Nakon što je Vlada Republike Litve otkrila da mobiteli kineskih proizvođača imaju ugrađene opcije za cenzuriranje, litavsko Ministarstvo obrane preporučilo je potrošačima da ne kupuju kineske mobitele, a onima koji ih već posjeduju savjetovalo je da ih bace, piše CNN, a prenosi Jutarnji.

Nacionalni centar za kibernetičku sigurnost Ministarstva obrane Republike Litve u utorak je konstatirao da mobiteli tvrtke Xiaomi koji se prodaju na europskom tržištu mogu prepoznati i cenzurirati termine poput "Oslobodite Tibet (eng. Free Tibet)", "Živio nezavisni Tajvan (eng. Long live Taiwan independence)" i "demokratski pokret (eng. democracy movement)".

U izvještaju Centra stoji da je mogućnost prepoznavanja i cenzuriranja ugrađena u model Mi 10T 5G, ali da je isključena za Europsku uniju. Međutim, Centar kaže da se ta opcija može uključiti bilo kada.

- Preporučujemo potrošačima da ne kupuju kineske mobitele te da se onih koje posjeduju riješe što je prije moguće - rekao je zamjenik ministra obrane Margiris Abukevicius prilikom predstavljanja izvještaja Centra.

Xiaomi nije komentirao navode litavskog ministarstva.

Inače, odnosi Litve i Kine u posljednje su vrijeme prilično napeti.

Kina je prošlog tjedna od Litve zatražila da povuče svog ambasadora u Pekingu, a rekla je i da će povući svoj izaslanika u Vilniusu nakon što je Tajvan objavio da će se njegova misija u Litvi zvao Ured tajvanskog predstavnika.

Tajvanske misije u Europi i Sjedinjenim Američkim Državama koriste ime grada Taipeija te izbjegavaju ime otoka koji Kina drži svojim teritorijem.

Jake Sullivan, savjetnik za nacionalnu sigurnost američkom predsjednika Joea Bidena, prošlog je tjedna razgovarao s premijerkom Litve Ingridom Šimonyte i naglasio da će SAD zbog pritiska Kine Litvi dati podršku.

Nacionalni centar za kibernetičku sigurnost Ministarstva obrane Republike Litve u svom je izvještaju također rekao da Xiaomijev mobitel Mi 10T 5G šifrirane podatke o upotrebi mobitela šalje na server u Singapuru.

Sigurnosni propust pronađen je i u Huaweijevom mobitelu P40 5G. U mobitelima proizvođača OnePlus nisu locirani sigurnosni propusti.

Predstavnik Huaweija za baltičku regiju rekao je za medije da tvrtkini mobiteli ne šalju korisničke podatke na eksterne lokacije.

U izvještaju litavskog Centra stoji da popis termina koje mogu poslužiti kao okidač za cenzuriranje sadržava 449 pojmova te da se stalno ažurira. Navedeno je da cenzuru mogu provoditi sistemske aplikacije Xiaomijevih mobitela i zadani pretraživač interneta.

- Ovo je važno za sve zemlje koje koriste Xiaomijevu opremu, a ne samo Litvu - stoji u izvještaju Centra, prenosi Jutarnji.

Nakon što je Vlada Republike Litve otkrila da mobiteli kineskih proizvođača imaju ugrađene opcije za cenzuriranje, litavsko Ministarstvo obrane preporučilo je potrošačima da ne kupuju kineske mobitele, a onima koji ih već posjeduju savjetovalo je da ih bace, piše CNN, a prenosi Jutarnji.

Nacionalni centar za kibernetičku sigurnost Ministarstva obrane Republike Litve u utorak je konstatirao da mobiteli tvrtke Xiaomi koji se prodaju na europskom tržištu mogu prepoznati i cenzurirati termine poput "Oslobodite Tibet (eng. Free Tibet)", "Živio nezavisni Tajvan (eng. Long live Taiwan independence)" i "demokratski pokret (eng. democracy movement)".

U izvještaju Centra stoji da je mogućnost prepoznavanja i cenzuriranja ugrađena u model Mi 10T 5G, ali da je isključena za Europsku uniju. Međutim, Centar kaže da se ta opcija može uključiti bilo kada.

- Preporučujemo potrošačima da ne kupuju kineske mobitele te da se onih koje posjeduju riješe što je prije moguće - rekao je zamjenik ministra obrane Margiris Abukevicius prilikom predstavljanja izvještaja Centra.

Xiaomi nije komentirao navode litavskog ministarstva.

Inače, odnosi Litve i Kine u posljednje su vrijeme prilično napeti.

Kina je prošlog tjedna od Litve zatražila da povuče svog ambasadora u Pekingu, a rekla je i da će povući svoj izaslanika u Vilniusu nakon što je Tajvan objavio da će se njegova misija u Litvi zvao Ured tajvanskog predstavnika.

Tajvanske misije u Europi i Sjedinjenim Američkim Državama koriste ime grada Taipeija te izbjegavaju ime otoka koji Kina drži svojim teritorijem.

Jake Sullivan, savjetnik za nacionalnu sigurnost američkom predsjednika Joea Bidena, prošlog je tjedna razgovarao s premijerkom Litve Ingridom Šimonyte i naglasio da će SAD zbog pritiska Kine Litvi dati podršku.

Nacionalni centar za kibernetičku sigurnost Ministarstva obrane Republike Litve u svom je izvještaju također rekao da Xiaomijev mobitel Mi 10T 5G šifrirane podatke o upotrebi mobitela šalje na server u Singapuru.

Sigurnosni propust pronađen je i u Huaweijevom mobitelu P40 5G. U mobitelima proizvođača OnePlus nisu locirani sigurnosni propusti.

Predstavnik Huaweija za baltičku regiju rekao je za medije da tvrtkini mobiteli ne šalju korisničke podatke na eksterne lokacije.

U izvještaju litavskog Centra stoji da popis termina koje mogu poslužiti kao okidač za cenzuriranje sadržava 449 pojmova te da se stalno ažurira. Navedeno je da cenzuru mogu provoditi sistemske aplikacije Xiaomijevih mobitela i zadani pretraživač interneta.

- Ovo je važno za sve zemlje koje koriste Xiaomijevu opremu, a ne samo Litvu - stoji u izvještaju Centra, prenosi Jutarnji.

Litvance pozvali da bace kineske mobitele zbog ugrađenog programa za cenzuru

Nakon što je Vlada Republike Litve otkrila da mobiteli kineskih proizvođača imaju ugrađene opcije za cenzuriranje, litavsko Ministarstvo obrane preporučilo je potrošačima da ne kupuju kineske mobitele, a onima koji ih već posjeduju savjetovalo je da ih bace, piše CNN, a prenosi Jutarnji.

Nacionalni centar za kibernetičku sigurnost Ministarstva obrane Republike Litve u utorak je konstatirao da mobiteli tvrtke Xiaomi koji se prodaju na europskom tržištu mogu prepoznati i cenzurirati termine poput "Oslobodite Tibet (eng. Free Tibet)", "Živio nezavisni Tajvan (eng. Long live Taiwan independence)" i "demokratski pokret (eng. democracy movement)".

U izvještaju Centra stoji da je mogućnost prepoznavanja i cenzuriranja ugrađena u model Mi 10T 5G, ali da je isključena za Europsku uniju. Međutim, Centar kaže da se ta opcija može uključiti bilo kada.

- Preporučujemo potrošačima da ne kupuju kineske mobitele te da se onih koje posjeduju riješe što je prije moguće - rekao je zamjenik ministra obrane Margiris Abukevicius prilikom predstavljanja izvještaja Centra.

Xiaomi nije komentirao navode litavskog ministarstva.

Inače, odnosi Litve i Kine u posljednje su vrijeme prilično napeti.

Kina je prošlog tjedna od Litve zatražila da povuče svog ambasadora u Pekingu, a rekla je i da će povući svoj izaslanika u Vilniusu nakon što je Tajvan objavio da će se njegova misija u Litvi zvao Ured tajvanskog predstavnika.

Tajvanske misije u Europi i Sjedinjenim Američkim Državama koriste ime grada Taipeija te izbjegavaju ime otoka koji Kina drži svojim teritorijem.

Jake Sullivan, savjetnik za nacionalnu sigurnost američkom predsjednika Joea Bidena, prošlog je tjedna razgovarao s premijerkom Litve Ingridom Šimonyte i naglasio da će SAD zbog pritiska Kine Litvi dati podršku.

Nacionalni centar za kibernetičku sigurnost Ministarstva obrane Republike Litve u svom je izvještaju također rekao da Xiaomijev mobitel Mi 10T 5G šifrirane podatke o upotrebi mobitela šalje na server u Singapuru.

Sigurnosni propust pronađen je i u Huaweijevom mobitelu P40 5G. U mobitelima proizvođača OnePlus nisu locirani sigurnosni propusti.

Predstavnik Huaweija za baltičku regiju rekao je za medije da tvrtkini mobiteli ne šalju korisničke podatke na eksterne lokacije.

U izvještaju litavskog Centra stoji da popis termina koje mogu poslužiti kao okidač za cenzuriranje sadržava 449 pojmova te da se stalno ažurira. Navedeno je da cenzuru mogu provoditi sistemske aplikacije Xiaomijevih mobitela i zadani pretraživač interneta.

- Ovo je važno za sve zemlje koje koriste Xiaomijevu opremu, a ne samo Litvu - stoji u izvještaju Centra, prenosi Jutarnji.
