Tornado je u srijedu prošao kroz gradić Matador na sjeveru američke savezne države Teksas, pri čemu je poginulo četvero ljudi, ozlijeđeno je nekoliko drugih osoba, a oštećeno je najmanje desetak zgrada, rekli su dužnosnici.

"Tornado bez presedana" spustio se na tlo u osam sati navečer po lokalnom vremenu te u malu zajednicu od otprilike 600 mještana doveo razarajuće vjetrove, prema vatrogasnoj službi iz Lubbocka, otprilike 150 kilometara od Matadora. Vatrogasci iz Lubbocka jedna su od nekoliko hitnih službi iz pokrajine koje su se priključile spasilačkim naporima.

Najmanje deset osoba je prebačeno u obližnje bolnice, od kojih je jedna umrla, rekla je policija na tiskovnoj konferenciji u četvrtak ujutro.

"Grad ove veličine s tako malim stanovništvom, s količinom štete koju su iskusili - ne samo materijalna šteta, nego je i veoma značajan gospodarski i emocionalni učinak koji će ovo imati na grad", rekao je glasnogovornik vatrogasaca iz Lubbocka Derek Delgado.

Videosnimke izrađene nakon prolaska tornada prikazuju niz kuća sravnjenih sa zemljom te srušene dalekovode. Dvadesetak vozila hitnih službi je osvjetljavalo mračnu cestu u videu, koji je objavila vatrogasna služba iz Lubbocka.

Većina stanovnika u okrugu Motley, kojem je Matador sjedište, ostala je bez električne energije, prema internetskoj stranici poweroutage.us. Prestanak opskrbom električne energije zabilježen je i 209 kilometara južno od Matadora.

Tehničari se nadaju da će vratiti električnu energiju u Matador do petka navečer nakon što je oluja uništila trafostanicu.

Državni meteorološki zavod je oko osam sati navečer izdao upozorenje o tornadu koji se kreće prema Matadoru i pozvao je mještane da se sklone.

Jedan ili više tornada pogodili su prošlog tjedna grad Perryton u Teksasu, pri čemu je poginulo najmanje troje ljudi, a deseci su ozlijeđeni. Stotine domova, od kojih su mnogi bili u kampu prikolica, oštećeni su ili uništeni.

Tornado je u srijedu prošao kroz gradić Matador na sjeveru američke savezne države Teksas, pri čemu je poginulo četvero ljudi, ozlijeđeno je nekoliko drugih osoba, a oštećeno je najmanje desetak zgrada, rekli su dužnosnici.

"Tornado bez presedana" spustio se na tlo u osam sati navečer po lokalnom vremenu te u malu zajednicu od otprilike 600 mještana doveo razarajuće vjetrove, prema vatrogasnoj službi iz Lubbocka, otprilike 150 kilometara od Matadora. Vatrogasci iz Lubbocka jedna su od nekoliko hitnih službi iz pokrajine koje su se priključile spasilačkim naporima.

Najmanje deset osoba je prebačeno u obližnje bolnice, od kojih je jedna umrla, rekla je policija na tiskovnoj konferenciji u četvrtak ujutro.

"Grad ove veličine s tako malim stanovništvom, s količinom štete koju su iskusili - ne samo materijalna šteta, nego je i veoma značajan gospodarski i emocionalni učinak koji će ovo imati na grad", rekao je glasnogovornik vatrogasaca iz Lubbocka Derek Delgado.

Videosnimke izrađene nakon prolaska tornada prikazuju niz kuća sravnjenih sa zemljom te srušene dalekovode. Dvadesetak vozila hitnih službi je osvjetljavalo mračnu cestu u videu, koji je objavila vatrogasna služba iz Lubbocka.

Većina stanovnika u okrugu Motley, kojem je Matador sjedište, ostala je bez električne energije, prema internetskoj stranici poweroutage.us. Prestanak opskrbom električne energije zabilježen je i 209 kilometara južno od Matadora.

Tehničari se nadaju da će vratiti električnu energiju u Matador do petka navečer nakon što je oluja uništila trafostanicu.

Državni meteorološki zavod je oko osam sati navečer izdao upozorenje o tornadu koji se kreće prema Matadoru i pozvao je mještane da se sklone.

Jedan ili više tornada pogodili su prošlog tjedna grad Perryton u Teksasu, pri čemu je poginulo najmanje troje ljudi, a deseci su ozlijeđeni. Stotine domova, od kojih su mnogi bili u kampu prikolica, oštećeni su ili uništeni.

‘Tornado bez presedana‘ pogodio Teksas: poginulo četvero ljudi, padali dalekovodi, a deseci kuća sravnjeno sa zemljom

Tornado je u srijedu prošao kroz gradić Matador na sjeveru američke savezne države Teksas, pri čemu je poginulo četvero ljudi, ozlijeđeno je nekoliko drugih osoba, a oštećeno je najmanje desetak zgrada, rekli su dužnosnici.

"Tornado bez presedana" spustio se na tlo u osam sati navečer po lokalnom vremenu te u malu zajednicu od otprilike 600 mještana doveo razarajuće vjetrove, prema vatrogasnoj službi iz Lubbocka, otprilike 150 kilometara od Matadora. Vatrogasci iz Lubbocka jedna su od nekoliko hitnih službi iz pokrajine koje su se priključile spasilačkim naporima.

Najmanje deset osoba je prebačeno u obližnje bolnice, od kojih je jedna umrla, rekla je policija na tiskovnoj konferenciji u četvrtak ujutro.

"Grad ove veličine s tako malim stanovništvom, s količinom štete koju su iskusili - ne samo materijalna šteta, nego je i veoma značajan gospodarski i emocionalni učinak koji će ovo imati na grad", rekao je glasnogovornik vatrogasaca iz Lubbocka Derek Delgado.

Videosnimke izrađene nakon prolaska tornada prikazuju niz kuća sravnjenih sa zemljom te srušene dalekovode. Dvadesetak vozila hitnih službi je osvjetljavalo mračnu cestu u videu, koji je objavila vatrogasna služba iz Lubbocka.

Većina stanovnika u okrugu Motley, kojem je Matador sjedište, ostala je bez električne energije, prema internetskoj stranici poweroutage.us. Prestanak opskrbom električne energije zabilježen je i 209 kilometara južno od Matadora.

Tehničari se nadaju da će vratiti električnu energiju u Matador do petka navečer nakon što je oluja uništila trafostanicu.

Državni meteorološki zavod je oko osam sati navečer izdao upozorenje o tornadu koji se kreće prema Matadoru i pozvao je mještane da se sklone.

Jedan ili više tornada pogodili su prošlog tjedna grad Perryton u Teksasu, pri čemu je poginulo najmanje troje ljudi, a deseci su ozlijeđeni. Stotine domova, od kojih su mnogi bili u kampu prikolica, oštećeni su ili uništeni.
