Ako ste ovih dana naletjeli na fotografije iz sunčanog Dubaija pomislili ste zasigurno da se ondje život vratio u normalu. Grad blještavila na arapskom poluotoku privlači zadnjih mjeseci brojne turiste, osobito one iz Europe, koji žele pobjeći od zime i strogog lockdowna.
Unatoč postojećim epidemiološkim mjerama zadnjih je tjedana pandemija opet u zamahu. Brojke su se od studenoga u Dubaiju utrostručile, piše CNN, a prenosi Jutarnji list.
Dok su u studenome imali dnevno oko 1.200 slučajeva koronavirusa dnevno, brojke su nakon Nove godine počele rapidno rasti, a 30. siječnja dosegnule su vrhunac sa 3.647 slučajeva na dan.
Unatoč rastu broja zaraženih, fotografije iz Dubaija, osobito na Instagram profilima poznatih osoba, svjedoče o bezbrižnom odmoru u sunčanom raju.
Mnogi influenceri na Instagramu doživjeli su oštre kritike u domovinu gdje većini ljudi, zbog strogog lockdowna, nije dopušteno napuštati dom, niti prelaziti granicu.
Kritike
Danska turistkinja Emma Mathilde, koja zadnjih mjeseci često posjećuje Dubai, nije iznenađena kritikama.
- U Europi su svi zatvoreni u kućama, hladno je i tmurno, a Dubai je jedino mjesto kamo možete otputovati. Ima sunca, možete jesti u restoranima i normalno je da su ljudi bijesni jer moraju biti doma dok drugi žive život punim plućima, rekla je.
Unatoč lošem odjeku u medijima, Ujedinjeni Arapski Emirati uvjereni su da je poštivanje epidemioloških mjera bilo u skladu s očekivanjima.
- Situaciji pristupamo vrlo odmjereno, ali naša je filozofija da bismo trebali uspješno prebroditi ovu pandemiju, izjavio je Helal Saeed Al Marri, glavni direktor Ministarstva za turizam u Dubaiju.
- Ako od svih zatražimo da promjene svoje ponašanje 100%, malo je vjerojatno da ćemo ih u potpunosti uskladiti. MI smo tražili od ljudi da prilagode svoje ponašanje i nauče živjeti u novom normalnom i ljudi su to prihvatili.
Al Marri je uvjeren da ponašanje pojedinaca neće narušiti reputaciju Dubaija.
- Ako se prošećete ulicama Dubaija vidjet ćete da svi nose maske. Ako netko ne nosi masku, neće ga upozoriti nitko od nadležnih vlasti, nego će to učiniti neki prolaznik jer smo tako naučili živjeti u vremenu covida, rekao je.
Brojka od gotovo 4.000 zaraženih po danu odrazila se na stanje u bolnicama koje su postale preopterećene, ali neki stručnjaci ističu da odgovornost za porast broja zaraženih ne snose nužno turisti.
Puno "gastarbajtera"
U Dubaiju živi čak 85% doseljenika, a mnogi su u prosincu ili za božićne praznike otputovali u domovinu ili su umjesto putovanja bili na novogodišnjim proslavama.
Al Marri naglašava kako grad analizira učinkovitost epidemioloških mjera dok pokušava održati gospodarstvo živim. Kada su početkom siječnja uočili porast slučajeva pooštrili su mjere.
Od utorka su klubovi na plaži, hoteli i trgovački centri ograničeni na 70 posto kapaciteta, a kina na 50 posto. Privremeno su zatvoreni barovi i pubovi, a predviđene su strože kazne za prekršitelje pravila.
- Mislim da vlasti UAE-a odlično upravljaju pandemijom. Posve se razlikuje od europskog pristupa gdje je broj novozaraženih još uvijek visok, a gospodarstvo jako pati. Vlada ravnoteža između osluškivanja ljudi, brige o ljudima te brige o tvrtkama koje moraju preživjeti pandemiju.
I cijepljenje je dio borbe protiv pandemije. Ujedinjeni Arapski Emirati imaju jednu od najviših stopa vakcinacije u svijetu. Više od četiri milijuna doza je distribuirano među populacijom od 10 milijuna. Vlada ima plan cijepiti polovicu stanovništva do kraja ožujka.
- Zdravstvene vlasti zajedno sa znanstvenicima preporučuju epidemiološke mjere koje se donose u suradnji s privatnim sektorom. Nastojimo ih implementirani na najbolji mogući način.
Godina 2021. iznimno je značajna za Dubai, s gospodarskog, ali i turističkog aspekta. U listopadu bi Dubai trebao ugostiti Sajam Expo, nakon što ga je prošle godine zbog pandemije morao odgoditi, donosi Jutarnji list.

Ako ste ovih dana naletjeli na fotografije iz sunčanog Dubaija pomislili ste zasigurno da se ondje život vratio u normalu. Grad blještavila na arapskom poluotoku privlači zadnjih mjeseci brojne turiste, osobito one iz Europe, koji žele pobjeći od zime i strogog lockdowna.
Unatoč postojećim epidemiološkim mjerama zadnjih je tjedana pandemija opet u zamahu. Brojke su se od studenoga u Dubaiju utrostručile, piše CNN, a prenosi Jutarnji list.
Dok su u studenome imali dnevno oko 1.200 slučajeva koronavirusa dnevno, brojke su nakon Nove godine počele rapidno rasti, a 30. siječnja dosegnule su vrhunac sa 3.647 slučajeva na dan.
Unatoč rastu broja zaraženih, fotografije iz Dubaija, osobito na Instagram profilima poznatih osoba, svjedoče o bezbrižnom odmoru u sunčanom raju.
Mnogi influenceri na Instagramu doživjeli su oštre kritike u domovinu gdje većini ljudi, zbog strogog lockdowna, nije dopušteno napuštati dom, niti prelaziti granicu.
Kritike
Danska turistkinja Emma Mathilde, koja zadnjih mjeseci često posjećuje Dubai, nije iznenađena kritikama.
- U Europi su svi zatvoreni u kućama, hladno je i tmurno, a Dubai je jedino mjesto kamo možete otputovati. Ima sunca, možete jesti u restoranima i normalno je da su ljudi bijesni jer moraju biti doma dok drugi žive život punim plućima, rekla je.
Unatoč lošem odjeku u medijima, Ujedinjeni Arapski Emirati uvjereni su da je poštivanje epidemioloških mjera bilo u skladu s očekivanjima.
- Situaciji pristupamo vrlo odmjereno, ali naša je filozofija da bismo trebali uspješno prebroditi ovu pandemiju, izjavio je Helal Saeed Al Marri, glavni direktor Ministarstva za turizam u Dubaiju.
- Ako od svih zatražimo da promjene svoje ponašanje 100%, malo je vjerojatno da ćemo ih u potpunosti uskladiti. MI smo tražili od ljudi da prilagode svoje ponašanje i nauče živjeti u novom normalnom i ljudi su to prihvatili.
Al Marri je uvjeren da ponašanje pojedinaca neće narušiti reputaciju Dubaija.
- Ako se prošećete ulicama Dubaija vidjet ćete da svi nose maske. Ako netko ne nosi masku, neće ga upozoriti nitko od nadležnih vlasti, nego će to učiniti neki prolaznik jer smo tako naučili živjeti u vremenu covida, rekao je.
Brojka od gotovo 4.000 zaraženih po danu odrazila se na stanje u bolnicama koje su postale preopterećene, ali neki stručnjaci ističu da odgovornost za porast broja zaraženih ne snose nužno turisti.
Puno "gastarbajtera"
U Dubaiju živi čak 85% doseljenika, a mnogi su u prosincu ili za božićne praznike otputovali u domovinu ili su umjesto putovanja bili na novogodišnjim proslavama.
Al Marri naglašava kako grad analizira učinkovitost epidemioloških mjera dok pokušava održati gospodarstvo živim. Kada su početkom siječnja uočili porast slučajeva pooštrili su mjere.
Od utorka su klubovi na plaži, hoteli i trgovački centri ograničeni na 70 posto kapaciteta, a kina na 50 posto. Privremeno su zatvoreni barovi i pubovi, a predviđene su strože kazne za prekršitelje pravila.
- Mislim da vlasti UAE-a odlično upravljaju pandemijom. Posve se razlikuje od europskog pristupa gdje je broj novozaraženih još uvijek visok, a gospodarstvo jako pati. Vlada ravnoteža između osluškivanja ljudi, brige o ljudima te brige o tvrtkama koje moraju preživjeti pandemiju.
I cijepljenje je dio borbe protiv pandemije. Ujedinjeni Arapski Emirati imaju jednu od najviših stopa vakcinacije u svijetu. Više od četiri milijuna doza je distribuirano među populacijom od 10 milijuna. Vlada ima plan cijepiti polovicu stanovništva do kraja ožujka.
- Zdravstvene vlasti zajedno sa znanstvenicima preporučuju epidemiološke mjere koje se donose u suradnji s privatnim sektorom. Nastojimo ih implementirani na najbolji mogući način.
Godina 2021. iznimno je značajna za Dubai, s gospodarskog, ali i turističkog aspekta. U listopadu bi Dubai trebao ugostiti Sajam Expo, nakon što ga je prošle godine zbog pandemije morao odgoditi, donosi Jutarnji list.
