Iako je današnji broj zaraženih na području Splitsko-dalmatinske županije šokantno velik, imunolog prof. dr. Zlatko Trobonjača nada se kako se ipak radi o nagomilanim božićnim zaostacima kad ljudi nisu išli na testiranje i kad su se u manjem obimu radile PCR analize, piše Slobodna Dalmacija.
- Jučer su vjerojatno obrađeni i oni testovi koji su uzeti ranije, stoga ćemo o stvarnoj epidemiološkoj situaciji biti pametniji u srijedu i četvrtak, budući te dane gledamo kao referentne u tjednu. Ako bi i tada imali ovako veliki udio zaraženih u broju testiranih u Splitsko-dalmatinskoj županiji, onda bismo mogli reći da se omikron počeo značajnije širiti - objašnjava riječki imunolog.
Inače, Splitsko-dalmatinska županija je na samome dnu po broju procijepljenih u Hrvatskoj, kao i susjedne Šibensko-kninska i Zadarska tako da se tu može očekivati vrlo snažan udar omikrona.
Prof. Trobonjača kaže nam kako na moguće jače širenje soja omikron ne treba samo gledati sa zabrinutošću jer se do sad pokazalo da je taj soj koronavirusa zarazniji, ali manje virulentan odnosno da izaziva slabije simptome bolesti.

- Onda je možda i bolje da se ljudi imuniziraju s tim sojem, a ne nekim drugim opasnijim. Time će se onemogućiti da se drugi sojevi u većoj mjeri šire i dolaze u populaciju koja ima određenu imunost. No, problem je u tzv. velikim brojkama, a to vidimo i u nekim europskim zemljama gdje se omikron počeo širiti eksplozivno, da bez obzira na to što se procjenjuje da će uzrokovati lakše oblike bolesti, obzirom na njegovo brzo širenje može dovesti do naglog povećanog broja hospitalizacija i težih oblika bolesti. I to se onda pokušava spriječiti jačim epidemiološkim mjerama kako bi se, na neki način, ograničila brzina ulaska omikrona u društvo i držala dinamika epidemije – objašnjava prof. Trobonjača.
Kad krene jači udar omikrona u Hrvatskoj, Stožer će, smatra dr. Zlatko Trobonjača morati pojačati epidemiološke mjere.
Danas su u Splitsko-dalmatinskoj i Dubrovačko-neretvanskoj županiji srušeni dosadašnji rekordi pandemije, u a splitskoj je pozitivan svaki drugi test (od 1843 obrađena testa čak je 957 pozitivnih). U Dubrovačko-neretvanskoj su 333 nova slučaja zaraze, što je također rekordan broj novooboljelih od početka epidemije. U Šibensko - kninskoj 187 osoba je oboljelo od COVID-a, a u Zadarskoj 194.
U Hrvatskoj je u posljednja 24 sata zabilježeno je 4.139 novih slučajeva zaraze virusom SARS-CoV-2. Među njima je 1.851 pacijenata na bolničkom liječenju, a 50 osoba je preminulo.

Iako je današnji broj zaraženih na području Splitsko-dalmatinske županije šokantno velik, imunolog prof. dr. Zlatko Trobonjača nada se kako se ipak radi o nagomilanim božićnim zaostacima kad ljudi nisu išli na testiranje i kad su se u manjem obimu radile PCR analize, piše Slobodna Dalmacija.
- Jučer su vjerojatno obrađeni i oni testovi koji su uzeti ranije, stoga ćemo o stvarnoj epidemiološkoj situaciji biti pametniji u srijedu i četvrtak, budući te dane gledamo kao referentne u tjednu. Ako bi i tada imali ovako veliki udio zaraženih u broju testiranih u Splitsko-dalmatinskoj županiji, onda bismo mogli reći da se omikron počeo značajnije širiti - objašnjava riječki imunolog.
Inače, Splitsko-dalmatinska županija je na samome dnu po broju procijepljenih u Hrvatskoj, kao i susjedne Šibensko-kninska i Zadarska tako da se tu može očekivati vrlo snažan udar omikrona.
Prof. Trobonjača kaže nam kako na moguće jače širenje soja omikron ne treba samo gledati sa zabrinutošću jer se do sad pokazalo da je taj soj koronavirusa zarazniji, ali manje virulentan odnosno da izaziva slabije simptome bolesti.

- Onda je možda i bolje da se ljudi imuniziraju s tim sojem, a ne nekim drugim opasnijim. Time će se onemogućiti da se drugi sojevi u većoj mjeri šire i dolaze u populaciju koja ima određenu imunost. No, problem je u tzv. velikim brojkama, a to vidimo i u nekim europskim zemljama gdje se omikron počeo širiti eksplozivno, da bez obzira na to što se procjenjuje da će uzrokovati lakše oblike bolesti, obzirom na njegovo brzo širenje može dovesti do naglog povećanog broja hospitalizacija i težih oblika bolesti. I to se onda pokušava spriječiti jačim epidemiološkim mjerama kako bi se, na neki način, ograničila brzina ulaska omikrona u društvo i držala dinamika epidemije – objašnjava prof. Trobonjača.
Kad krene jači udar omikrona u Hrvatskoj, Stožer će, smatra dr. Zlatko Trobonjača morati pojačati epidemiološke mjere.
Danas su u Splitsko-dalmatinskoj i Dubrovačko-neretvanskoj županiji srušeni dosadašnji rekordi pandemije, u a splitskoj je pozitivan svaki drugi test (od 1843 obrađena testa čak je 957 pozitivnih). U Dubrovačko-neretvanskoj su 333 nova slučaja zaraze, što je također rekordan broj novooboljelih od početka epidemije. U Šibensko - kninskoj 187 osoba je oboljelo od COVID-a, a u Zadarskoj 194.
U Hrvatskoj je u posljednja 24 sata zabilježeno je 4.139 novih slučajeva zaraze virusom SARS-CoV-2. Među njima je 1.851 pacijenata na bolničkom liječenju, a 50 osoba je preminulo.
