EU i Sjedinjene Države istodobno ali na različite načine kreću s postavljanjem pravila igre na tržištu kriptovaluta. Već se dugo priča kako treba regulirati ulogu i način trgovanja kriptovalutama, ali sada regulatori izlaze s prvim informacijama o tome kako bi ta regulativa mogla izgledati. Tržište kriptovaluta loše je reagiralo na informacije iz EU i SAD-a. Bitcoin je ponovo pao na razinu ispod 30.000 dolara, dok je kod niza po volumenu manjih kriptovaluta također zabilježio slični, 5-postotni pad, piše Jutarnji.

Europska komisija inzistirat će na tome kako se vlasništvo nad kriptovalutama mora utvrditi i pratiti. Komisija želi postaviti pravila prema kojoj će kompanije koje upravljaju virtualnom imovinom doći pod nadzor tijela koje se bave sprečavanjem pranja novca te će im biti propisana minimalna razina transparentnosti kod transfera kripto imovine. Kompanije koje za klijente upravljaju kriptovalutama morat će registrirati ime klijenta, adresu, godinu rođenja i broj računa, što znači kako anonimni novčanici s kriptovalutama neće biti dopušteni. Procjenjuje se da će za primjenu takvog regulatornog rješenja trebati oko dvije godine.

„Ako znamo kako su transferi virtualne imovine na sličan način izloženi riziku pranja novca ili financiranja terorizma kao i drugi digitalni oblici prijenosa sredstava, logično je koristiti iste legislativne instrumente kako bi adresirali problem“, poručuju iz Komisije.

S druge strane oceana šefica američkog Treasurya, Janet Yellen, najavila je brzu akciju američke vlade u postavljanju regulacije za stablecoine. Stablecoini su brzorastuća vrsta digitalnih valuta koje su vezane uz neku drugu valutu, kao što je američki dolara. Zbog te karakteristike stablecoina u Sjedinjenim državama procjenjuju kako on može imati korisnu ulogu kao sredstvo plaćanja, ali se moraju postaviti rješenja koja će štiti korisnike stablecoina i financijski sustav.

Bob Seeman, poduzetnik u high techu i autor knjige „Bitcoin: Nelicencirano klađenje“ komentirao je kako je pitanje vremena kad će vlade početi koristiti postojeći zakonski okvir da se bore protiv „bitcoin Ponzi sheme“. Ponzi shema poznati je oblik prevare koji se ponavljao tijekom povijesti: mali broj početnih „ulagača“ navlači nove naivne „investitore“, a cijene kao i ukupni iznos uloženog novca raste, sve dok ne ponestane novih naivaca te dolazi do urušavanja sheme u kojoj najveći dio naivnih gubi sve ili veći dio toga što su uložili u Ponzi piramidu. Postoji teorija prema kojem je bitcoin najveća globalna Ponzi shema u povijesti.

Bob Seeman vjeruje kako će vlade za trgovinu valutama poput bitcoina nametnuti ista pravila licenciranja kao ona koja reguliraju klađenje. Cilj te regulatorne akcije biti će, između ostalog, nadzor vlade nad svakom transakcijom bitcoinom uz ubiranje poreza kao da se radilo o okladi.

U slučaju da vlade krenu tim smjerom, može se pretpostaviti kako će niz kriptovaluta prestati biti atraktivna imovina za spekulativna odnosno vrlo rizična ulaganja koja se doista u svojoj suštini ne razlikuju puno od klađenja.

Čak i ako zakonodavci ne počnu tretirati tržišta kriptovaluta kao kladionice, za očekivati je da će im u roku nekoliko godina nametnuti strogi nadzor i pravila poslovanja. Jedan od razloga za to jest činjenica da trenutačno 95 centralnih banaka razmišlja o uvođenju digitalne valute, a nema niti jednog nacionalnog monetarnog sustava koji želi prepustiti emisiju novca nereguliranom tržištu. Naime, emisija novca, pa makar i digitalnog, jedna je od karakteristika suverenosti, piše Jutarnji.

EU i Sjedinjene Države istodobno ali na različite načine kreću s postavljanjem pravila igre na tržištu kriptovaluta. Već se dugo priča kako treba regulirati ulogu i način trgovanja kriptovalutama, ali sada regulatori izlaze s prvim informacijama o tome kako bi ta regulativa mogla izgledati. Tržište kriptovaluta loše je reagiralo na informacije iz EU i SAD-a. Bitcoin je ponovo pao na razinu ispod 30.000 dolara, dok je kod niza po volumenu manjih kriptovaluta također zabilježio slični, 5-postotni pad, piše Jutarnji.

Europska komisija inzistirat će na tome kako se vlasništvo nad kriptovalutama mora utvrditi i pratiti. Komisija želi postaviti pravila prema kojoj će kompanije koje upravljaju virtualnom imovinom doći pod nadzor tijela koje se bave sprečavanjem pranja novca te će im biti propisana minimalna razina transparentnosti kod transfera kripto imovine. Kompanije koje za klijente upravljaju kriptovalutama morat će registrirati ime klijenta, adresu, godinu rođenja i broj računa, što znači kako anonimni novčanici s kriptovalutama neće biti dopušteni. Procjenjuje se da će za primjenu takvog regulatornog rješenja trebati oko dvije godine.

„Ako znamo kako su transferi virtualne imovine na sličan način izloženi riziku pranja novca ili financiranja terorizma kao i drugi digitalni oblici prijenosa sredstava, logično je koristiti iste legislativne instrumente kako bi adresirali problem“, poručuju iz Komisije.

S druge strane oceana šefica američkog Treasurya, Janet Yellen, najavila je brzu akciju američke vlade u postavljanju regulacije za stablecoine. Stablecoini su brzorastuća vrsta digitalnih valuta koje su vezane uz neku drugu valutu, kao što je američki dolara. Zbog te karakteristike stablecoina u Sjedinjenim državama procjenjuju kako on može imati korisnu ulogu kao sredstvo plaćanja, ali se moraju postaviti rješenja koja će štiti korisnike stablecoina i financijski sustav.

Bob Seeman, poduzetnik u high techu i autor knjige „Bitcoin: Nelicencirano klađenje“ komentirao je kako je pitanje vremena kad će vlade početi koristiti postojeći zakonski okvir da se bore protiv „bitcoin Ponzi sheme“. Ponzi shema poznati je oblik prevare koji se ponavljao tijekom povijesti: mali broj početnih „ulagača“ navlači nove naivne „investitore“, a cijene kao i ukupni iznos uloženog novca raste, sve dok ne ponestane novih naivaca te dolazi do urušavanja sheme u kojoj najveći dio naivnih gubi sve ili veći dio toga što su uložili u Ponzi piramidu. Postoji teorija prema kojem je bitcoin najveća globalna Ponzi shema u povijesti.

Bob Seeman vjeruje kako će vlade za trgovinu valutama poput bitcoina nametnuti ista pravila licenciranja kao ona koja reguliraju klađenje. Cilj te regulatorne akcije biti će, između ostalog, nadzor vlade nad svakom transakcijom bitcoinom uz ubiranje poreza kao da se radilo o okladi.

U slučaju da vlade krenu tim smjerom, može se pretpostaviti kako će niz kriptovaluta prestati biti atraktivna imovina za spekulativna odnosno vrlo rizična ulaganja koja se doista u svojoj suštini ne razlikuju puno od klađenja.

Čak i ako zakonodavci ne počnu tretirati tržišta kriptovaluta kao kladionice, za očekivati je da će im u roku nekoliko godina nametnuti strogi nadzor i pravila poslovanja. Jedan od razloga za to jest činjenica da trenutačno 95 centralnih banaka razmišlja o uvođenju digitalne valute, a nema niti jednog nacionalnog monetarnog sustava koji želi prepustiti emisiju novca nereguliranom tržištu. Trgovina bitcoinima registrirati će se kao klađenje, nadzirati i oporezivati

EU i Sjedinjene Države istodobno ali na različite načine kreću s postavljanjem pravila igre na tržištu kriptovaluta. Već se dugo priča kako treba regulirati ulogu i način trgovanja kriptovalutama, ali sada regulatori izlaze s prvim informacijama o tome kako bi ta regulativa mogla izgledati. Tržište kriptovaluta loše je reagiralo na informacije iz EU i SAD-a. Bitcoin je ponovo pao na razinu ispod 30.000 dolara, dok je kod niza po volumenu manjih kriptovaluta također zabilježio slični, 5-postotni pad, piše Jutarnji.

Europska komisija inzistirat će na tome kako se vlasništvo nad kriptovalutama mora utvrditi i pratiti. Komisija želi postaviti pravila prema kojoj će kompanije koje upravljaju virtualnom imovinom doći pod nadzor tijela koje se bave sprečavanjem pranja novca te će im biti propisana minimalna razina transparentnosti kod transfera kripto imovine. Kompanije koje za klijente upravljaju kriptovalutama morat će registrirati ime klijenta, adresu, godinu rođenja i broj računa, što znači kako anonimni novčanici s kriptovalutama neće biti dopušteni. Procjenjuje se da će za primjenu takvog regulatornog rješenja trebati oko dvije godine.

„Ako znamo kako su transferi virtualne imovine na sličan način izloženi riziku pranja novca ili financiranja terorizma kao i drugi digitalni oblici prijenosa sredstava, logično je koristiti iste legislativne instrumente kako bi adresirali problem“, poručuju iz Komisije.

S druge strane oceana šefica američkog Treasurya, Janet Yellen, najavila je brzu akciju američke vlade u postavljanju regulacije za stablecoine. Stablecoini su brzorastuća vrsta digitalnih valuta koje su vezane uz neku drugu valutu, kao što je američki dolara. Zbog te karakteristike stablecoina u Sjedinjenim državama procjenjuju kako on može imati korisnu ulogu kao sredstvo plaćanja, ali se moraju postaviti rješenja koja će štiti korisnike stablecoina i financijski sustav.

Bob Seeman, poduzetnik u high techu i autor knjige „Bitcoin: Nelicencirano klađenje“ komentirao je kako je pitanje vremena kad će vlade početi koristiti postojeći zakonski okvir da se bore protiv „bitcoin Ponzi sheme“. Ponzi shema poznati je oblik prevare koji se ponavljao tijekom povijesti: mali broj početnih „ulagača“ navlači nove naivne „investitore“, a cijene kao i ukupni iznos uloženog novca raste, sve dok ne ponestane novih naivaca te dolazi do urušavanja sheme u kojoj najveći dio naivnih gubi sve ili veći dio toga što su uložili u Ponzi piramidu. Postoji teorija prema kojem je bitcoin najveća globalna Ponzi shema u povijesti.

Bob Seeman vjeruje kako će vlade za trgovinu valutama poput bitcoina nametnuti ista pravila licenciranja kao ona koja reguliraju klađenje. Cilj te regulatorne akcije biti će, između ostalog, nadzor vlade nad svakom transakcijom bitcoinom uz ubiranje poreza kao da se radilo o okladi.

U slučaju da vlade krenu tim smjerom, može se pretpostaviti kako će niz kriptovaluta prestati biti atraktivna imovina za spekulativna odnosno vrlo rizična ulaganja koja se doista u svojoj suštini ne razlikuju puno od klađenja.
