Što bismo mogli slušati preporučuje nam jazz pjevačica rodom iz Dubrovnika čije je glazbeno putovanje, prema vlastitom priznanju, započelo na nekonvencionalan način. Odrastajući u ratom uništenom Gradu, učila je glazbu i jazz slušajući Chet Baker, Milesa Davisa, Johna Coltranea, Toma Jobima, Ellu Fitzgerald i Billie Holiday, te pod povremenim mentorstvom profesora saxofona Antuna Simatovića.

Björk- Homogenic

Album izašao 1997. godine u vrijeme mojih početnih glazbenih traženja i istraživanja. Jedan je od najujtjecajnijih za moj izričaj i pjevačku slobodu, te od tad do danas beskompromisnu hrabrost bivanja onim što jesi.

Homogenic je prvotno trebao biti napravljen u Londonu, ali je tamošnja produkcija zaustavljena nakon što je pomahnitali obožavatelj pokušao ubiti pjevačicu. Snimanje je prebačeno u Španjolsku, što je uvelike utjecalo na samu glazbu. To je bila prva od nekoliko produkcijskih suradnji između Björk i Marka Bella koji je imao veliki utjecaj na njezinu glazbenu karijeru.

Homogenic je na Islandu bio na prvom mjestu službene ljestvice albuma, a dosegao je 28. mjesto Billboardovog Topa 200 i 4. mjesto britanske ljestvice top albuma. Bio je visoko cijenjen pri prvom objavljivanju, a kritičari ga i dalje hvale kao kultni album. s njega je pbjavljeno pet singlova: "Jóga", "Bachelorette", "Hunter", "Alarm Call" i "All Is Full of Love".

Mene se posebno dojmilo što je Björk na ovom albumu uspjela tako savršeno ujediniti sirovost i nježnost, tamu i svjetlo te poput neke misteriozne, groteskne, ali prelijepe islandske vile provesti nas kroz jedno ovako kapitalno glazbeno djelo.

Radiohead - The King of Limbs

Nakon dugotrajnog snimanja i konvencionalnijih instrumenata na albumu In Rainbows (2007), Radiohead i njihov dugogodišnji producent Nigel Godrich razvili su The King of Limbs sempliranjem i loopovima. Sam pjevač Thom Yorke opisao je zvuk samog albuma, objavljenog 2011. kao "izraz divljine i mutacije".

Iako je njegova nekonvencionalna produkcija i kraća duljina podijelila slušatelje, The King of Limbs je u publikacijama uključujući The Wire, NME i PopMatters proglašen jednim od najboljih albuma godine. Bio je nominiran u pet kategorija na 54. godišnjoj dodjeli nagrada Grammy, uključujući i najbolji album alternativne glazbe. Verzija za preuzimanje prodana je u 300.000 do 400.000 primjeraka u dva mjeseca, a vinil je postao bestseler u Velikoj Britaniji. Maloprodajno izdanje debitiralo je na sedmom mjestu UK Albums Chart -a i šestom na američkom Billboard 200.

Meni osobno album provocira osjećaje beskrajne energije, zanosa, utjehe i znatiželje. To je glazba toliko integrirana u svoju istinuć, ima tu i psihodelije, groteske, jazza, šamanizma, klasike… apsolutno svega. izrazito autentično majstorsko djelo. Tom pjeva tako mikrotonalno, na momente se čini kao da je na samom rubu falša koji se nikada ne dogodi. Toliko organski pjevano i skladano da izaziva cijelu paletu osjećaja. Obratite pažnju posebno na izvedbu pjesme Lotus Flower.

Erik Satie - Reinbert de Leeuw

Reinbert de Leeuw može se smatrati jednim od najboljih izvođača Erika Satieja. Njegov savršen tajming i osjećaj za Satiejevu glazbu oživljavaju u ovom albumu (Early piano works vol.1). Tijekom sedamdesetih, s velikim je uspjehom primijenio interpretaciju glazbe ovog 'zaboravljenog' skladatelja. Prilazi mu usporeno, najbolje ga je čuti u dugoj verziji "Gnossienna".

Nizozemski skladatelj, pijanist i dirigent Reinbert de Leeuw proslavio se sedamdesetih, svojim nastupima iz repertoara Georgea Antheila i Erika Satiea, između ostalih. Kasnije je bio umjetnički voditelj različitih orkestara. Povodom svog 70. rođendana, Reinbert de Leeuw odlikovan je vitezom reda nizozemskog lava.

Veliki sam obožavatelj glazbe Erika Satija te sam baš zato napravila dva koncertna programa njemu u čast u zadnje 4 godine. Jedan program sa kvartetom (piano, cello, glas, violina) te simfonijski program sa aranžmanima za glas i orkestar.

Ovaj album je po mom mišljenju baš otvorio Satijeva djela u svojem punom sjaju.

Satie je toliko mističan, eteričan, toliko osjetljiv da svaka iti malo pogrešna invazija može uzrokovati katastrofu, ali de Leeuw je svojim sviranjem oplemenio svaku napisanu, ali i nenapisanu notu.

Što bismo mogli slušati preporučuje nam jazz pjevačica rodom iz Dubrovnika čije je glazbeno putovanje, prema vlastitom priznanju, započelo na nekonvencionalan način. Odrastajući u ratom uništenom Gradu, učila je glazbu i jazz slušajući Chet Baker, Milesa Davisa, Johna Coltranea, Toma Jobima, Ellu Fitzgerald i Billie Holiday, te pod povremenim mentorstvom profesora saxofona Antuna Simatovića.

Björk- Homogenic

Album izašao 1997. godine u vrijeme mojih početnih glazbenih traženja i istraživanja. Jedan je od najujtjecajnijih za moj izričaj i pjevačku slobodu, te od tad do danas beskompromisnu hrabrost bivanja onim što jesi.

Homogenic je prvotno trebao biti napravljen u Londonu, ali je tamošnja produkcija zaustavljena nakon što je pomahnitali obožavatelj pokušao ubiti pjevačicu. Snimanje je prebačeno u Španjolsku, što je uvelike utjecalo na samu glazbu. To je bila prva od nekoliko produkcijskih suradnji između Björk i Marka Bella koji je imao veliki utjecaj na njezinu glazbenu karijeru.

Homogenic je na Islandu bio na prvom mjestu službene ljestvice albuma, a dosegao je 28. mjesto Billboardovog Topa 200 i 4. mjesto britanske ljestvice top albuma. Bio je visoko cijenjen pri prvom objavljivanju, a kritičari ga i dalje hvale kao kultni album. s njega je pbjavljeno pet singlova: "Jóga", "Bachelorette", "Hunter", "Alarm Call" i "All Is Full of Love".

Mene se posebno dojmilo što je Björk na ovom albumu uspjela tako savršeno ujediniti sirovost i nježnost, tamu i svjetlo te poput neke misteriozne, groteskne, ali prelijepe islandske vile provesti nas kroz jedno ovako kapitalno glazbeno djelo.

Radiohead - The King of Limbs

Nakon dugotrajnog snimanja i konvencionalnijih instrumenata na albumu In Rainbows (2007), Radiohead i njihov dugogodišnji producent Nigel Godrich razvili su The King of Limbs sempliranjem i loopovima. Sam pjevač Thom Yorke opisao je zvuk samog albuma, objavljenog 2011. kao "izraz divljine i mutacije".

Iako je njegova nekonvencionalna produkcija i kraća duljina podijelila slušatelje, The King of Limbs je u publikacijama uključujući The Wire, NME i PopMatters proglašen jednim od najboljih albuma godine. Bio je nominiran u pet kategorija na 54. godišnjoj dodjeli nagrada Grammy, uključujući i najbolji album alternativne glazbe. Verzija za preuzimanje prodana je u 300.000 do 400.000 primjeraka u dva mjeseca, a vinil je postao bestseler u Velikoj Britaniji. Maloprodajno izdanje debitiralo je na sedmom mjestu UK Albums Chart -a i šestom na američkom Billboard 200.

Meni osobno album provocira osjećaje beskrajne energije, zanosa, utjehe i znatiželje. To je glazba toliko integrirana u svoju istinuć, ima tu i psihodelije, groteske, jazza, šamanizma, klasike… apsolutno svega. izrazito autentično majstorsko djelo. Tom pjeva tako mikrotonalno, na momente se čini kao da je na samom rubu falša koji se nikada ne dogodi. Toliko organski pjevano i skladano da izaziva cijelu paletu osjećaja. Obratite pažnju posebno na izvedbu pjesme Lotus Flower.

Erik Satie - Reinbert de Leeuw

Reinbert de Leeuw može se smatrati jednim od najboljih izvođača Erika Satieja. Njegov savršen tajming i osjećaj za Satiejevu glazbu oživljavaju u ovom albumu (Early piano works vol.1). Tijekom sedamdesetih, s velikim je uspjehom primijenio interpretaciju glazbe ovog 'zaboravljenog' skladatelja. Prilazi mu usporeno, najbolje ga je čuti u dugoj verziji "Gnossienna".

Nizozemski skladatelj, pijanist i dirigent Reinbert de Leeuw proslavio se sedamdesetih, svojim nastupima iz repertoara Georgea Antheila i Erika Satiea, između ostalih. Kasnije je bio umjetnički voditelj različitih orkestara. Povodom svog 70. rođendana, Reinbert de Leeuw odlikovan je vitezom reda nizozemskog lava.

Veliki sam obožavatelj glazbe Erika Satija te sam baš zato napravila dva koncertna programa njemu u čast u zadnje 4 godine. Jedan program sa kvartetom (piano, cello, glas, violina) te simfonijski program sa aranžmanima za glas i orkestar.

Ovaj album je po mom mišljenju baš otvorio Satijeva djela u svojem punom sjaju.

Satie je toliko mističan, eteričan, toliko osjetljiv da svaka iti malo pogrešna invazija može uzrokovati katastrofu, ali de Leeuw je svojim sviranjem oplemenio svaku napisanu, ali i nenapisanu notu.

Što bismo mogli slušati preporučuje nam jazz pjevačica rodom iz Dubrovnika čije je glazbeno putovanje, prema vlastitom priznanju, započelo na nekonvencionalan način. Odrastajući u ratom uništenom Gradu, učila je glazbu i jazz slušajući Chet Baker, Milesa Davisa, Johna Coltranea, Toma Jobima, Ellu Fitzgerald i Billie Holiday, te pod povremenim mentorstvom profesora saxofona Antuna Simatovića.

Björk- Homogenic

Album izašao 1997. godine u vrijeme mojih početnih glazbenih traženja i istraživanja. Jedan je od najujtjecajnijih za moj izričaj i pjevačku slobodu, te od tad do danas beskompromisnu hrabrost bivanja onim što jesi.

Homogenic je prvotno trebao biti napravljen u Londonu, ali je tamošnja produkcija zaustavljena nakon što je pomahnitali obožavatelj pokušao ubiti pjevačicu. Snimanje je prebačeno u Španjolsku, što je uvelike utjecalo na samu glazbu. To je bila prva od nekoliko produkcijskih suradnji između Björk i Marka Bella koji je imao veliki utjecaj na njezinu glazbenu karijeru.

Homogenic je na Islandu bio na prvom mjestu službene ljestvice albuma, a dosegao je 28. mjesto Billboardovog Topa 200 i 4. mjesto britanske ljestvice top albuma. Bio je visoko cijenjen pri prvom objavljivanju, a kritičari ga i dalje hvale kao kultni album. s njega je pbjavljeno pet singlova: "Jóga", "Bachelorette", "Hunter", "Alarm Call" i "All Is Full of Love".

Mene se posebno dojmilo što je Björk na ovom albumu uspjela tako savršeno ujediniti sirovost i nježnost, tamu i svjetlo te poput neke misteriozne, groteskne, ali prelijepe islandske vile provesti nas kroz jedno ovako kapitalno glazbeno djelo.
