Čemu se najviše veselite u 2022. godini? Jeste li osoba koja donosi novogodišnje odluke kako bi ih mogli prekršiti već sredinom siječnja? Dok budemo na zid stavljali nove kalendare, što kao društvo možemo očekivati u budućnosti? Ja sam u principu osoba kojoj je čaša uvijek na pola puna, maksimalno se trudim u svemu i svakomu pronaći nešto dobro. Čini mi se da je jako naporno stalno biti pesimističan, puno je posla oko toga. Kad pomislim na novu godinu na pameti mi je novi početak i vrijeme za neobuzdani optimizam. Izvadimo roze naočale i slavimo!

Ni ovu kolumnu nećemo nazvati Englez u Dubrovniku, već Englez u Engleskoj. Da, napokon smo uspjeli doputovati doma za blagdane. Do samog kraja putovanja prošli smo gotovo lišo, međutim, zapelo je s papirologijom na Kanalu (La Manche), tako da smo na francuskoj obali neplanirano proveli još jednu noć. Da, da, Englezi i Francuzi vole papirologiju k’o i Hrvati (skoro). Ali, pretpostavljam da ima puno lošijih mjesta za “zapeti” nego što je gradić na obali Francuske s nepreglednom pješčanom plažom uz bonus prekrasnog sunčanog dana.

Dok smo se vozili ispod Engleskog kanala ili La Mancha (eto, ni oko toga se ne mogu dogovoriti) ta fizička spona koja bi nas trebala približiti nekako je “omanula”. Prošle su godine otkako sam zadnji put bio na mom rodnom Otoku, i iskreno, ništa se zapravo nije promijenilo. Na selu je i dalje prekrasno zeleno, ceste su loše kao i prije, a vrijeme je nepredvidljivo. Veliko obiteljsko okupljanje za Božić sadržavalo je dobro poznatu tradiciju poput prejedenja, pića, pjevanja i smijanja, i to jako puno smijanja, što nam je svima potrebno.

Smijeh liječi sve, a kad to radiš s ljudima koje voliš, to ti ga dođe kao booster doza! Fascinantno je to da bez obzira što jako dugo nisi vidio obitelj, nastaviš razgovarati o raznim temama tamo gdje si stao zadnji put, doslovno, kao da živite zajedno. Nismo pretjerivali s poklonima (živio tajni Djed Božićnjak), tako da smo svi odahnuli, međutim, “pretjerivali” smo sa smijanjem. Suze radosnice tekle su niz obraze. Doza pozitivne energije napunila me je uoči Hogmanaya, kako Škoti zovu Novu godinu.

Svi smo, a kad to kažem mislim na čovječanstvo, imali dvije vrlo izazovne godine. Dvije godine za koje nitko nije ni slutio da bi se mogle dogoditi, a u isto vrijeme dvije godine koje su nas trebale učiniti odlučnijima i snažnijima. Za sebe mogu reći da su bile vrlo motivirajuće. Uvijek je zabavnije gledati naprijed, nego unatrag. Dok se polako, ali sigurno učimo suživotu s pandemijom, pretpostavljam da će 2022. donijeti nešto slobodniji pristup svemu. Pod tim mislim da će ljudi koji su cijepljeni moći neometano živjeti i raditi.

Vjerujem da bi ova godina mogla donijeti turistički bum Dubrovniku. Svi oni razgovori o održivom turizmu i kraju masovnog turizma vjerojatno će biti pometeni ispod tapita, jer kad se novac počne okretati “što si mislio, mislio si!” Novac ima tu moć da pobriše memoriju i učini ljude zaboravnima. Ono što je mogla i trebala biti jedinstvena prilika za promjene, prometnulo se u pucu za pauzu. Ipak, razmišljajući pozitivno, primjećujem da zastarjele i trome turističke agencije pomalo odlaze kraju, a zamjenjuju ih neovisne “nitche” agencije, odnosno agencije koje su specijalizirane za pojedine vrste turističkih usluga.

To će vjerojatno povećati standard i osnažiti kreativne tokove i ideje. I to je dobar put prema naprijed. Godina 2022. bit će za pamćenje, ali iz pravih razloga.

Čemu se najviše veselite u 2022. godini? Jeste li osoba koja donosi novogodišnje odluke kako bi ih mogli prekršiti već sredinom siječnja? Dok budemo na zid stavljali nove kalendare, što kao društvo možemo očekivati u budućnosti? Ja sam u principu osoba kojoj je čaša uvijek na pola puna, maksimalno se trudim u svemu i svakomu pronaći nešto dobro. Čini mi se da je jako naporno stalno biti pesimističan, puno je posla oko toga. Kad pomislim na novu godinu na pameti mi je novi početak i vrijeme za neobuzdani optimizam. Izvadimo roze naočale i slavimo!

Ni ovu kolumnu nećemo nazvati Englez u Dubrovniku, već Englez u Engleskoj. Da, napokon smo uspjeli doputovati doma za blagdane. Do samog kraja putovanja prošli smo gotovo lišo, međutim, zapelo je s papirologijom na Kanalu (La Manche), tako da smo na francuskoj obali neplanirano proveli još jednu noć. Da, da, Englezi i Francuzi vole papirologiju k’o i Hrvati (skoro). Ali, pretpostavljam da ima puno lošijih mjesta za “zapeti” nego što je gradić na obali Francuske s nepreglednom pješčanom plažom uz bonus prekrasnog sunčanog dana.

Dok smo se vozili ispod Engleskog kanala ili La Mancha (eto, ni oko toga se ne mogu dogovoriti) ta fizička spona koja bi nas trebala približiti nekako je “omanula”. Prošle su godine otkako sam zadnji put bio na mom rodnom Otoku, i iskreno, ništa se zapravo nije promijenilo. Na selu je i dalje prekrasno zeleno, ceste su loše kao i prije, a vrijeme je nepredvidljivo. Veliko obiteljsko okupljanje za Božić sadržavalo je dobro poznatu tradiciju poput prejedenja, pića, pjevanja i smijanja, i to jako puno smijanja, što nam je svima potrebno.

Smijeh liječi sve, a kad to radiš s ljudima koje voliš, to ti ga dođe kao booster doza! Fascinantno je to da bez obzira što jako dugo nisi vidio obitelj, nastaviš razgovarati o raznim temama tamo gdje si stao zadnji put, doslovno, kao da živite zajedno. Nismo pretjerivali s poklonima (živio tajni Djed Božićnjak), tako da smo svi odahnuli, međutim, “pretjerivali” smo sa smijanjem. Suze radosnice tekle su niz obraze. Doza pozitivne energije napunila me je uoči Hogmanaya, kako Škoti zovu Novu godinu.

Svi smo, a kad to kažem mislim na čovječanstvo, imali dvije vrlo izazovne godine. Dvije godine za koje nitko nije ni slutio da bi se mogle dogoditi, a u isto vrijeme dvije godine koje su nas trebale učiniti odlučnijima i snažnijima. Za sebe mogu reći da su bile vrlo motivirajuće. Uvijek je zabavnije gledati naprijed, nego unatrag. Dok se polako, ali sigurno učimo suživotu s pandemijom, pretpostavljam da će 2022. donijeti nešto slobodniji pristup svemu. Pod tim mislim da će ljudi koji su cijepljeni moći neometano živjeti i raditi.

Vjerujem da bi ova godina mogla donijeti turistički bum Dubrovniku. Svi oni razgovori o održivom turizmu i kraju masovnog turizma vjerojatno će biti pometeni ispod tapita, jer kad se novac počne okretati “što si mislio, mislio si!” Novac ima tu moć da pobriše memoriju i učini ljude zaboravnima. Ono što je mogla i trebala biti jedinstvena prilika za promjene, prometnulo se u pucu za pauzu. Ipak, razmišljajući pozitivno, primjećujem da zastarjele i trome turističke agencije pomalo odlaze kraju, a zamjenjuju ih neovisne “nitche” agencije, odnosno agencije koje su specijalizirane za pojedine vrste turističkih usluga.

To će vjerojatno povećati standard i osnažiti kreativne tokove i ideje. I to je dobar put prema naprijed. Godina 2022. bit će za pamćenje, ali iz pravih razloga.

Novogodišnja prognoza: Sve razgovore o kraju masovnog turizma pomest ćemo pod tapit čim krene sezona. Novac je jači od održivog turizma

Čemu se najviše veselite u 2022. godini? Jeste li osoba koja donosi novogodišnje odluke kako bi ih mogli prekršiti već sredinom siječnja? Dok budemo na zid stavljali nove kalendare, što kao društvo možemo očekivati u budućnosti? Ja sam u principu osoba kojoj je čaša uvijek na pola puna, maksimalno se trudim u svemu i svakomu pronaći nešto dobro. Čini mi se da je jako naporno stalno biti pesimističan, puno je posla oko toga. Kad pomislim na novu godinu na pameti mi je novi početak i vrijeme za neobuzdani optimizam. Izvadimo roze naočale i slavimo!

Ni ovu kolumnu nećemo nazvati Englez u Dubrovniku, već Englez u Engleskoj. Da, napokon smo uspjeli doputovati doma za blagdane. Do samog kraja putovanja prošli smo gotovo lišo, međutim, zapelo je s papirologijom na Kanalu (La Manche), tako da smo na francuskoj obali neplanirano proveli još jednu noć. Da, da, Englezi i Francuzi vole papirologiju k’o i Hrvati (skoro). Ali, pretpostavljam da ima puno lošijih mjesta za “zapeti” nego što je gradić na obali Francuske s nepreglednom pješčanom plažom uz bonus prekrasnog sunčanog dana.

Dok smo se vozili ispod Engleskog kanala ili La Mancha (eto, ni oko toga se ne mogu dogovoriti) ta fizička spona koja bi nas trebala približiti nekako je “omanula”. Prošle su godine otkako sam zadnji put bio na mom rodnom Otoku, i iskreno, ništa se zapravo nije promijenilo. Na selu je i dalje prekrasno zeleno, ceste su loše kao i prije, a vrijeme je nepredvidljivo. Veliko obiteljsko okupljanje za Božić sadržavalo je dobro poznatu tradiciju poput prejedenja, pića, pjevanja i smijanja, i to jako puno smijanja, što nam je svima potrebno.

Smijeh liječi sve, a kad to radiš s ljudima koje voliš, to ti ga dođe kao booster doza!
