Znanstvenik Ivan Đikić gostovao je u Novom danu i komentirao stanje s pandemijom koronavirusa, za koju ističe da nije još gotova.

Broj od šest milijuna ljudi u svijetu koji su umrli od covida govori da je ovo jedna od najozbiljnijih pandemija s kojom smo se suočili. Jedina veća bila je epidemija gripe 1918. godine, rekao je Đikić.

Podaci iz Azije, Velike Britanije i drugih zemalja pokazuju da je virus i dalje oko nas i da se širi, upozorio je naš znanstvenik.

“Svaka zemlja ima svoju dinamiku širenja virusa. Mogu krenuti od Hrvatske. U Hrvatskoj imamo jednu ozbiljnu situaciju da nam je četvrti i peti val potpuno spojen. Smrtnost u Hrvatskoj je gotovo stalna od 30 do 50 ljudi dnevno. Iako imamo pad broja novozaraženih, u Hrvatskoj situacija još uvijek nije dovoljno stabilna da bismo mogli reći da smo se riješili omikrona. Mjere ne dolaze na vrijeme, uvode se prekasno, malo testiramo i u tome je problem”, rekao je Đikić.

Rekao je da se u Njemačkoj ukida većina mjera i da će do ljeta pratiti situaciju i po tome dalje reagirati.

“Za Kinu ne znamo sve podatke, ali važniji su brojevi iz Hong Konga. On je kao ogledalo Kine, samo što je puno manji. Imali su vrlo mali broj zaraženih i umrlih, ali se kod njih krajem prosinca pojavio omikron pa danas imaju dosta ozbiljnu situaciju”, rekao je Đikić, dodavši da je situacija ozbiljna iz dva razloga.

“Dosad su imali vrlo rigorozne mjere i populacija nije bila u susretu s virusom, a cijepljenje koje su provodili bilo je s relativno slabijim cjepivom, koje je imalo slabiju učinkovitost i dugotrajnost je manja, a imaju i relativno mali broj cijepljenih starijih osoba, pa je problem i s povećanjem broja umrlih”, rekao je Đikić.

Što se Velike Britanije tiče, Đikić je rekao da situacija pokazuje da dio populacije nije procijepljen ni imun te da će se ljude trebati ponovno potaknuti da se zaštite cijepljenjem.

“Najvažnije u borbi protiv covida dobra je priprema i pravovremeno djelovanje. Prvo cjepiva, lijekovi i vrlo efikasne i brze vrste testiranja. I američka administracija je otišla dalje od svih i pokazala na koji način imaju strategiju borbe protiv sadašnjih i nadolazećih varijanti virusa. Testiranje, lijekovi i pravodobno cijepljenje linije su obrane obrane i na temelju toga, u kliničkim ispitivanjima su sada cjepiva koja su prilagođena na sve mutacije, ti klinički pokusi će biti gotovi za mjesec-dva, i onda ćemo imati bolje vrste koje će nas štititi od naprednijih vrsta virusa koje imamo u populaciji. Predviđanje je da će zemlje morati osigurati nove valove cijepljenja za populaciju, pogotovo za one koji to žele i u tom slučaju očekivanja su da ćemo krajem ljeta i početkom listopada imati novi val cijepljenja koji će nas štititi 3-6 mjeseci i da ćemo na taj način kontrolirati pandemiju i da neće biti toliko rigoroznih mjera”, rekao je Đikić.

Kampanja cijepljenja treba početi sada, dodao je. “Trebamo educirati građane da nam ujesen dolazi ne samo nastavak pandemije covida, nego i gripa”, rekao je Đikić za N1.

Znanstvenik Ivan Đikić gostovao je u Novom danu i komentirao stanje s pandemijom koronavirusa, za koju ističe da nije još gotova.

Broj od šest milijuna ljudi u svijetu koji su umrli od covida govori da je ovo jedna od najozbiljnijih pandemija s kojom smo se suočili. Jedina veća bila je epidemija gripe 1918. godine, rekao je Đikić.

Podaci iz Azije, Velike Britanije i drugih zemalja pokazuju da je virus i dalje oko nas i da se širi, upozorio je naš znanstvenik.

“Svaka zemlja ima svoju dinamiku širenja virusa. Mogu krenuti od Hrvatske. U Hrvatskoj imamo jednu ozbiljnu situaciju da nam je četvrti i peti val potpuno spojen. Smrtnost u Hrvatskoj je gotovo stalna od 30 do 50 ljudi dnevno. Iako imamo pad broja novozaraženih, u Hrvatskoj situacija još uvijek nije dovoljno stabilna da bismo mogli reći da smo se riješili omikrona. Mjere ne dolaze na vrijeme, uvode se prekasno, malo testiramo i u tome je problem”, rekao je Đikić.

Rekao je da se u Njemačkoj ukida većina mjera i da će do ljeta pratiti situaciju i po tome dalje reagirati.

“Za Kinu ne znamo sve podatke, ali važniji su brojevi iz Hong Konga. On je kao ogledalo Kine, samo što je puno manji. Imali su vrlo mali broj zaraženih i umrlih, ali se kod njih krajem prosinca pojavio omikron pa danas imaju dosta ozbiljnu situaciju”, rekao je Đikić, dodavši da je situacija ozbiljna iz dva razloga.

“Dosad su imali vrlo rigorozne mjere i populacija nije bila u susretu s virusom, a cijepljenje koje su provodili bilo je s relativno slabijim cjepivom, koje je imalo slabiju učinkovitost i dugotrajnost je manja, a imaju i relativno mali broj cijepljenih starijih osoba, pa je problem i s povećanjem broja umrlih”, rekao je Đikić.

Što se Velike Britanije tiče, Đikić je rekao da situacija pokazuje da dio populacije nije procijepljen ni imun te da će se ljude trebati ponovno potaknuti da se zaštite cijepljenjem.

“Najvažnije u borbi protiv covida dobra je priprema i pravovremeno djelovanje. Prvo cjepiva, lijekovi i vrlo efikasne i brze vrste testiranja. I američka administracija je otišla dalje od svih i pokazala na koji način imaju strategiju borbe protiv sadašnjih i nadolazećih varijanti virusa. Ivan Đikić: Epidemija nije gotova, jesen donosi novi val i cijepljenje

Znanstvenik Ivan Đikić gostovao je u Novom danu i komentirao stanje s pandemijom koronavirusa, za koju ističe da nije još gotova.

Broj od šest milijuna ljudi u svijetu koji su umrli od covida govori da je ovo jedna od najozbiljnijih pandemija s kojom smo se suočili. Jedina veća bila je epidemija gripe 1918. godine, rekao je Đikić.

Podaci iz Azije, Velike Britanije i drugih zemalja pokazuju da je virus i dalje oko nas i da se širi, upozorio je naš znanstvenik.

“Svaka zemlja ima svoju dinamiku širenja virusa. Mogu krenuti od Hrvatske. U Hrvatskoj imamo jednu ozbiljnu situaciju da nam je četvrti i peti val potpuno spojen. Smrtnost u Hrvatskoj je gotovo stalna od 30 do 50 ljudi dnevno. Iako imamo pad broja novozaraženih, u Hrvatskoj situacija još uvijek nije dovoljno stabilna da bismo mogli reći da smo se riješili omikrona. Mjere ne dolaze na vrijeme, uvode se prekasno, malo testiramo i u tome je problem”, rekao je Đikić.

Rekao je da se u Njemačkoj ukida većina mjera i da će do ljeta pratiti situaciju i po tome dalje reagirati.

“Za Kinu ne znamo sve podatke, ali važniji su brojevi iz Hong Konga. On je kao ogledalo Kine, samo što je puno manji. Imali su vrlo mali broj zaraženih i umrlih, ali se kod njih krajem prosinca pojavio omikron pa danas imaju dosta ozbiljnu situaciju”, rekao je Đikić, dodavši da je situacija ozbiljna iz dva razloga.

“Dosad su imali vrlo rigorozne mjere i populacija nije bila u susretu s virusom, a cijepljenje koje su provodili bilo je s relativno slabijim cjepivom, koje je imalo slabiju učinkovitost i dugotrajnost je manja, a imaju i relativno mali broj cijepljenih starijih osoba, pa je problem i s povećanjem broja umrlih”, rekao je Đikić.

Što se Velike Britanije tiče, Đikić je rekao da situacija pokazuje da dio populacije nije procijepljen ni imun te da će se ljude trebati ponovno potaknuti da se zaštite cijepljenjem.

“Najvažnije u borbi protiv covida dobra je priprema i pravovremeno djelovanje. Prvo cjepiva, lijekovi i vrlo efikasne i brze vrste testiranja. I američka administracija je otišla dalje od svih i pokazala na koji način imaju strategiju borbe protiv sadašnjih i nadolazećih varijanti virusa.
