[fulltext] => Na Županijskom sudu u Dubrovniku donijeta je odluka da će se Kneževini Monako izručiti Jonathan Taylor, jedan od najpoznatijih svjetskih zviždača. Podsjetimo, britanski odvjetnik uhićen je u dubrovačkoj zračnoj luci pri dolasku na godišnji odmor, a na temelju naloga Interpola zbog navodne ucjene, donosi
rtl.hr.
On pak tvrdi da mu se žele osvetiti jer je 2012. godine razotkrio višemilijunsku prijevaru tvrtke smještene u Monaku. Odluku hrvatskog suda i daljnje planove komentirao je za RTL.
Kada smo posljednji put sredinom kolovoza razgovarali s Taylorom, mislio je da će se ubrzo vratiti kući u Veliku Britaniju, no odlukom dubrovačkog suda mogao bi završiti u zatvoru u Monaku.
"Prijavu protiv mene podnio je SBM Offshore, najveći poslodavac Kneževine, 2014. godine. U šest godina od tada nije napravljen nijedan pokušaj mojeg izručenja iz Velike Britanije u kojoj sam bio cijelo vrijeme. Bojim se da Monako misli da Hrvatska ima manje rigorozan pravni sustav i da će me izručiti što je, naravno, potpuno pogrešno", izjavio je Taylor.
Odluku Županijskog suda u Dubrovniku zbog uplaćene jamčevine dočekao je izvan zatvora, no dva puta na tjedan mora se javljati policiji, iz Hrvatske ne smije izići. Kneževina Monako traži ga zbog navodnog pokušaja iznude.
"Utvrđuje se da je udovoljeno zakonskim pretpostavkama za izručenje Kneževini Monako. (...) Izručenje Kneževini Monako izručeniku neće biti ugrožena prava iz članka 19. povelje budući da je Kneževina Monako država s izrazito visokim pravnim standardima", stoji u rješenju Županijskog suda u Dubrovniku.
Taylor tvrdi da mu se u Monaku žele osvetiti jer je 2012. kao odvjetnik u spornoj tvrtci razotkrio višemilIjunsku aferu u kojoj je multinacionalna naftna kompanija iz Nizozemske podmićivala brojne tvrtke kako bi zauzvrat dobila unosne poslove. Ubrzo postaje ključni svjedok američkim i nizozemskim istražiteljima.
"Odgovor suda vrlo je legalistički. Ističe da su pravne formalnosti ispunjene, bez razmatranja pitanja ljudskih prava, činjenice da je naš klijent zviždač i zaštićeni svjedok, i to je jako razočaravajuća odluka", rekao je britanski odvjetnik Toby Cadman.
Odvjetnik tvrdi i da su podnijeli prijavu Interpolu kako bi osporili zakonitost naloga za uhićenjem koja je sada na razmatranju. Iako je tjeralica izdana u svibnju, a od tada je bio i u Francuskoj, Jonathan je uhićen tek na hrvatskom teritoriju kada je s obitelji došao na odmor.
"Ovo je moj sedmi tjedan od kako sam ovdje. Jako sam nestrpljiv da Vrhovni sud što prije donese ispravnu odluku. Moja obitelj je slomljena. Proveo sam pet dana u zatvoru. Izgubit ću posao. Moram ići kući što prije", poručio je Taylor.
Iz nadležnog ministarstva kažu da dosad nisu zaprimili odluku nadležnog suda, a kada ona stigne, nakon Vrhovnog suda konačnu odluku donosi ministar pravosuđa. Ako se donese odluka o izručenju, odvjetnici poručuju, cijeli slučaj predat će Europskom sudu za ljudska prava, donosi

[text] => {OCMSplitter}Na Županijskom sudu u Dubrovniku donijeta je odluka da će se Kneževini Monako izručiti Jonathan Taylor, jedan od najpoznatijih svjetskih zviždača. Podsjetimo, britanski odvjetnik uhićen je u dubrovačkoj zračnoj luci pri dolasku na godišnji odmor, a na temelju naloga Interpola zbog navodne ucjene, donosi
rtl.hr.
On pak tvrdi da mu se žele osvetiti jer je 2012. godine razotkrio višemilijunsku prijevaru tvrtke smještene u Monaku. Odluku hrvatskog suda i daljnje planove komentirao je za RTL.
Kada smo posljednji put sredinom kolovoza razgovarali s Taylorom, mislio je da će se ubrzo vratiti kući u Veliku Britaniju, no odlukom dubrovačkog suda mogao bi završiti u zatvoru u Monaku.
"Prijavu protiv mene podnio je SBM Offshore, najveći poslodavac Kneževine, 2014. godine. U šest godina od tada nije napravljen nijedan pokušaj mojeg izručenja iz Velike Britanije u kojoj sam bio cijelo vrijeme. Bojim se da Monako misli da Hrvatska ima manje rigorozan pravni sustav i da će me izručiti što je, naravno, potpuno pogrešno", izjavio je Taylor.
Odluku Županijskog suda u Dubrovniku zbog uplaćene jamčevine dočekao je izvan zatvora, no dva puta na tjedan mora se javljati policiji, iz Hrvatske ne smije izići. Kneževina Monako traži ga zbog navodnog pokušaja iznude.
"Utvrđuje se da je udovoljeno zakonskim pretpostavkama za izručenje Kneževini Monako. (...) Izručenje Kneževini Monako izručeniku neće biti ugrožena prava iz članka 19. povelje budući da je Kneževina Monako država s izrazito visokim pravnim standardima", stoji u rješenju Županijskog suda u Dubrovniku.
Taylor tvrdi da mu se u Monaku žele osvetiti jer je 2012. kao odvjetnik u spornoj tvrtci razotkrio višemilIjunsku aferu u kojoj je multinacionalna naftna kompanija iz Nizozemske podmićivala brojne tvrtke kako bi zauzvrat dobila unosne poslove. Ubrzo postaje ključni svjedok američkim i nizozemskim istražiteljima.
"Odgovor suda vrlo je legalistički. Ističe da su pravne formalnosti ispunjene, bez razmatranja pitanja ljudskih prava, činjenice da je naš klijent zviždač i zaštićeni svjedok, i to je jako razočaravajuća odluka", rekao je britanski odvjetnik Toby Cadman.
Odvjetnik tvrdi i da su podnijeli prijavu Interpolu kako bi osporili zakonitost naloga za uhićenjem koja je sada na razmatranju. Iako je tjeralica izdana u svibnju, a od tada je bio i u Francuskoj, Jonathan je uhićen tek na hrvatskom teritoriju kada je s obitelji došao na odmor.
"Ovo je moj sedmi tjedan od kako sam ovdje. Jako sam nestrpljiv da Vrhovni sud što prije donese ispravnu odluku. Moja obitelj je slomljena. Proveo sam pet dana u zatvoru. Izgubit ću posao. Moram ići kući što prije", poručio je Taylor.
Iz nadležnog ministarstva kažu da dosad nisu zaprimili odluku nadležnog suda, a kada ona stigne, nakon Vrhovnog suda konačnu odluku donosi ministar pravosuđa. Ako se donese odluka o izručenju, odvjetnici poručuju, cijeli slučaj predat će Europskom sudu za ljudska prava, donosi
