnica ali za sad su pozitivna gledišta. Meda bi trebalo biti ali ovisi kakav će biti kraj travnja i svibanj jer tad je ovdje u nas glavna paša – kaže pčelar iz Dubrovačkog primorja pa pojašnjava kako biljke koje najviše daju nektara cvjetaju u svibnju.

- Biljke mogu cvjetat a ne medit ako nema dovoljno vlage. Može bit sve rascvjetano a da nema nektara, tako je bilo prije dvije godine, 2022. je baš bila katastrofa. Najidealnije bi bilo da barem svakih 15 dana padne kiša – zaključuje Lopina.

- Zime nije bilo nimalo, a veljača i ožujak kao da je proljeće. Pčela je s mladim leglom krenula već u veljači. Trošila je zalihe hrane duplo više nego inače jer je hranila larve i sebe i trošila je grijanje. Imaju još nešto zaliha hrane, ali došle su na ‘rezervu‘ – kaže dubrovački pčelar Željko Butjer o utjecaju sve izraženijih klimatskih promjena na pčelinje zajednice i njihov životni ciklus.

- Cijelu zimu pčele nisu bile u klupku kao što bi morale biti, a one na osam stupnjeva i niže idu u klupko. Problem je i što su biljke rano procvjetale ali nije bilo dovoljno topline da bi ispuštale nektar. Pčele su išle, trošile ‘gorivo‘, ali nisu ništa donosile. Tek sada, od početka travnja kad je ugrijalo, biljke su počele ispuštat nektar – kaže iskusni pčelar potvrđujući kako vremenske prilike izrazito utječu na medonosne pčele. Puno toga ovisi o mikrolokaciji pa pčele primjerice u Dalmaciji počinju razvoj mladog legla ranije, a u Slavoniji kasnije. Ove godine se pak dogodilo da su, zbog visokih zimskih temperatura, na spomenutim lokacijama razvoj zajednica počele u isto vrijeme.

Budući da upućeniji najavljuju izostanak padalina u toplijim mjesecima u godini, koliko će se to odraziti na ‘medni urod‘, hoće li izostati proljetna berba, pitamo gospara Željka koji za sobom ima više od pola stoljeća iskustva u radu s pčelama.

- Trebalo bi u travnju i svibnju da svako osam dana padne kiša da bi bila dobra godina za pčelu, a tako i za poljoprivredu. Jesen je bila dosta dobra, imali smo vrijeska i što je rijetkost, planiku. A sada, ako bude suho vrijeme bit će slabo, bude li kiše bit će i nektara, a onda i meda, za nas i za pčelu. Pčele su se dobro razvile, razvijenije su 15 dana nego ranijih godina jer je sve ranije počelo. Promjene su velike, zato sve ide ubrzanije. To nije dobro! Prije se znalo kad je zima i kad one miruju i tada troše zalihe hrane minimalno.

Budu li travanj i svibanj suhi, biljke neće izlučivati nektar koji ovisi o vlažnosti zemlje. Ako nema nektara, nema ni uroda pa će ‘zlatne tekućine‘ biti na kapaljku. Naš pčelar spominje i sve učestalije nemile događaje, doduše izražene u unutrašnjosti RH, kada zbog korištenja pesticida u poljoprivredi dođe do pomora pčela medarica.

- Zaštitili su vuka, medvjeda i stavili kazne, a znaju li ako bi nestalo pčela, za dvije godine pomrlo bi pola svijeta!

- Bilo bi pravilno da je bilo zime jer one tada miruju ali zajednice pčela ovu zimu nisu mirovale, međutim solidne su pa ćemo sad vidjeti kroz proljeće kako će se dalje razvijati.

- Sve zavisi, ako se zajednice sada dobro razviju i ako bude u prirodi nektara, bit će dobro. Do prirode je, zasad su pčele u dosta dobroj kondiciji bez obzira što su proteklu zimu radile a kad previše rade troše se pa nije ni to dobro. Slijede pregledi košnica ali za sad su pozitivna gledišta. Meda bi trebalo biti ali ovisi kakav će biti kraj travnja i svibanj jer tad je ovdje u nas glavna paša – kaže pčelar iz Dubrovačkog primorja pa pojašnjava kako biljke koje najviše daju nektara cvjetaju u svibnju.

- Biljke mogu cvjetat a ne medit ako nema dovoljno vlage. Može bit sve rascvjetano a da nema nektara, tako je bilo prije dvije godine, 2022. je baš bila katastrofa. Najidealnije bi bilo da barem svakih 15 dana padne kiša – zaključuje Lopina.

Do prirode je, zasad su pčele u dosta dobroj kondiciji bez obzira što su proteklu zimu radile a kad previše rade troše se pa nije ni to dobro. Slijede pregledi košnica ali za sad su pozitivna gledišta. Meda bi trebalo biti ali ovisi kakav će biti kraj travnja i svibanj jer tad je ovdje u nas glavna paša – kaže pčelar iz Dubrovačkog primorja pa pojašnjava kako biljke koje najviše daju nektara cvjetaju u svibnju.

- Biljke mogu cvjetat a ne medit ako nema dovoljno vlage. Može bit sve rascvjetano a da nema nektara, tako je bilo prije dvije godine, 2022. je baš bila katastrofa. Najidealnije bi bilo da barem svakih 15 dana padne kiša – zaključuje Lopina.
