U 2020. godini, na gradsko smetlište Grabovicu građani i gospodarski subjekti u Dubrovniku u prosjeku su bacili 37,7 tona smeća dnevno. Kad se pribroje Konavljani, Župljani, Primorci i Mljećani, svakog dana u prosjeku na Grabovici završi 55,5 tona smeća, glomaznog otpada, betona, pločica, keramike i crijepa.
- Ukupna količina otpada odloženog na odlagalište Grabovica s područja grada Dubrovnika tijekom 2020. godine iznosi 13.795 tona, dok je kroz 2019. godinu iznosila 18.192 tone, odnosno 25 posto manje otpada što se izravno može pripisati smanjenoj gospodarskoj aktivnosti uslijed pandemije i izostanka pune turističke sezone – kaže Marko Iveković, direktor Čistoće.
Loša sezona, manje smeća
Po ovim podacima ispada da na Grabovicu godišnje završi 324 kilograma komunalnog smeća po glavi stanovnika Dubrovnika. No, pitanje je koliko od toga izađe iz kućanstava a koliko iz gospodarskih subjekata. Kao što kaže direktor Iveković, podbačaj turističke sezone lani je rezultirao s više od četiri tisuće tona smeća manje na području grada Dubrovnika.
- U „normalnim“ godinama, 60 posto ukupno proizvedenog otpada, odnosno odloženog na odlagalište Grabovica dolazi od fizičkih osoba, a 40 posto od gospodarskih subjekata. Riječ o našoj procjeni jer još nemamo uspostavljen sustav mjerenja količine otpada po korisniku – izjavio je Iveković.

Grabovica se sanira i zatvara već 25 godina, ali nikako da dočeka alternativno rješenje. Prostorni planovi to rješenje vide u centru za gospodarenje otpadom Lučino razdolje u Dubrovačkom primorju, potencijalno opasnom rješenju za Malostonski zaljev, upozoravaju nevladine organizacije kao i dio kandidata na lokalnim izborima. Prema podacima iz Plana gospodarenja otpadom, na Grabovicu je dosad bačeno 506 tona otpada. Lani je završena prva etapa jedne u nizu sanacija. Utvrđeno je da na Grabovicu možemo ugurati još 90 tisuća kubnih metara svoga smeća. Nakon toga slijedi druga faza sanacije i zatvaranje, no tu smo priču već čuli.
Biorazgradivi otpad
Iveković kaže kako su pomaci u povećanju društvene osviještenosti nužnog odvajanja otpada vidljivi po većem korištenju reciklažnih dvorišta i potrebi češćeg pražnjenja novopostavljenih spremnika za odvajanje otpada na javnim površinama.
- Izostanak prave turističke sezone u 2020. će dijelom utjecati i na stopu odvajanja otpada jer se upravo povećanjem gospodarske aktivnosti u turizmu povećava i prikupljanje odvojenog otpada, pogotovo papira, kartona ali i biorazgradivog otpada – komentira direktor Čistoće.

Lani su prikupljene 172,33 tone biorazgradivog otpada iz kantina i hotelskih kuhinja kojima su podijeljeni spremnici volumena 120 litara. Društvo Čistoća je u posljednje četiri godine građanima besplatno podijelilo 1.600 kućnih kompostera, zahvaljujući kojima kućanstva značajno smanjuju količinu smeća i pritom prirodnom razgradnjom organskih otpadaka dobiju ekološki prihvatljivo organsko gnojivo.

U 2020. godini, na gradsko smetlište Grabovicu građani i gospodarski subjekti u Dubrovniku u prosjeku su bacili 37,7 tona smeća dnevno. Kad se pribroje Konavljani, Župljani, Primorci i Mljećani, svakog dana u prosjeku na Grabovici završi 55,5 tona smeća, glomaznog otpada, betona, pločica, keramike i crijepa.
- Ukupna količina otpada odloženog na odlagalište Grabovica s područja grada Dubrovnika tijekom 2020. godine iznosi 13.795 tona, dok je kroz 2019. godinu iznosila 18.192 tone, odnosno 25 posto manje otpada što se izravno može pripisati smanjenoj gospodarskoj aktivnosti uslijed pandemije i izostanka pune turističke sezone – kaže Marko Iveković, direktor Čistoće.
Loša sezona, manje smeća
Po ovim podacima ispada da na Grabovicu godišnje završi 324 kilograma komunalnog smeća po glavi stanovnika Dubrovnika. No, pitanje je koliko od toga izađe iz kućanstava a koliko iz gospodarskih subjekata. Kao što kaže direktor Iveković, podbačaj turističke sezone lani je rezultirao s više od četiri tisuće tona smeća manje na području grada Dubrovnika.
- U „normalnim“ godinama, 60 posto ukupno proizvedenog otpada, odnosno odloženog na odlagalište Grabovica dolazi od fizičkih osoba, a 40 posto od gospodarskih subjekata. Riječ o našoj procjeni jer još nemamo uspostavljen sustav mjerenja količine otpada po korisniku – izjavio je Iveković.

Grabovica se sanira i zatvara već 25 godina, ali nikako da dočeka alternativno rješenje. Prostorni planovi to rješenje vide u centru za gospodarenje otpadom Lučino razdolje u Dubrovačkom primorju, potencijalno opasnom rješenju za Malostonski zaljev, upozoravaju nevladine organizacije kao i dio kandidata na lokalnim izborima. Prema podacima iz Plana gospodarenja otpadom, na Grabovicu je dosad bačeno 506 tona otpada. Lani je završena prva etapa jedne u nizu sanacija. Utvrđeno je da na Grabovicu možemo ugurati još 90 tisuća kubnih metara svoga smeća. Nakon toga slijedi druga faza sanacije i zatvaranje, no tu smo priču već čuli.
Biorazgradivi otpad
Iveković kaže kako su pomaci u povećanju društvene osviještenosti nužnog odvajanja otpada vidljivi po većem korištenju reciklažnih dvorišta i potrebi češćeg pražnjenja novopostavljenih spremnika za odvajanje otpada na javnim površinama.
- Izostanak prave turističke sezone u 2020. će dijelom utjecati i na stopu odvajanja otpada jer se upravo povećanjem gospodarske aktivnosti u turizmu povećava i prikupljanje odvojenog otpada, pogotovo papira, kartona ali i biorazgradivog otpada – komentira direktor Čistoće.

Lani su prikupljene 172,33 tone biorazgradivog otpada iz kantina i hotelskih kuhinja kojima su podijeljeni spremnici volumena 120 litara. Društvo Čistoća je u posljednje četiri godine građanima besplatno podijelilo 1.600 kućnih kompostera, zahvaljujući kojima kućanstva značajno smanjuju količinu smeća i pritom prirodnom razgradnjom organskih otpadaka dobiju ekološki prihvatljivo organsko gnojivo.
