- Iran će morati pronaći novi način da Hamasu nastavi slati novce - samozadovoljno su zaključili vojnici izraelskog IDF-a nakon što su 2019. likvidirali Hamida Ahmeda Khudarija, za kojeg je postojala opravdana sumnja da služi kao knjigovođa Hamasa, piše Jutarnji list.

Međutim, Khudarija je zamijenio palestinski poduzetnik Zuhair Shamlakh, a on se odlučio na taktiku koja se ubrzo ispostavila toliko uspješnom da je postala okosnica financiranja Hamasa - kriptovalute. Na samome početku transakcije su bile male i simbolične, nerijetko u sklopu šire crowdfunding kampanje i donacija simpatizera. No, već oko 2020. na zamračene račune Hamasa počeli su "kapati" sve izdašniji iznosi.

WSJ objavljuje ekskluzivnu analizu kojom se utvrđuje kako je izraelski ured za borbu protiv financiranja terorizma od 2021. presreo nekoliko suspektnih transakcija. Naime, analitička firma BitOK iz Tel Aviva, koja se bavi financijskim softverima, presrela je račun kodnog imena NBCTF na kojem je bio iznos u protuvrijednosti od 41 milijun dolara, a uskoro je po novom nalogu "sjela" i nova donacija od 93 milijuna dolara.

Na prvi pogled djelovalo je kao legitiman biznis, no ubrzo se ispostavilo da je riječ o paravanu koji je uspješno zamračio nekoliko stotina milijuna eura.

Otkad je SAD još 1997., tijekom administracije Billa Clintona, Hamas proglasio terorističkom organizacijom i time im drastično ograničio pristup međunarodnom bankarskom sustavu, palestinski su teroristi za transfer novca koristili elaborirani sustav "hawala" koji je, iako se koristi u mnogim dijelovima svijeta, najzastupljeniji u muslimanskim zemljama. Temeljna okosnica tog sustava odnosi se na povjerenje između tzv. "hawaladara", pojedinca ili entiteta koji djeluju kao posrednici u transakciji, a bitna karakteristika je i nedostatak fizičkog prijenosa novca između zemalja. No, tu je metodu bitno lakše presretati, pa su izraelski obavještajci uspješno locirali Hamasove donatore iz Libanona, Sirije i Turske.

Izraelsko ministarstvo obrane za WSJ tvrdi da su presreli i desetke milijuna dolara, koliko je s računa Iranske revolucionarne garde donirano kompaniji Al Mutahadun u većinskom vlasništvu spomenutog palestinskog biznismena Shamlakha, za koje su posumnjali da služe za nabavu oružja Al-Qassam brigadi.

Izraelski Ured za borbu protiv financiranja terorizma 2021. poduzeo je niz akcija protiv kompanije Al Mutahadun, a u toj je raciji identificirano čak 47 zasebnih računa na Binanceu, najvećoj svjetskoj burzi. Ispostavilo se, tada, kako je Hamas sredstva primao i od Garantexa, velike ruske kriptoburze koja je od početka invazije Ukrajine pod američkim sankcijama. Predstavnica dotične firme WSJ-u je izjavila da se pridržavaju svih međunarodnih standarda usklađenosti s financijskim kriminalom.

Zastupništvo Irana pri Ujedinjenim narodima nije željelo komentirati upit redakcije WSJ-a.

- Iran će morati pronaći novi način da Hamasu nastavi slati novce - samozadovoljno su zaključili vojnici izraelskog IDF-a nakon što su 2019. likvidirali Hamida Ahmeda Khudarija, za kojeg je postojala opravdana sumnja da služi kao knjigovođa Hamasa, piše Jutarnji list.

Međutim, Khudarija je zamijenio palestinski poduzetnik Zuhair Shamlakh, a on se odlučio na taktiku koja se ubrzo ispostavila toliko uspješnom da je postala okosnica financiranja Hamasa - kriptovalute. Na samome početku transakcije su bile male i simbolične, nerijetko u sklopu šire crowdfunding kampanje i donacija simpatizera. No, već oko 2020. na zamračene račune Hamasa počeli su "kapati" sve izdašniji iznosi.

WSJ objavljuje ekskluzivnu analizu kojom se utvrđuje kako je izraelski ured za borbu protiv financiranja terorizma od 2021. presreo nekoliko suspektnih transakcija. Naime, analitička firma BitOK iz Tel Aviva, koja se bavi financijskim softverima, presrela je račun kodnog imena NBCTF na kojem je bio iznos u protuvrijednosti od 41 milijun dolara, a uskoro je po novom nalogu "sjela" i nova donacija od 93 milijuna dolara.

Na prvi pogled djelovalo je kao legitiman biznis, no ubrzo se ispostavilo da je riječ o paravanu koji je uspješno zamračio nekoliko stotina milijuna eura.

Otkad je SAD još 1997., tijekom administracije Billa Clintona, Hamas proglasio terorističkom organizacijom i time im drastično ograničio pristup međunarodnom bankarskom sustavu, palestinski su teroristi za transfer novca koristili elaborirani sustav "hawala" koji je, iako se koristi u mnogim dijelovima svijeta, najzastupljeniji u muslimanskim zemljama. Temeljna okosnica tog sustava odnosi se na povjerenje između tzv. "hawaladara", pojedinca ili entiteta koji djeluju kao posrednici u transakciji, a bitna karakteristika je i nedostatak fizičkog prijenosa novca između zemalja. No, tu je metodu bitno lakše presretati, pa su izraelski obavještajci uspješno locirali Hamasove donatore iz Libanona, Sirije i Turske.

Izraelsko ministarstvo obrane za WSJ tvrdi da su presreli i desetke milijuna dolara, koliko je s računa Iranske revolucionarne garde donirano kompaniji Al Mutahadun u većinskom vlasništvu spomenutog palestinskog biznismena Shamlakha, za koje su posumnjali da služe za nabavu oružja Al-Qassam brigadi.

Izraelski Ured za borbu protiv financiranja terorizma 2021. poduzeo je niz akcija protiv kompanije Al Mutahadun, a u toj je raciji identificirano čak 47 zasebnih računa na Binanceu, najvećoj svjetskoj burzi. Ispostavilo se, tada, kako je Hamas sredstva primao i od Garantexa, velike ruske kriptoburze koja je od početka invazije Ukrajine pod američkim sankcijama. Predstavnica dotične firme WSJ-u je izjavila da se pridržavaju svih međunarodnih standarda usklađenosti s financijskim kriminalom.

Zastupništvo Irana pri Ujedinjenim narodima nije željelo komentirati upit redakcije WSJ-a.

- Iran će morati pronaći novi način da Hamasu nastavi slati novce - samozadovoljno su zaključili vojnici izraelskog IDF-a nakon što su 2019. likvidirali Hamida Ahmeda Khudarija, za kojeg je postojala opravdana sumnja da služi kao knjigovođa Hamasa, piše Jutarnji list.

Međutim, Khudarija je zamijenio palestinski poduzetnik Zuhair Shamlakh, a on se odlučio na taktiku koja se ubrzo ispostavila toliko uspješnom da je postala okosnica financiranja Hamasa - kriptovalute. Na samome početku transakcije su bile male i simbolične, nerijetko u sklopu šire crowdfunding kampanje i donacija simpatizera. No, već oko 2020. na zamračene račune Hamasa počeli su "kapati" sve izdašniji iznosi.

WSJ objavljuje ekskluzivnu analizu kojom se utvrđuje kako je izraelski ured za borbu protiv financiranja terorizma od 2021. presreo nekoliko suspektnih transakcija. Naime, analitička firma BitOK iz Tel Aviva, koja se bavi financijskim softverima, presrela je račun kodnog imena NBCTF na kojem je bio iznos u protuvrijednosti od 41 milijun dolara, a uskoro je po novom nalogu "sjela" i nova donacija od 93 milijuna dolara.

Na prvi pogled djelovalo je kao legitiman biznis, no ubrzo se ispostavilo da je riječ o paravanu koji je uspješno zamračio nekoliko stotina milijuna eura.

Otkad je SAD još 1997., tijekom administracije Billa Clintona, Hamas proglasio terorističkom organizacijom i time im drastično ograničio pristup međunarodnom bankarskom sustavu, palestinski su teroristi za transfer novca koristili elaborirani sustav "hawala" koji je, iako se koristi u mnogim dijelovima svijeta, najzastupljeniji u muslimanskim zemljama. Temeljna okosnica tog sustava odnosi se na povjerenje između tzv. "hawaladara", pojedinca ili entiteta koji djeluju kao posrednici u transakciji, a bitna karakteristika je i nedostatak fizičkog prijenosa novca između zemalja. No, tu je metodu bitno lakše presretati, pa su izraelski obavještajci uspješno locirali Hamasove donatore iz Libanona, Sirije i Turske.

Izraelsko ministarstvo obrane za WSJ tvrdi da su presreli i desetke milijuna dolara, koliko je s računa Iranske revolucionarne garde donirano kompaniji Al Mutahadun u većinskom vlasništvu spomenutog palestinskog biznismena Shamlakha, za koje su posumnjali da služe za nabavu oružja Al-Qassam brigadi.
