Startala je festa pod jedrima, Viška regata, njeno 78. izdanje, koje je okupilo oko 2000 jedriličara ne samo iz Hrvatske.

- Dobro smo se spremili. Očekivali smo, prema vremenskoj prognozi, ovakvu situaciju prvog dana. Dakle, bio je lagani levanat do pola kanala. Plan nam je bio ići što bliže Braču, te hvatat tramuntanu. Među prvima smo to uspjeli, uz Brač i Mrduju smo bez stajanja prošli kroz splitska vrata kao četvrti brod. To je bila prva prepreka. Slovenci su tad bili prvi, samo još Polet i Fatamorgana ispred nas... U kanalu smo vidjeli, gledajući prema Visu, kako probija tramuntana. Cilj je bio uhvatit je, te što prije i brže doći do Visa. To smo odlično odradili. Četvrti ukupno po realnom vremenu, a prvi smo po ORC-u. Moramo bit zadovoljni prvom etapom, više nego zadovoljni s obzirom kako je dosta većih brodova iza nas – priča Denis Vukas u čijim rukama je kormilo Dubrovnika.

Još prije starta, u domu Labuda, ‘sudarila‘ se posada Dubrovnika svako malo s pitanjem: ‘Jeste li spremni za četvrti naslov?‘.

- Jedrenje je nepredvidivo, vjetar može okrenut u trenutku kad si prvi, te na kraju budeš zadnji, a onaj zadnji može bit prvi... Trebat će napravit opet dobru strategiju u nedjelju, kad krećemo natrag s Visa prema Splitu. Želja je da uđemo opet među prvima u Split. Ako to uspijemo, trebalo bi opet biti dobro – dodaje Vukas s kojim su Maroje Kurajica, Ivo Kvestić, Tonči Kordić, Davor Dužević, Gogo Sentić i Alec Cvinar.

Ukupno su tri bandjere Orsana među deset prvih prošle ciljem prve etape. Odmah iza Dubrovnika bila je Stravaganza s Nikom Kmetovićem, a Južni vjetar s legendarnim Jadranom Gamulinom deseti. Plus treba spomenuti LeeLoo Jedriličarskog kluba Ploče sailing s kormilarom Teom Marinovićem, koji je imao trinaesto vrijeme, dok je Regina Jedriličarskog kluba Cavtat s Nikolom Zečevićem bila po realnom vremenu dvadeset i treća, a konkurencija, ni manje, ni više nego 152 broda od kojih je 140 finulo prvu etapu.

Bilo je još brodova iz tri spomenuta kluba, koja su odradila prvu etapu od Splita do Visa dugu 28 nautičkih milja, koja je pripala domaćinu. Labudov Polet Furioso s kormilarom Nikolom Deškovićem je bio najbrži, osam sekundi poslije je ciljem prošao slovenski adut, Generali.

Po realnom vremenu u skupini ‘C MAXI‘ Cardea (Orsan) s kormilarom Mariom Jozovićem prva, u skupini ‘C1‘ Samoa (Ploče sailing) s kormilarom Antom Brozovićem druga, kao i Analea (Orsan) u skupini ‘C4‘ za čijim kormilom je Igor Šikić. U ‘R1‘ skupini prvi je Dubrovnik, a druga Stravaganza, u skupini ‘R2‘ drugi LeeLoo, u skupini ‘R4‘ drugi Južni vjetar

Po ORC-u Dubrovnik je na vrhu, Regina treća, LeeLoo peti, Analea osma... u skupinama po ORC-u Dubrovnik je prvi u ‘A‘, LeeLoo drugi u skupini ‘B‘, a Regina prva u skupini ‘C‘.

Subota je rezervirana za regatu u Luci Vis. Nedjelja za drugu etapu. Dubrovnik neće odmarati u subotu, nije ni prethodnih godina. Neće ni Stravaganza, neće ni Južni vjetar. Stravaganza je lani osvojila regatu u Luci Vis.

Sad su uz kormilara Nika Kmetovića na Stravaganzi još Ivan Grgić, Dragan Držanić, Milenko Šain, Josip Džamonja, Ruth Matičević, Milan Cebalo, Vlaho Marčinko i Mario Gabrić. Opet im je cilj osvojiti regatu, a u nedjelju biti još bolji na drugoj, posljednjoj etapi 78. Viške regate.

Dubrovnik je osim prošle godine bio slavodobitnik Viške regate i 2018., te 2019. godine.

Startala je festa pod jedrima, Viška regata, njeno 78. izdanje, koje je okupilo oko 2000 jedriličara ne samo iz Hrvatske.

- Dobro smo se spremili. Očekivali smo, prema vremenskoj prognozi, ovakvu situaciju prvog dana. Dakle, bio je lagani levanat do pola kanala. Plan nam je bio ići što bliže Braču, te hvatat tramuntanu. Među prvima smo to uspjeli, uz Brač i Mrduju smo bez stajanja prošli kroz splitska vrata kao četvrti brod. To je bila prva prepreka. Slovenci su tad bili prvi, samo još Polet i Fatamorgana ispred nas... U kanalu smo vidjeli, gledajući prema Visu, kako probija tramuntana. Cilj je bio uhvatit je, te što prije i brže doći do Visa. To smo odlično odradili. Četvrti ukupno po realnom vremenu, a prvi smo po ORC-u. Moramo bit zadovoljni prvom etapom, više nego zadovoljni s obzirom kako je dosta većih brodova iza nas – priča Denis Vukas u čijim rukama je kormilo Dubrovnika.

Još prije starta, u domu Labuda, ‘sudarila‘ se posada Dubrovnika svako malo s pitanjem: ‘Jeste li spremni za četvrti naslov?‘.

- Jedrenje je nepredvidivo, vjetar može okrenut u trenutku kad si prvi, te na kraju budeš zadnji, a onaj zadnji može bit prvi... Trebat će napravit opet dobru strategiju u nedjelju, kad krećemo natrag s Visa prema Splitu. Želja je da uđemo opet među prvima u Split. Ako to uspijemo, trebalo bi opet biti dobro – dodaje Vukas s kojim su Maroje Kurajica, Ivo Kvestić, Tonči Kordić, Davor Dužević, Gogo Sentić i Alec Cvinar.

Ukupno su tri bandjere Orsana među deset prvih prošle ciljem prve etape. Odmah iza Dubrovnika bila je Stravaganza s Nikom Kmetovićem, a Južni vjetar s legendarnim Jadranom Gamulinom deseti. Plus treba spomenuti LeeLoo Jedriličarskog kluba Ploče sailing s kormilarom Teom Marinovićem, koji je imao trinaesto vrijeme, dok je Regina Jedriličarskog kluba Cavtat s Nikolom Zečevićem bila po realnom vremenu dvadeset i treća, a konkurencija, ni manje, ni više nego 152 broda od kojih je 140 finulo prvu etapu.

Bilo je još brodova iz tri spomenuta kluba, koja su odradila prvu etapu od Splita do Visa dugu 28 nautičkih milja, koja je pripala domaćinu. Labudov Polet Furioso s kormilarom Nikolom Deškovićem je bio najbrži, osam sekundi poslije je ciljem prošao slovenski adut, Generali.

Po realnom vremenu u skupini ‘C MAXI‘ Cardea (Orsan) s kormilarom Mariom Jozovićem prva, u skupini ‘C1‘ Samoa (Ploče sailing) s kormilarom Antom Brozovićem druga, kao i Analea (Orsan) u skupini ‘C4‘ za čijim kormilom je Igor Šikić. U ‘R1‘ skupini prvi je Dubrovnik, a druga Stravaganza, u skupini ‘R2‘ drugi LeeLoo, u skupini ‘R4‘ drugi Južni vjetar

Po ORC-u Dubrovnik je na vrhu, Regina treća, LeeLoo peti, Analea osma... u skupinama po ORC-u Dubrovnik je prvi u ‘A‘, LeeLoo drugi u skupini ‘B‘, a Regina prva u skupini ‘C‘.

Subota je rezervirana za regatu u Luci Vis. Nedjelja za drugu etapu. Dubrovnik neće odmarati u subotu, nije ni prethodnih godina. Neće ni Stravaganza, neće ni Južni vjetar. Stravaganza je lani osvojila regatu u Luci Vis.

Sad su uz kormilara Nika Kmetovića na Stravaganzi još Ivan Grgić, Dragan Držanić, Milenko Šain, Josip Džamonja, Ruth Matičević, Milan Cebalo, Vlaho Marčinko i Mario Gabrić. Opet im je cilj osvojiti regatu, a u nedjelju biti još bolji na drugoj, posljednjoj etapi 78. Viške regate.

Dubrovnik je osim prošle godine bio slavodobitnik Viške regate i 2018., te 2019. godine.
