Nakon duge i teške bolesti prije točno godinu dana 4. siječnja 2021., u 73. godini preminuo je umirovljeni general Nojko Marinović, zapovjednik obrane Dubrovnika u Domovinskom ratu.

Rođen je u mjestu Bruška u općini Benkovac, 26. rujna 1948. godine, uoči početka opsade Dubrovnika, Marinović je bio zapovjednik vojarne JNA u Trebinju, no desetak dana prije napada na Dubrovnik, 19. rujna 1991. prelazi u ZNG te donosi planove JNA za napad na grad. Odmah je imenovan zapovjednikom obrane Dubrovnika koji je s tek 700 slabo naoružanih branitelja i uspio obraniti, a 1992. godine teško je ranjen.

General Marinović je jedan od devetorice ratnih zapovjednika koje je povodom 25. obljetnice Vojno-redarstvene akcije Oluja u kolovozu ove godine u Kninu predsjednik Rh Zoran Milanović odlikovao odlikovao Redom Petra Krešimira.

- Veliki čovjek koji je bez svake sumnje spasio Dubrovnik. Od svega što se u Dubrovniku u vojnom smislu učinilo pozitivno, 99 posto je njegovo. Bio je veliki, veliki čovjek kojeg je bilo bogatstvo sresti. Bili smo povezani kroz čitav rat skoro svaki dan bili smo skupa. Doživio sam ga kao velikog čovjeka i iznimnog vojnika. Bio je sigurno jedan od tri najveća vojnika koje je Hrvatska imala u Domovinskom ratu! Nažalost, doživio je i mnogo nepravdi. Čak i u vojničkom smislu. Ovo je veliki gubitak - komentirao je lani vijest o Marinovićevoj smrti dubrovački ratni gradonačelnik Pero Poljanić.

General Veselko Gabričević koji je na mjestu zapovjednika obrane Dubrovnika naslijedio generala Marinovića, na vijest o smrti suborca je istaknuo:

- Hrvatska je ostala bez još jednog junaka Domovinskog rata. Svi znamo da je general Marinović bio glavni organizator obrane Dubrovnika i njegov doprinos obrani juga Hrvatske i Domovinskom ratu u cjelini je nemjerljiv.

Nakon duge i teške bolesti prije točno godinu dana 4. siječnja 2021., u 73. godini preminuo je umirovljeni general Nojko Marinović, zapovjednik obrane Dubrovnika u Domovinskom ratu.

Rođen je u mjestu Bruška u općini Benkovac, 26. rujna 1948. godine, uoči početka opsade Dubrovnika, Marinović je bio zapovjednik vojarne JNA u Trebinju, no desetak dana prije napada na Dubrovnik, 19. rujna 1991. prelazi u ZNG te donosi planove JNA za napad na grad. Odmah je imenovan zapovjednikom obrane Dubrovnika koji je s tek 700 slabo naoružanih branitelja i uspio obraniti, a 1992. godine teško je ranjen.

General Marinović je jedan od devetorice ratnih zapovjednika koje je povodom 25. obljetnice Vojno-redarstvene akcije Oluja u kolovozu ove godine u Kninu predsjednik Rh Zoran Milanović odlikovao odlikovao Redom Petra Krešimira.

- Veliki čovjek koji je bez svake sumnje spasio Dubrovnik. Od svega što se u Dubrovniku u vojnom smislu učinilo pozitivno, 99 posto je njegovo. Bio je veliki, veliki čovjek kojeg je bilo bogatstvo sresti. Bili smo povezani kroz čitav rat skoro svaki dan bili smo skupa. Doživio sam ga kao velikog čovjeka i iznimnog vojnika. Bio je sigurno jedan od tri najveća vojnika koje je Hrvatska imala u Domovinskom ratu! Nažalost, doživio je i mnogo nepravdi. Čak i u vojničkom smislu. Ovo je veliki gubitak - komentirao je lani vijest o Marinovićevoj smrti dubrovački ratni gradonačelnik Pero Poljanić.

General Veselko Gabričević koji je na mjestu zapovjednika obrane Dubrovnika naslijedio generala Marinovića, na vijest o smrti suborca je istaknuo:

- Hrvatska je ostala bez još jednog junaka Domovinskog rata. Svi znamo da je general Marinović bio glavni organizator obrane Dubrovnika i njegov doprinos obrani juga Hrvatske i Domovinskom ratu u cjelini je nemjerljiv.

Nakon duge i teške bolesti prije točno godinu dana 4. siječnja 2021., u 73. godini preminuo je umirovljeni general Nojko Marinović, zapovjednik obrane Dubrovnika u Domovinskom ratu.

Rođen je u mjestu Bruška u općini Benkovac, 26. rujna 1948. godine, uoči početka opsade Dubrovnika, Marinović je bio zapovjednik vojarne JNA u Trebinju, no desetak dana prije napada na Dubrovnik, 19. rujna 1991. prelazi u ZNG te donosi planove JNA za napad na grad. Odmah je imenovan zapovjednikom obrane Dubrovnika koji je s tek 700 slabo naoružanih branitelja i uspio obraniti, a 1992. godine teško je ranjen.

General Marinović je jedan od devetorice ratnih zapovjednika koje je povodom 25. obljetnice Vojno-redarstvene akcije Oluja u kolovozu ove godine u Kninu predsjednik Rh Zoran Milanović odlikovao odlikovao Redom Petra Krešimira.

- Veliki čovjek koji je bez svake sumnje spasio Dubrovnik. Od svega što se u Dubrovniku u vojnom smislu učinilo pozitivno, 99 posto je njegovo. Bio je veliki, veliki čovjek kojeg je bilo bogatstvo sresti. Bili smo povezani kroz čitav rat skoro svaki dan bili smo skupa. Doživio sam ga kao velikog čovjeka i iznimnog vojnika. Bio je sigurno jedan od tri najveća vojnika koje je Hrvatska imala u Domovinskom ratu! Nažalost, doživio je i mnogo nepravdi. Čak i u vojničkom smislu. Ovo je veliki gubitak - komentirao je lani vijest o Marinovićevoj smrti dubrovački ratni gradonačelnik Pero Poljanić.

General Veselko Gabričević koji je na mjestu zapovjednika obrane Dubrovnika naslijedio generala Marinovića, na vijest o smrti suborca je istaknuo:

- Hrvatska je ostala bez još jednog junaka Domovinskog rata. Svi znamo da je general Marinović bio glavni organizator obrane Dubrovnika i njegov doprinos obrani juga Hrvatske i Domovinskom ratu u cjelini je nemjerljiv.
